Recognition of Partial Discharge Patterns (부분방전 패턴의 인식)

  • In this work, two approaches were proposed for the recognition of partial discharge patterns. The first approach was neural network with backpropagation algorithm, and the second approach was angle calculation between t재 operator vectors. PD signals were detected using three electrode systems; IEC(b), needle-plane and CIGRE method II electrode system. Both of neural network and angle comparison method showed good recognition performance for the patterns similar to the trained patterns. And the number of operators to be used had a great influence on the recognition performance to the untrained patterns.

전북 무주읍 일대의 지하수 수질특성

  • 연구지역은 좁은 면적에 비하여 800m 이상의 지형기복을 보이며, 계곡과 하천 충적층을 따라 마을이 발달된 전형적인 수계 상류의 농촌지역이다. 주요 상수원은 천부지하수이며, 농업용으로는 하천수를 이용한다. 지표수는 연구지역의 소유역(A, B)간 계절별 수질차이를 보이나, 지하수의 경우 유역간 및 계절별 변동이 상대적으로 작게 나타난다. B 소유역의 하류부에서는 지질매체의 영향으로 보이는 Fe, Mn, Zn 농도의 부화현상이 나타났으며, 이는 방이리층과 길왕리층을 기반암으로 하는 지역에 대한 전체적인 지하수질 조사가 필요함을 지시한다. 국지적인 수질오염원으로 과거에 개발되었던 폐금광이 존재하며, 이로 인한 산성수의 발생도 인지되었다.

  • The study summarized in this paper is concerned with the buckling of a longitudinal bar in reinforced concrete members by numerical analysis method. The objectives of this study are to investigate the stress transfer mechanism between concrete and reinforcment and to propose a modeling equation. The result gives an acceptable agreement between the proposed modeling equation and the computer package as follows: (1) the proposed equation is a possible prediction of the strain softening of concrete and reinforcement buckling. (2) the buckling of longitudinal bars is mainly influenced by the spacing of hoops and the location of the bar.

  • Finite element analysis using ANSYS program conducted to evaluate the tensile behavior of the connection between reinforced concrete and steel members is presented in this paper. It is assumed that there is a complete bond between head part of the stud and concrete. However, the surface of the column area of stud is separated from the concrete to stop the stress transmission between those. In case of using reinforcement connectors such as C or U type, the interface between concrete and reinforcement is idealized to have strong adhesion. Four concrete-steel specimens which are connected by stud connector or reinforcement connectors are compared and analyzed From the comparison, it was shown that the connection between concrete and steel could be predicted by using the modeling technique used in this paper.

  • In domestic, irregular walls such as T, L, H and Box shapes are considered as rectangular wall in the design of bearing wall apartment building. The strengths of walls, therefore, can be underestimated in case of using the current design process. Irregular walls are connected to each other as rigid joint so that part of the load can be resisted by the wall perpendicular to the load direction. This resistance can be caused by the effective width of perpendicular wall. This additional resistance by the perpendicular wall increases the strength of structural walls. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effective widths of flanged walls with different aspect ratios by using FEM analyses. the results from finite element method are compared with effective flange widths of some code provisions.

  • A simple numerical modelling technique is proposed for estimating the shear stress distribution in beams of framed tube structures with multiple internal tubes. The structures are analysed using a continuum approach in which each tube is individually modelled by a tube beam that accounts for the flexural and shear deformations, as well as the shear lag effects. The method idealises the discrete tubes-in-tube structures as an assemblage of equivalent multiple beams, each composed of orthotropic plate panels. The numerical analysis of shear stress is based on the elastic theory in conjunction with the minimum potential energy principle. By simplifying assumptions regarding the form of strain distributions in external and internal tubes, the shear stress distributions are expressed in terms of a series of linear functions of the second moments of area of the structures and the corresponding geometric and material properties, as well as the applied loads. The simplicity and accuracy of the proposed method are demonstrated through the solutions of three numerical examples.

  • An entity-based integrated design model can be used to organize and represent information and activities involved in design. The model involves a number of product and process entities. Product entities describe design information, and process entities describe design activities. The relationships among entities Includes organizational, interaction, and sequence relationships. The paper focuses interaction relationships among design information. The interaction relationships can be represented as constraints. Types of constraints includes demand constraints, dependency constraints, and interaction constraints. The paper describes dependency and Interaction constraints.   • Most recent seismic design codes include Response Modification Factor(RMF) for determining equivalent lateral forces. The RMF is used to reduce the linear elastic design spectrum to account for the energy dissipation capacity, overstrength and damping of the structure. In this study the RMF is defined as the ratio of the absolute maximum linear elastic base shear to the absolute maximum nonlinear base shear of a structure subject to the same earthquake accelerogram. This study investigates the effect of hysteretic model, as well as target ductility ratio and natural period on duct based RMF using nonlinear dynamic analyses of the SDOF systems. Special emphasis is given to the effects of the hysteretic characteristics such as strength deterioration and stiffness degradation. Results indicate that RMFs are dependent on ductility, period and hysteretic model.

  • Most of tall apartment buildings constructed in our county are wall-type R/C structures composed of hear walls and slabs. It is necessary to evaluate of hysteretic properties of shear walls in wall-type R/C structures which resist lateral loads as well as axial loads. In this study, first to evaluate the wall's hysteretic behavior nonlinear analyses with IDARC 4.0 are performed for eight specimens subjected to horizontal load reversals. As a result of nonlinear analyses of specimens we can obtain three parameters which determined the hysteretic parameters such as stiffness degrading, strength deterioration and inching behavior respectively. With this three parameters, strength and deformation capacity of 5, 10, 20-story shear wall of apartment building is estimated from the results of push-over analysis.

  • The seismic performance of structural walls subjected to the cyclic lateral loads are influenced by various factors, like sectional shape, aspect ratio, reinforcement ratio, arrangement of reinforcement, and axial load ratio etc. In this research, reinforced concrete structural walls with the T-shaped cross section were selected. The seismic performance of T-shaped wall was affected by the many (actors because T-shaped wall is irregular wall composed to two rectangular walls. Especially the seismic performance of T-shaped wall varies with the flange condition and the various factors including the flange condition were determined. Therefore, the objective of this study is to understand the factors to improve seismic performance of RC T-shaded tv using sectional analysis.
