  • There are various studies about Internet addiction in psychological or social point of view. In this study, teaching plans are introduced using e-learning project-based learning for elementary school students. These teaching plans are applied to the Cyber home study system.

  • In this paper, we analyzed and suggested an educational strategy and features for project-based learning in smart learning environment. Smart learning environment is different of e-learning environment, therefore the educational strategy for smart learning is needed. In this paper, we conducted project-based learning for elementary school students in smart learning environment, and we analyzed the difference between a normal project-based learning and a project based learning in smart learning environment and suggested the educational strategy and the considerations through questionnaire, interview, and observation, Furthermore, we figured out factors that affected educational satisfaction of student. As a result, students thought that there is difference of smart project-based learning in some factors: technology and devices, software, and participation for learning. Also, we found main factors to affect educational satisfaction are two factors: technology and devices, and always-on.

  • Although the e-learning system is being introduced in elementary and secondary education, incorporating it into the regular curriculum is difficult. Other problems include the lack of sessions and connection to regular courses in realistically applying project-based learning in the regular school curriculum. Therefore. this study established, applied, and analyzed the blended learning strategy to resolve such issues. Specifically, a theoretical investigation on the concept of blended learning and IT-oriented, project-based learning was conducted. The theme for learning based on integrated courses was also selected, and the 5-stage project-based teaching and learning strategy, concretized. The concretization strategy involved discussion, role division, and alternative evaluation strategy. The class progressed in formats of on-class online, on-class offline and off-class online. As a result, students experienced inconvenience since the project only lasted for a short period of time. Nonetheless, they responded positively to the effect of project-based learning in general. This study was able to suggest the possibility of applying e learning in regular school curriculum and propose the direction for digital and learner oriented teaching.

  • Whether the engineering department of universities employs ideal usage of e-learning or not needs to be investigated as many engineering departments diversify the use of the e-learning elements for educational purpose. Applying the teaching and learning methods and characteristics would lead to better strategies which are applied to development of contents and deployment of the e-learning courses. This study examines the characteristics and approaches of the usage of e-learning elements used by some instructors who use multimedia contents in offline teaching and learning environment. The results of this study shows that the e-learning elements assist the face-to-face course and the interactions are manifested in the classroom rather than in online setting. Lecture, hands-on-practice, simulation, and PBL(Problem-based learning) are turned out to be the major teaching and learning methods. This study signifies the need for use of various teaching and learning methods by the instructors and provision of PBL environment.

  • 연구의 목적은 이러닝 학습환경에서 학습자들의 학습 참여를 촉진할 수 있는 시각적 스캐폴딩을 개발하고 그것이 학습참여, 개별학습, 팀프로젝트학습에 미치는 교육적 효과를 분석하고자 한다. 시각적 스캐폴딩에는 개별 참여도, 팀 참여도, 팀활동에 대한 개인 기여도, 팀간 상호작용 정도가 표상되도록 설계하였다. 시각적 스캐폴딩의 교육적 효과는 실험연구를 통해 분석되었다. 연구결과 이 연구를 통해 개발된 시각적 스캐폴딩은 학습참여도 및 학습성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • Open source has an amazing spread with the advent of smartphones. Open-source Moodle in e-learning areas are free of LMS (Learning Management System) and the most widely used worldwide, except for the black board commercial programs. One reason is well designed to support collaborative learning and interaction based on constructivist principles, which is the core principle of e-learning in particular that the theoretical basis of educational technology has a high educational effectiveness and benefits. This study examines the operational practices of collaborative learning using open source learning management system Moodle program. It introduces specific information to support the user of the collaborative learning. It looks at the advantages and singularity of collaborative learning in e-learning through examples shown. The purpose of this study is the importance of the relationship between learners and the importance of self-learning of collaborative learning through collaborative learning in a knowledge repository of Moodle. In addition, collaborative learning outcomes are is based on the motivation of learners and playfulness.

  • This study intends to present essential models for collaborative learning in e-learning environment as well as to analyze learning behavior elements appearing in collaborative learning activities. In order to achieve goal of the study, the researchers analyzed existing cooperative learning models for face-to-face classroom, collaborative activity models based on instructional theory, and the structures and activities elements of learning community and collaborative activity models focusing on e-learning environment. As a result of the study, the researchers produced a generalizable collaborative learning model for e-learning which include general collaborative learning model, and further analyzed specific learning behaviors performed by learners while they proceed in this model based learning processes. The adequacy of this model and reliability of learning behavior elements were tested through experts' review meetings. The research result, suggesting generalizable collaborative learning model as well as learning behaviors elements which might occur within e-learning based collaborative learning, might work as a foundational model for software infrastructure and e-learning solution business. Moreover, its value might be maximized if its being used for enhancing learning content interoperability and reuse as well as for establishing international standardization for collaborative technology.

Team Project Activity and Satisfaction in Business Education (경영학 수업에서 팀 프로젝트활동과 수업만족에 관한 연구)

  • Since 2010, the universities in Korea have been faced severe difficulties on the selection of students and on the delivery of high quality education services, as the number of students is reduced and the college entrance rate is declined. To solve these problems, the universities have introduced the various and professional education services such as team-based projects, case study, e-learning, action learning, etc. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of team-based project learning on the student's satisfaction in business education. The 4 factors(team cohesiveness, teamwork, team performance and goal achievement) are measured by using questionnaire survey and data are collected from 134 students(34 teams) for 4 subjects. The results show that the structure of team cohesiveness${\rightarrow}$teamwork${\rightarrow}$student's satisfaction is statistically significant, and that team performance and goal achievement are not significant. The student's satisfaction in team-based project learning would highly be related with team cohesiveness.

  • The undergraduate structure based on flip learning should be a necessary course to cultivate value creation capability based on students' problem solving capability through the change of university education in the fourth industrial revolution era. Introduction and spread of Flipping Learning combining project-based learning with MOOC is requied. As the introduction and spread of AI-based learning consulting (E-Advisor), which is becoming increasingly advanced, the transition to "personalized education" that meets the 4th Industrial Revolution should be made.

  • As e-learning is recognized in new education form, Learning Management System that manage general activity of learning to maximize effect of education is being developed actively. Usually, Learning Management System includes course registration and learning as well as learner's learning recording and tracking, evaluation in online. But, most systems is lacking a tool that learners can collaborate with companion learners, and planning learning and set valuation basis as leading. In this paper, we can expect effective collaborative learning activities because can make debate and team project smooth by suggesting collaborative learning module that can drive voluntary participation such as group formation, learning plan, mutually estimation as leading to learner in Learning Management System of blended learning base that support online and offline environment both.
