조선조 초기에는 중국의 옛 농서에서 필요한 것만 골라 이두문자로 토를 달아 인쇄 배포하여 백성들이 농본에 힘쓰도록 했다. 그 후 세종은 우리나라 최초의 우리 풍토에 맞는 농서 "농사직설"을 1429년 발간 배포했으며 1483년엔 강희맹이 "금양잡록"이라는 농서를 발간하는 등 계속해서 발간된 농서를 바탕으로 우리나라 농업기술은 발전되어 왔다.

The use of 'Idumunja' for programs is inevitable before Unicode came out. However, even now that Unicode has been established as an international standard in both name and reality, there has been an insistence that the use of Hangeul identifiers should be avoided. This study surveyed the students for the reasons why they prefer to use English identifiers and for the notations that can substitute the function of English capital letters in using Hangeul identifiers. Then, we discussed the vanity of argument that the use of English identifiers is a global trend, and proposed two notations for the use of Korean identifiers. In order to improve the productivity of software, programmer's job satisfaction, and the ease of maintenance, the use of Hangeul identifiers should become rapidly common.

문자에의한 화상정보탐색 인터페이스는 정보로서 화상이 갖는 독특한 특성과 탐색어로서 문자가 갖는 제약점 때문에 이용자의 요구를 충분히 만족시키지못하고 있다. 이에대한 대안으로서 아이콘에의한 화상정보탐색기법을 시도하였고 아이콘인터페이스의 설계원칙과 방법을 고찰하였다.

Unicode Han ideograph character set differed from the our principle of the phonetic value ordering in that it followed the principle of KangXi radical-stroke ordering of the characters. Therefore, information system should support ideograph search on precise analysis of materials which consist of korean character (hangul) and ideograph character (hanja). History Information system has been maintaining Hanja(Chinese Character) to Hangul Dictionary, Terminology Dictionary for composition, borrowing, non-ideographic principles, Variant Forms Dictionary, and Recently discovered Chinese Characters List.

It is an important factor to distinguish the kind of the character for increasing recognition rate before the character recognition in the document recognition system composed of the multi-font and multi-letters. All the letters of each country have a various unique characteristic in the each composition. In this paper, we used the stroke density as a method to distinguish the letter, and it has been adopted only Korean and English character. Input data is processed by the normalization to adopt multi-font document. Proposed method has been proved by the results of experiment the fact that the distinction probability of the Korean and English is more than 90%.

기존의 전화기 자판은 여러 번의 키 누름에 의해 입력해야 하는 숨겨진 자음과 모음의 배열 때문에 문자 입력에 많은 불편이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 보다 쉬운 한글 입력을 위해서 휴대용 전화기의 키패드(Keypad)에 대한 분산형 한글 자판 배열과 그 자판 배열을 이용해서 쉽게 한글 문자를 입력할 수 있는 사용자 중심의 대화형 방법을 제시한다. 모든 단자음과 단모음이 키에 나타나 보이도록 중복 할당시키고 입력하고자 하는 글자를 구성하는 자소를 필기순서에 따라 해당키를 한번씩만 눌러서 입력할 수 있도록 했다. 또한 복자음이나 복모음의 입력을 글자의 필기 순서와 동일하게 입력하도록 하여 사용자의 문자 입력에 대한 부담이 최소화 되도록 했다. 모의실험을 통하여 기존의 방식보다 입력에 필요한 키 동작의 횟수가 줄었음을 확인했다.

Since the discovery of the inscriptions engraved with the "Chinese characters of Empress Wu(則天文字)" at 251 and 256-1, Seonjin-ri, Sacheon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do in 2003, researchers from the Gyeongnam Institute of Cultural Properties, Kwak Seung-Hoon, and Kim Chang-Gyeom have attempted to read and interpret the inscriptions. However, there are still different theories as to the origin of the "Chinese characters of Empress Wu" appearing in the inscriptions and the use of Idu(吏讀)-type notation. This study aims to clarify, this inscription was erected by the king of Silla in the late 7th and mid-8th centuries to commemorate his participation in the Sacheon and Jinju patrols and Buddhist activities, and it is revealed that the main character of the inscription is likely to be King Seongdeok who has visited southern countries. In addition, in the case of "上了言", which has been interpreted as a human name, it should be understood as an Idu-type notation or a 變體漢文 because of the use of the proposition 了, and it should be interpreted as a character that means the end of a specific act. Although it is not a religious text like 『Mugujeonggwangdaedaranigyeong (The Great Dharani Sutra)』, the reason why the "Chinese characters of Empress Wu(則天文字)" was used is that in the process of accepting the Huayan school, the royal family of Silla came into contact with the Buddhist scriptures of the period of the Empress Wu, which is closely related to the rise of the Huayan school in the Middle Ages, and it appears to have learned and used in this process.

We report the new method for speaker recognition. Until now, many researchers have used HMM (Hidden Markov Model) with cepstral coefficient or neural network for speaker recognition. Here, we introduce the method of speaker recognition using eigenspace. This method can reduce the training and recognition time of speaker recognition system. In proposed method, we use the low rank model of the speech eigenspace. In experiment, we obtain good recognition result.
