For a long time, we have been good at the static image, 'the country of calm morning' as reminding Korea. But, it became a chance that we were recognized newly and actively through the success of the Olympic games in 1988 and World cup games in 2002 all over the world. And foreigners' interest and expectation for Korea becomes much higher by these reasons. Moreover, the importance of our cultural industry, recognition for new cultural improvement have been changing step by step by the oriental trend in Asia in these days. So, this study intends to realize the Korean symbol with showing Korean Identity and its image's applying to the street furniture design through the making of special street which expresses well the Korean Image. There is a purpose of this study not to use as just street furniture but to make characterized Korean culture through showing examples which are based on Korean culture. The way of the improvement for the street furniture design using Korean image are these we analyze the character of Korean international image with the previous data for the change of Korean Image. We understand the symbol of changed Korean international Image, and extract the design elements. We analogize the shape, material and color image of the street furniture which is joined with both the Korean national image and formative traditional elements. At last, we formalize its symbolic image by applying to the street furniture according to the design improvement process with the analogized image. The formal study using Korean image makes more cleary the Korean Identity, and it doesn't influence only the actual change but also Korean cultural value equipment.

많은 양의 디지털 이미지들 중에서 원하는 이미지를 추출해 내기 위해서 JPEG이미지 파일 안에 들어있는 이미지에 대한 정보를 검색에 이용할 수 있을 것이다. Digital camera를 위해 고안된 확장된 JPEG파일 구조인 EXIF형식의 경우 이미지에 대한 정보를 많이 포함하고 있기 때문에 이를 검색에 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 이미지에 대한 정보는 여러 목적에 따라 다를 수 있기 때문에 모든 종류의 가능한 이미지 정보 포맷을 미리 지정해 두기에는 한계가 있다. 따라서 사용자가 이미지 정보의 특성 자체를 정의하여 첨가시킬 수 있다면 더 사용자의 용도에 맞는 이미지 검색이 가능하게 될 것이다. 이렇게 이미지에 대한 정보 목록 자체를 추가할 수 있도록 하기 위한 방안으로 새로운 JPEG 파일 포맷인 JPEG2000에 있는 XML BOX를 이용하였다. 사용자가 추가하고 싶은 이미지 정보를 직접 정의하여 입력하면 XML 생성기에 의해서 이에 따른 XML코드가 생성되고 JPEG2000의 XML BOX에 정보가 추가되어 이를 검색에 활용할 수 있도록 시스템을 설계하였다.

This study investigates the parameters that affect the choice of Korean medical services, as well as the relationship between the cultural characteristics and the behavioral intention to use Korean medical services. The cultural characteristics of Chinese and Russian individuals have an impact on the national image and image of Korea's medical services, and that this affects their behavioral intention to use Korean medical services. Nevertheless, there were differences among the cultural characteristics, in terms of specific elements. Among Chinese individuals, the national image is affected by 'power distance', 'individualism-collectivism', and 'long-term orientation'; for Russians, it is affected by 'individualism-collectivism', 'power distance', 'uncertainty avoidance', and 'long-term orientation'. On the other hand, for Chinese, the image of Korean medical services is affected by 'power distance' and 'long-term orientation', while for Russians it is affected by 'power distance' and 'uncertainty avoidance'. These in turn influence their behavioral intention to use Korean medical services. As such, by recognizing these cultural properties, and by designing and offering suitable services with these in mind, Korean medical institutions can nurture among foreign visitors greater satisfaction and a desire to revisit.

본 연구의 목적은 특정 목적을 가진 제품들의 특성들을 파악하여 디자인 개발시 이러한 특성들을 제품 컨셉 또는 디자인 형태에 응용하고자 함이다. 이를 위해 먼저 실험 대상을 설정하였고, 실험 대상을 선택한 후 실험 대상에 관한 기초 설문과 실험 대상 이미지 분석을 실시하였다. 이후 실험 대상의 디자인과 기능적 요소를 추출하여 코딩하였다. 그리고 실험 대상의 이미지분석 후 얻은 요소와 실험 대상의 요소의 관계를 증명하였으며, 실험 대상의 특성 추출을 위한 설문을 실시하였다. 이러한 실험 프로세스를 거쳐 특정한 제품에 특성들을 추출함으로써 디자인 개발 시 소비자 니즈의 분석이 가능하며, 제품을 이해하는 기초 자료로 사용이 가능하다. 또한 디자이너가 제품을 쉽게 이해하고 디자인 개발 시 컨셉 설정에 큰 기초가 된다. 본 연구의 MP3의 경우 MP3의 이미지 분석 결과 음악성, 확장성, 휴대성, 사용성, 신체 부담감, 인터페이스, 그리고 개성으로 나타났으며, 이들과 각각 연관된 특성들을 찾았다. 이로써 MP3를 디자인할 때 중요 특성들을 제시하였다. 이러한 기초 연구를 통해 보다 효과적인 소비자 니즈 파악이 가능하고, 디자인 기초 학문 발전을 가져올 것이다.

This study is aimed at analysing the mathematical thinking processes based on image by the mathematically gifted. For this, the 'Splitting a Tetrahedron' Task was used and mathematical thinking of the two middle school students were investigated. One of them deduced how many tetrahedral and octahedral were there when a tetrahedra was splitted by the surfaces which were parallel to each face of the tetrahedra without using any physical material. The other one solved the task using physical material and invented new images. A concrete image, indexical image and symbolic image were founded and the various roles of images could be confirmed.

The purpose of this study is to classify the images of blue based on expressive values communicated by color on symbolic aspects and the blue images expressed in modem apparel fashion. Images of blue are classified through the document studies as follows : The expressive values of blue are cold, receding, and sedative. Based on these values, affimative images of blue are classified infinite, lofty, peaceful, tranquil and contemplate. Negative images are classified sad, indecent, rebellious, and indignant. In apparel fashion, blue acted as a important image factor in classic, workwear, military and marine look. Blue green and purple blue in pale, greyish and light tones were showed as trend color. Meanwhile, purple blues in dark greyish, pale and greyish tones were more used for domestic womens wear.

목적: 간호전문직 위상정립에 영향을 미치는 간호 이미지에 관해 대학생을 대상으로 그들이 지각하는 간호이미지와 바람직한 간호자질을 조사하여 전문직 간호사로서의 이미지 형성을 위한 기초자료로 제공하기 위함이다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 N.시에 있는 1개 대학교의 간호학생 92명과 일반학생 100명으로 총 192명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용한 서술연구이다. 연구결과: 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 간호 이미지정도를 살펴보면, 비간호학생군(A군)에서는 영화나 TV를 통해서 간호 이미지가 형성된 것보다는 그렇지 않은 경우가 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났고(F=4.81, p=.03), 신문이나 잡지에서는 의사의 보조역할로 비춰진 것이 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 니타났다(F=3.41, p=.01). 반면에 간호학생군(B군)은10%유의수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 결과는 간호사와 간호조무사를 복장이나 행동을 보고 구분할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다(F=2.25, p=.06). 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 간호사 자질정도를 보면, 두 군 모두 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 간호이미지와 간호사 자질간의 상관관계에서는 r=.720(p=.000)으로 높은 순 상관관계를 보임을 알 수 있었다. 간호 이미지에 영향을 미치는 가장 중요한 예측변인은 간호사 자질로 52% 설명할 수 있었으며, 여기에 영화나 TV를 통해 형성된 경우를 추가하면 54%, 간호학생인 경우를 추가하면 총 56%로 간호 이미지를 설명할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 연구결과를 토대로 다음과 같은 제언을 할 수 있겠다. 1. 간호 대학생들이 긍정적인 간호 이미지를 경험하도록 올바른 윤리와 간호전문성을 정립할 수 있는 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다. 2. 간호사 이미지 향상을 위한 대중매체의 활용전략에 대한 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

This paper proposes a visualization method that expresses users' MBTI personality types based on the categorization method called 'Big Five Personality Traits' and their representative celebrities' facial images. This system has significance for visualizing traits from texts to images effectively. The entire system is composed of making backgrounds to represent traits of each MBTI category using 'Big Five Personality Traits' and showing facial images of celebrities with corresponding MBTI personality types. First, 'Big Five Personality Traits' classifies 16 MBTI types into four categories and each of category traits lays the foundation to make background using visual elements such as colors and lines. Second, celebrities' facial images are substituted for the corresponding literal explanation of each MBTI type. By adjusting the color saturation, users can distinguish relationship between the types intuitively. As a result, this system enables users to take information for their own / opposite / similar MBTI types simultaneously.

본 논문은 이미지가 갖는 R, G, B 비율의 분산을 이용하여, 공간 영역에서 정보를 은닉하는 알고리즘을 제시한다. 웹 상에서 Jpeg, bmp, gif 등의 포멧을 갖는 이미지를 raw 파일로 변환한 후, R,G,B 비율을 구한다. 그 중 사람의 눈에 가장 둔감한 B 비율 분산을 조작하여 정보를 은닉하는데 이용한다. 또한 오류율을 낮추기 위하여 (15,7)BCH Code 를 사용한다. 제안된 알고리즘이 JPEG(Joint Photographic coding Experts Group) compression, scale(이미지의 크기 변화), Mediancut 과 같은 이미지 변화에 강한 특성과 정보은닉 후에도 화질열화가 발생하지 않는 특성을 실험을 통해 보인다.

The attribute of cartoon and comics has been known the combination of image and text. It is improved the we find the shape of comics at the first comics on the newspaper. But we can read the comic without word. These works don't give the difficult to read and it may transfer to readers by the image of figure on comics. Therefore how can the image reach the readers by the communication. This study is the research of the visual image communication and the attribute of wordless comics.
