A Study on the Effect of Information about Risk on Decision Making (위험에 대한 정보의 제공이 의사결정에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigates the effect of information about risk on investment decision making. The model was constructed with two independent variables and two dependant variables. The first independent variable deals with whether information about risk is provided or not. The meaning of information about risk is the degree of uncertainty for investment decision making. The other independent variable involves attitude toward risk, such as the degree of tolerance for risk. Two dependant variables are concerned with the effect on investment decision making, such as the degree of riskiness of decision making and decision confidence, respectively. This study deals with the investment decision in options on stock indices. The findings of this study are as follows. The more the degree of tolerance for risk, the more the degree of decision confidence. This means that risk-taker has more desire for achievement than risk-avoider has. And the message alerting risk of investment decision making takes little effect on investment decision making.

  • 소비자의 집단 구성원에 대한 자아지각은 소비자 의사결정에 어떠한 영향을 미칠까? 집단소비자 상호간에 영향을 미치는 의사결정 상황이나 소비자 개인적 의사결정상황 등 의사결정 상황에 따라 다르게 영향을 미칠까? 본 연구는 소비자가 집단의식을 인식할 때 개인적 차원과 집단적 차원에서 행해지는 의사결정이 어떻게 이루어지는지를 검증하고, 이때, 소비자의 위험회피성향에 따라 소비자 의사결정이 어떻게 조절되는가를 2 가지 실험을 통해 밝히고자 하였다. 미국 오레곤 주립대학교의 아시아계 학생들을 대상으로 2 가지 실험을 실시한 결과, 집단의식을 지각한 소비자는 집단관련 의사결정은 물론 개인관련 의사결정에서도 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 위험회피성향의 조절효과에 대한 실험결과는 집단의식을 지각한 소비자와 집단의식을 지각하지 않는 개인적 소비자 모두 처벌에 관한 상황에서 형평성 선호와 협상적 대안을 선택하는 것으로 나타나 집단의식지각의 의사결정에 대한 위험회피성향의 조절효과는 부분적으로 나타났다.

고등학생 또래상담 프로그램이 의사소통과 사회적 효능감에 미치는 효과

  • 본 연구는 고등학생의 의사소통이 사회적 효능감에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 또래상담 프로그램을 경험한 실험집단은 통제집단보다 의사소통에서 통계적으로 유의미한 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 또래상담 프로그램을 경험한 실험집단은 통제집단보다 사회적 효능감에서 통계적으로 유의미한 효과가 있었다. 따라서 또래상담 프로그램이 고등학생의 의사소통과 사회적 효능감에 긍정적인 방향으로 영향을 미친다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 이로 인하여 또래상담 프로그램은 고등학생들에게 유익한 프로그램이라 여겨지며 학교에서 적극적으로 이 프로그램이 활용되어야 한다고 본다.

A case study on the effect of communication training program on nurse's communication ability, emotional intelligence (EQ), self - esteem and interpersonal ability (의사소통 훈련 프로그램이 간호사의 의사소통능력, 감성지능(EQ), 자존감 및 대인관계능력에 미치는 효과에 대한 사례연구)

  • This study was a non-equivalence-based Quasi experimental study comparing the difference in communication ability, emotional intelligence (EQ), self-esteem, and interpersonal abilities between an experimental group with communication training and a non-control group. The subjects of the study were nurses working for D university hospital located in C city and comprised an experimental group of 21 people and a control group of 21 people. From April to May 2017, the experimental group took communication training programs, which were designed to improve communication capacity, emotional intelligence, self-esteem, and interpersonal ability for a total of four sessions (for 2 hours a week), and pre-post examination was conducted for the validity of the study. For data analysis, the SPSS for Windows 23 was used for the mean and standard deviation of pre-post tests, and U-test of the independent sample Mann-Whitney and the Wilcoxon code order test of the corresponding sample were carried out. The study results indicate that, compared with the control group, the experimental group showed communication capacity (Z=-3.361, p<.05), emotional intelligence (Z=-2.209, p<.05), self-esteem (Z=-1.633, p<.05), and interpersonal relationship (Z=-2.577, p<.05). After the communication training program, scores of communication capacity, emotional intelligence (EQ), self-esteem, and interpersonal competence of the experimental group increased significantly, and all hypotheses were supported. These results suggest that nurses' use of communication training experience in performing nursing work in a clinical setting would improve communication skills, emotional intelligence (EQ), self-esteem, and interpersonal skills and provide therapeutic communication and effective nursing, thereby enhancing patients' satisfaction and contributing to the improvement of nursing quality.

  • The purpose of this study is twofold: (i) to develop a teaching and learning plan and practical performance assessment tools for the improvement of teenager-parent communication and relationships as well as explore their effects on the communication in the everyday family life; and (ii) to find the underlying problems of teenager- parent communication through conversation analysis and to provide a improved dialogue model. We provided the experimental group with a performance task of communication training between teenagers and their parents in the real family situation while the control group practiced communication skills in a learning situation. However for both classes, before and after performance tasks were equally provided. The experimental group exhibited a longer conversation time with their parents, better communication skills, and higher degrees of relational satisfaction than the control group. Conversation analysis revealed that the experimental group reduced the use of blocking techniques in the teenager-parent conversations more than the control group, and all so raised the frequency of functional communications more than the control group. In both areas of communication in the experimental group was significantly improved, Most notably, a problem-solving case through no-lose conflict resolution methods was effective, succeeding by 70% in the e experimental group and 43.3% in the control group. Parents use blocking techniques like admonition, lecturing, blaming. sarcastic remarking, ordering and so forth, while teenagers use dispute, avoidance, blaming, and teasing in this order. The communication problems during the conversation process, teenagers' evasive and rebellious way of speaking instigates adverse communication responses from parents, so their conversation tends to unfold as ambiguous evasion opposed to: inquiring or evasion by short answers vs. ordering-preaching, or disputing vs. criticizing-making sarcastic, disputing vs. disputing-teaching, and criticizing vs. criticizing.

장주기 샘풀링을 갖는 자율무인잠수정의 의사 슬라이딩모드 제어

  • 본 논문은 AUV의 수직면 운동제어를 수행하기 위하여 의사 슬라이딩 모드 제어기를 이용한 모델링 기법과 제어기 설계법에 관한 것으로서, 샘플링 간격이 길어지는 경우에도 시스템의 강인성이 확보되며 심도 제어가 안정적으로 수행되는 실용성을 실험과 수치 해석을 통하여 검증하였다. 제어기는 참고문헌에서 제안한 방법을 이용하였으며, 한국기계연구원 선박해양공학연구센터(KRISO)에서 개발한 VORAM호를 제어 대상 AUV로 선정하였다. PMM 시험으로 얻어진 운동 계수를 이용하여 수치 해석을 수행하였으며, KRISO의 장수조에서 실험을 수행하였다. 수치 해석과 실험 결과로부터 샘플링이 길어짐에 따라 의사 슬라이딩 모드 제어기는 연속계에 대한 슬라이딩 모드 제어기에서 발생하는 과도한 채터링 및 불안정성을 보이지 않았으며, 시스템의 안정성이 확보되고 불확실성에 대하여 강인한 제어 성능을 보였다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 수치 해석과 실험 결과를 근거로 의사 슬라이딩 모드 제어기의 설계를 위한 제어 변수의 선정 기준을 제시하였다.

Agent-Based Decision-Supporting System for Taguchi Experiment Planning (에이전트기반 다구찌 실험계획 의사결정지원시스템)

  • This paper deals with an agent-based decision-supporting system for Taguchi experiment planning. Among the four major parts of Taguchi experiment, the planning phase includes the most important decision-making issues such as determination of experiment objectives, quality characteristics, and control factors. The planning phase, however, has not been paid proper attention by experiment designers. In this research, an agent-based decision-supporting system for Taguchi experiment planning has been developed to facilitate the planning tasks of experiment designer. The decision-supporting system is composed of two agent-based mechanisms. The first employs an Internet agent that collects the domain knowledge from knowledge providers who may be distributed in remote places. Another agent then visualizes the collected knowledge and reports it to the experiment designer. Engineers who would normally have difficulties in collaborating because of limitations on their time or because they are in different places can easily work together in the same experiment team and brainstorm to make good decisions. The second agent-based mechanism offers context-sensitive advice generated by another intelligent agent during the experiment planning process. it prevents the experiment designer from making improper decisions, which will increase the feasibility of the experiment and minimize the unnecessary expense of time and resources.

  • This study aims at checking up influences imposed on mathematics learning abilities in communication teaching through small group leaning for the sixth grade pupils of elementary schools. Results obtained through the study are as follow: The communication teaching through small group cooperative learning showed an affirmative reaction in terms of mathematics learning achievement degree and mathematical tendency. However, the pupils of the lower group showed a meager effect in terms of mathematics learning achievement degree. It means that such an effect is required to a sustained teaching for a long time by teachers.

  • This research aims to strengthen the ethical decision-making capability of nursing students, and involves 82 fourth-year undergraduate nursing students in a nonequivalent control group pre-post quasi experimental research design from March 4 to June 3, 2013. Experimental group took a discussion-based class and control group took a traditional lecture-based class and we identified the differences in ethical knowledge, class satisfaction and ethical values between the two groups. Experimental group had higher scores for ethical knowledge after the class. There was no significant change in ethical values after the class in the two groups. The experimental group achieved significantly higher scores for the comprehension of class contents and practical application within the class satisfaction criteria. So we propose to use this model as an effect teaching method to apply ethical principles in nursing practice.
