A Study on Personas Models for Car Navigation Developing (자동차 내비게이션 개발을 위한 페르소나 모델 연구)

  • This research has studied developing the persona model based on alan cooper's user oriented design which is newly in the limelight in the field of product design process. As developing the persona model, In-depth interview and FGI(focus group interview) has been conducted for extracting car navigation user group's motivation and using attribute. Based on research, three different car navigation user group were divided-low using & understanding the function group, medium using & well understanding the function group, heavy using & well understanding the function group. This research yielded the foundation for setting the persona model and this persona gives the key factor for producing the user oriented user Interface design after all.

  • During the years 2016 to 2020, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries embarked on a strategic initiative to develop a comprehensive Korean e-navigation system, which encompassed the establishment of an 'Long Term Evolution for Maritime (LTE-M).' The primary objectives were to proactively align with international navigation standards and enhance maritime safety for small vessels, particularly fishing boats. However, limitations were identified in the utilization of this network, primarily its constrained application for specific purposes. In response to these limitations, this study delves into user-centric investigations through surveys and interviews, with the goal of expanding the horizon of network utilization. User requirements emerged as the result of study, emphasizing the need for broader network applications, a wider range of target users, diverse network utilization methods, and regulatory streamlining. The user-driven insights gleaned from this study hold the potential to inform and shape future legislative measures, fostering more versatile and inclusive LTE-M network utilization for enhanced maritime safety.

Extraction of Landmarks for Pedestrian Navigation System (보행자 내비게이션 시스템을 위한 랜드마크 추출 방법)

  • This study is to extract landmark buildings for pedestrian navigation from the existing spatial data sets automatically. At first, we defined candidates for landmark based on sight of pedestrian, then extracted final landmark by evaluating attributes of each candidate. The attribute is evaluated with relative or absolute criteria depending on the nature of each attribute. Landmarks extracted through the proposed method are compared to existing landmarks for vehicle and assessment of the validity and the applicability is performed. As a result, extracted Landmarks are expected to help guiding pedestrian effectively.

  • We designed and implemented an automatic update system of 네비게이션 contents. Currently car users are updating map contents of their 네비게이션 system by using SD memory card. In the implemented system, map contents are downloaded via WI-FI internet access while served in a gas station. To prevent free rider at gas stations, we adopted authentication mechanism based on MAC address.

  • 종래(從來)의 내비게이션시스템은 주로 선박(船舶)을 대상(對象)으로 이용되어왔으나, 최근(最近)에는 각종(各種) 이동(移動)로보트 및 자동차(自動車)에 대한 적용사례(適用事例)가 증가(增加)하고 있다. 내비게이션시스템은 기계적(機械的)인 이동(移動)시스템뿐만 아니라, 이동(移動)이라는 행동(行動)을 취하는 인간(人間)시스템 즉, 시각(視覺) 부자유자(不自由者를) 대상(對象)으로 적용(適用)될 수 있다. 종래(從來)의 기계적(機械的)인 맹인용(盲人用) 가이딩시스템으로서 맹도견(盲導犬)로보트가 있으나 계단(階段)등의 복잡(複雜)한 환경하(環境下에)서는 안내(案內)가 불가능(不可能)한 점과 맹인(盲人)의 의사(意思)가 반영(反映)되기 어렵다는 점 등의 많은 문제점(問題點)을 안고 있다. 현실적(現實的)으로 요구(要求)되는 안내(案內)시스템은, 단지 환경(環境)에 관한 각종정보(各種情報)를 제공(提供)하고 의사결정(意思決定)과 행동(行動)은 맹인(盲人)이 실시(實施)하는 시스템의 형태(形態)이다. 본논문(本論文)에서는, 맹인용(盲人用) 내비게이션시스템의 구축(構築)을 목표(目標)로 하는 중간과제(中間課題)로서, 화상(畵像)을 이용(利用)한 언어적(言語的) 가이드시스템을 제안(提案)한다. 당해(當該)시스템 구축(構築)에 있어서 중요(重要)한 과제(課題)는, 주어진 환경(環境)에 관한 화상정보(畵像情報)를 언어(言語)로 변환(變換)시키는 일이다 본연구(本硏究)에서는, 가이드를 위한 언어지원(言語指元) 생성(生成)에, 정성적(定性的), 정량적(定量的)인 속성(屬性)을 가지고 언어적(言語的) 표현(表現)에 유효(有效)한 퍼지이론(理論)을 이용(利用)한다. 구체적(具體的)인 일례(一例)로서, 공원(公園)에서 벤치까지 맹인(盲人)을 가이드하는 상황(狀況)을 설정하고 언어지원(言語指元)을 생성(生成)하는 알고리즘을 제안(提案)한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 시각장애인을 위한 교통시설 앱 서비스를 제안한다. 이 서비스는 시각장애인이 편리하게 사용하고 안전하게 교통수단을 이용할 수 있는 음성지원 경로 알림이 탑재되어 있는 내비게이션 앱이다. 스마트 디바이스 기기만 있으면 쉽게 설치가 가능하며, 이를 통해 시각장애인에게 경로 이탈에 대한 두려움을 줄이고 음성지원 경로 알림 서비스를 제공해 안전하게 교통수단을 이용할 수 있다. 50개국 이상 언어지원 블록체인을 이용한 구조 A-GPS, T MAP, 음성을 사용 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션을 통하여 문제점 해소와 더 나아가 시각장애인의 독립적인 이동 문화 형성을 제공한다.

  • 최근 이동통신 기술의 발전과 소형화된 무선 기기의 보급으로 위치 기반 서비스(Location-Based Service)의 이용이 보편화되고 있다. 위치 정보를 이용하기 위해서는 이동하고 있는 위치 정보를 일정한 주기마다 저장해야 하는데, 모바일 환경에서는 저장 공간의 제약 때문에 위치 정보를 짧은 주기로 저장한다면 정보의 정확도를 높일 수 있지만, 저장할 수 있는 정보의 양이 적어 장시간동안 위치 기반 서비스를 이용하는 데 불편함이 있을 수 있다. 이러한 이유 때문에 적은 저장 공간을 활용하면서 정보의 정확도를 높일 수 있는 압축 기법이 필요하다. 연속적인 위치 정보, 즉 좌표로 구성된 위치 정보들의 집합인 내비게이션 데이터를 압축하기에 적절한 공정 데이터 알고리즘들이 있는데, 이 알고리즘을 평가 및 비교 분석할 수 있는 성능 평가 도구인 NDCAAT(Navigation Data Compression Algorithm Assessment Tool)를 설계한다. NDCAAT는 GPS 및 네트워크 장비를 통해 위치 정보를 얻고, 이를 여러 압축 알고리즘을 적용하여 압축 알고리즘의 비교, 분석 및 성능평가를 하는 도구이다.

Development and Evaluation of a System to Determine Position and Attitudes using In-Vehivle Seonsors (차량 내부 센서를 이용한 위치·자세 결정 시스템 구축 및 평가)

  • GPS based car navigation systems show significant problems in such environment as a tunnel, a road surrounded by high buildings. In this study, we thus propose a method to determine positions and attitudes using only in-vehicle sensory data without a GPS. To check the feasibility of this method, we constructed a system to acquire in-vehicle sensory data and reference data simultaneously. We acquired test data using this system, estimated the trajectory based on the proposed method and evaluated the accuracy of both the sensory data and the trajectory. The speed and angular velocities provided by the in-vehicle sensors include 1.1 km/h and 0.8 deg/s RMS errors, respectively. The estimated trajectory using these data shows 20.8 m RMS errors for a 15 minute drive. In future, if we further combine additional sensors such as a camera and a GPS, we can achieve a high accurate navigation system at a low cost without an expensive high-grade external IMU.

  • The latest several studies show that Wiki is a very efficient tools for collaborative learning in the distributed environments. Even though Wiki supports efficient knowledge sharing between group members, there are still some problems to be solved for collaborative learning. Since the structure of group contents becomes more complex and the links between pages are dynamically changed, each member of group has difficulties to perceive the changed contents and links on group pages. We designed the adaptive navigation system to guide individual browsing paths of each member through the calculating of friendship and the state of pages. At first we developed the relation model between member and each pages by the historical log that stored the change of pages and the activity of members, and then we implemented the adaptive navigation system using the model. Experimental results show that this adaptive system is very effective to share the group knowledge and to promote collaborative learning activities.

  • This paper presents the matching method of reflectors for localization of laser navigation. The laser navigation is a device that measures distance and angle of reflector. The conventional major matching using the laser navigation is method that moves position of measured reflectors to position of installed reflectors and than rotate moved reflectors. However, it is difficult to use the industry because it has high computational complexity and high errors. To solve those problem, The proposed matching is method that create position of measured reflectors to assume that the position of installed reflectors is position of AGV and than rotate the position of installed reflectors. For experiment, we used AGV which was designed by ourselves, and compared positioning accuracy when AGV moves according to varying steering angle and driving speed.
