Analyzing Effects of Government Promoting Policies for IPTV Adoption (정부 지원 정책이 IPTV 수용에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • This research aims to examine the efficiency and effectiveness of the governmental policies promoting IPTV by verifying their influences on the adoption empirically. The government unveiled several policies including creating demands in public sectors, developing diverse public contents, subsidizing the production of converged contents, easing the regulations to promote IPTV industry. While a lot of previous literature has already proved that a system quality, a content quality, and a perceived price have influences on the adoption of IPTV, the effects of governmental policies are not well understood despite of their contributions to the adoption. Rather, most of existing research on governmental policies in the context of technology adoption have focused on regulatory frameworks. The results of the study show that governmental policies have influences on consumers' perceived system quality and content quality. It is also found that perceived system quality, content quality and perceived price have influences on adoption intention. This study can contribute to the field in a way that it proves the important roles of governmental policies in the diffusion of new technologies including IPTV.

An Efficient Real Time Processing Method for Frequently Updated Data (빈번한 변경이 요구되는 데이터의 효율적인 실시간 처리 기법)

  • Recently, the operator modules to control external devices are concerned about automatic management system to process continuously changed signals. They need a efficient data management with high reliability and real time processing. The characteristics of these data are a large volume, a short report interval and asynchronous report time. The typical queries of these systems consist of the current query to search the latest signal value, the snapshot query to search the signal value of a past time, the historical query to search the signal value of a past tine to current. In this paper, we propose the efficient method to manage the above signals by using a file structured database in QNX operating systems. The data communications among the devices are done by Profibus-FMS protocol and the file databases are used for adjusting monitoring frequency and storing signals. The file database adopts a delta version and a periodical back up in due consideration of the resource limit of a small storage and a low computing power in QNX COM(Cabinet Operator Module).

An Evaluation of Usability and Interface Design of Internet Shopping Mall (인터넷 쇼핑몰의 사용성 평가 및 인터페이스 설계)

  • Internet shopping mall is done commercial trade in particular web sites, and zoomed with an important means of trade for the next generation. When users visit shopping mall, the best objective is determined to users by of offering satisfaction and pleasant experience. Therefore. this paper was selected a menu list as an evaluation factor to emphasize a usage convenience of internet shopping mall, and executed a performance and a subjective satisfaction evaluations on a screen design and a structure design. The results of all the performance and the subjective evaluations for the screen design were shown the shortest search times on left type of the main-menu and vertical type of the medium-menu. In the structure design, it was shown that users were the highest satisfaction in type that search product and shopping cart procedure were firstly processed, and the procedure of a shopping membership and paying a bill were secondly processed at the same screen with regard to a comprehensibility and convenience of purchase procedure. It was shown that the user prefered the shopping mall web site to analogy with the real purchase procedure

A Study on the Extraction of Psychological Distance Embedded in Company's SNS Messages Using Machine Learning (머신 러닝을 활용한 회사 SNS 메시지에 내포된 심리적 거리 추출 연구)

  • The social network service (SNS) is one of the important marketing channels, so many companies actively exploit SNSs by posting SNS messages with appropriate content and style for their customers. In this paper, we focused on the psychological distances embedded in the SNS messages and developed a method to measure the psychological distance in SNS message by mixing a traditional content analysis, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning. Through a traditional content analysis by human coding, the psychological distance was extracted from the SNS message, and these coding results were used for input data for NLP and machine learning. With NLP, word embedding was executed and Bag of Word was created. The Support Vector Machine, one of machine learning techniques was performed to train and test the psychological distance in SNS message. As a result, sensitivity and precision of SVM prediction were significantly low because of the extreme skewness of dataset. We improved the performance of SVM by balancing the ratio of data by upsampling technique and using data coded with the same value in first content analysis. All performance index was more than 70%, which showed that psychological distance can be measured well.

A Cost-Aware Multi-path DSDV Routing Protocol in Wireless Mesh Networks (무선 메쉬 네트워크에서 비용 인지 다중 경로 DSDV 라우팅 프로토콜)

  • In wireless mesh network, studies on routing protocols have been actively carried out recently, and hop count is used as a major routing metric in destination-sequenced distance-vector (DSDV) routing protocol, which is a representative proactive routing protocol. Although hop-by-hop multi-path (HMP) DSDV and enhanced HMP (EHMP) DSDV routing protocols perform routing by considering both hop count and residual bandwidth within one hop distance nodes, it has a shortcoming that routing is carried out via non-optimal path from the aspect of end-to-end routing. In order to overcome the shortcoming, a cost-aware multi-path (CAMP) DSDV routing protocol is proposed in this paper, which considers hop count and end-to-end minimum residual bandwidth. Simulation results based on NS-2 show that the proposed routing protocol performs better than DSDV, HMP DSDV, and EHMP DSDV protocols from the aspect of throughput and packet delivery ratio, by appropriately using hop count and end-to-end minimum residual bandwidth information and has the same number of management messages with HMP DSDV and EHMP DSDV protocols.

  • 외국인 유학생과 국내 체류 외국인을 포함하여 한국어를 학습하고자 하는 외국인이 지속적으로 증가함에 따라, 외국인 한국어 학습자의 교육에 대한 관심도 높아지고 있다. 기존 맞춤법 검사기는 한국어를 충분히 이해할 수 있는 한국인의 사용에 중점을 두고 있어, 외국인 한국어 학습자가 사용하기에는 다소 부적절하다. 본 논문에서는 한국어의 문맥 특성과 외국인의 작문 특성을 반영한 한국어 교정 방식을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템에서는 말뭉치에서 추출한 어절 바이그램에 대한 음절 역색인을 구성하여 추천 표현을 빠르게 제시할 수 있으며, 키보드 후킹에 기반한 사용자인터페이스를 제공하여 사용자 편의를 높인다.

The Design and Performance Analysis of Effficient VoIP Service Scheme for High Speed Packet Switching based on IMT-2000 (IMT-2000 기반 고속 패킷 교환 방식에서의 효율적인 VoIP 서비스 지원 방안 설계와 성능 분석)

  • In this paper, we consider pits and falls of V oIP service scheme over the air link environment. It results that V oIP over packet switching is a more attractive approach in several points. We point out the ffilIior requirements for successful V oIP service over the air. Also, we propose V oIP CP concept for efficient wireless channel utilization. Additionally, we analyze and evaluate the performance. According to the results, It shows that the long cycle VolP vocoder CODEC such as ITU-T G.723 is better than short cycle V oIP vocoder CODEC. In this case, the increase of the simultaneous user of system is almost 60% larger than conventional circuit switching.

Mediating Effect of Ease of Use and Customer Satisfaction in the Relationship between Mobile Shopping Mall of Service Quality and Repurchase Intention of University Student consumer (모바일쇼핑몰 서비스품질과 대학생 고객의 재구매의도 관계에서 사용용이성과 고객만족도의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify empirically the causal relationship between service quality, ease of use, customer satisfaction, and repurchase intention of mobile shopping mall. And this study is to investigate the ease of use and customer satisfaction mediating effect of between service quality and repurchase intention. Therefore, 323 university students in Jeonnam area were surveyed and the structural equation model was derived based on previous research. Service quality of mobile shopping mall make a significant effect on using easiness, purchasing satisfaction and repurchase intention. However, among service quality of mobile shopping mall, service scape like mobile interface and site design made a positive effect on purchasing satisfaction, but did not any effect on repurchase intention. In other words, service quality factors that make positive effects on customer's pleasant using and repurchase intention make a positive effect on repurchase intention when providing and using the service customer wants faithfully rather than external part of the site and mutually influencing attitude or behavior well. The implications suggested by this study are as follows. First, service quality of mobile shopping mall makes a significant effect on repurchase intention, so it's necessary to improve CS service system so as to treat customers' inquiries or inconveniences actively during mobile shopping and return and refund of defective products quickly and conveniently. And, in addition to the finally used factors in analysis process, benefits using customers' grade by number of purchases, such as various events, coupons, reserve, etc. and active contents marketing strategies providing more various pleasures and values of shopping are necessary. Second, satisfaction of mobile shopping mall makes a positive effect on repurchase intention, so visiting of site and repurchasing of product are continuously done as customers' satisfaction on shopping mall is increasing. Therefore, shopping mall site requires differentiation of contents, exact plan and practice of service, marketing, etc. so that customers can feel more satisfaction. This study is significant as it systematically analyzed concepts of components that service quality of mobile shopping mall makes an effect on using easiness, purchasing satisfaction, and repurchase intention, verified the relations, systematized it by theoretical structure, and widened the understanding of effects making an effect on repurchase intention.

Mortality Prediction of Older Adults Admitted to the Emergency Department (응급실 방문 노인 환자의 사망률 예측)

  • As the global population becomes aging, the demand for health services for the elderly is expected to increase. In particular, The elderly visiting the emergency department sometimes have complex medical, social, and physical problems, such as having a variety of illnesses or complaints of unusual symptoms. The proposed system is designed to predict the mortality of the elderly patients who are over 65 years old and have admitted the emergency department. For mortality prediction, we compare the support vector machines and Feed Forward Neural Network (FFNN) trained with medical data such as age, sex, blood pressure, body temperature, etc. The results of the FFNN with a hidden layer are best in the mortality prediction, and F1 score and the AUC is 52.0%, 88.6% respectively. If we improve the performance of the proposed system by extracting better medical features, we will be able to provide better medical services through an effective and quick allocation of medical resources for the elderly patients visiting the emergency department.

Detection of Unknown Malicious Scripts Using Static Analysis (정적 분석을 이용한 알려지지 않은 악성 스크립트 감지)

  • Analyzing the code using static heuristics is a widely used technique for detecting unknown malicious codes. It decides the maliciousness of a code by searching for some fragments that had been frequently found in known malicious codes. However, in script codes, it tries to search for sequences of method calls, not code fragments, because finding such fragments is much difficult. This technique makes many false alarms because such method calls can be also used in normal scripts. Thus, static heuristics for scripts are used only to detect malicious behavior consisting of specific method calls which is seldom used in normal scripts. In this paper. we suggest a static analysis that can detect malicious behavior more accurately, by concerning not only the method calls but also parameters and return values. The result of experiments show that malicious behaviors, which were difficult to detect by previous works, due to high false positive, will be detected by our method.
