This study describes the semantic theoretic interpretation through the extensive use of semantic metaphors for intensive web interface with information and the metaphoric value of metaphors for interface design. Common factors that influence web design are empirical establishment and verification for generating web symbols and these are have important elemental perspectives that are used to assess the usefulness and key elements of the site. In addition, the structure of the screen has begun to change dynamically from the application of web technological functions, and the media functions have become important to make web standards when implementing visual structuring from the perspective of semiotic. Instead of using a technical expression approach to examine semiotic, a semiotic approach is applied to create aesthetic codes through the human-computer interface in terms of semiotic in a variety of natural and universal fields. Based on this, it is used as means of communication to convey the intended meaning to users so as to highlight the importance of the usability issues and metaphors user interface.

This paper proposes an effective method to create logically consistent and structured requirement model by applying consistency control approach of the formal method to the use-case modeling. This method integrates the multi-perspective scattered requirement segments that may overlap and conflict each other into a structured requirement model. The model structure can be analyzed based on context goal and concerned area overlap analysis. The model consistency can be achieved by using specification overlap-based consistency checking method as an integration vehicle. An experimental application to case study shows that the Proposed method can successfully identify requirement overlaps and inconsistency. It can also transfer multi-viewpoint requirement segments into a consistently integrated use-case model to clarify software behaviors and functionality This method helps users to enhance capability to identify specification inconsistency in the use-case modeling at the early stage of software engineering development. The proposed approach can also facilitate communication between users and developers to ensure customer satisfaction.

According to the need of various wireless contents, many attempts to develop the wireless internet for the educational goal are being made. This study focuses on informing the parents of their children in the school by wireless internet. This development of wireless contents can be one of the most important means to communicate iか the parents who have no time to contact with the information of their children's school life. The examined are the parents who have their children as the third school-year in the middle school. The experiment was be done by having the parents contact with the information once a month they want to know about their children. This study can make it possible to inform the parents of the children's fun, attitude, aptitude, performance test result, school calendar and entrance to the high school. As the result of this study, the wireless contents can help the students lead to active attendance and can help the parents understand the students' school life. The wireless contents can help the teachers have more chance to observe the students and positive view about them.

People who have hearing difficulties use sign language as the most important communication method, and they can broaden personal relations and manage their everyday lives without inconvenience through sign language. But they suffer from absence of interpolation between normal people and people who have hearing difficulties in increasing video chatting or video communication services by recent growth of internet communication. In this paper, we proposed a sign language recognition method in order to solve such a problem. In the proposed method, regions of two hands are extracted by tracking of two hands using RGB, YUV and HSI color information from a sign language image acquired from a video camera and by removing noise in the segmented images. The extracted regions of two hands are teamed and recognized by ART2 algorithm that is robust for noise and damage. In the experiment by the proposed method and images of finger number from 1 to 10, we verified the proposed method recognize the numbers efficiently.

The speech recognition service is used as an ancillary means of communication by converting and visualizing the speaker's voice into text to the hearing impaired persons. However, in open environments such as classrooms and conference rooms it is difficult to provide speech recognition service to many hearing impaired persons. For this, a method is needed to efficiently provide it according to the surrounding environment. In this paper, we propose a system that recognizes the speaker's voice and transmits the converted text to many hearing impaired persons as messages. The proposed system uses the MQTT protocol to deliver messages to many users at the same time. The end-to-end delay was measured to confirm the service delay of the proposed system according to the QoS level setting of the MQTT protocol. As a result of the measurement, the delay between the most reliable Qos level 2 and 0 is 111ms, confirming that it does not have a great influence on conversation recognition.

The social network services have spread rapidly with new issues in terms of the security. The purpose of this study is to longitudinally verify the influence of relationships among online security, social network service, and smartphone expense. The analyses were conducted on panel data of SNS users from 2015 to 2017 based on the SEM methodologies. The results indicated that anxiety of online security had an effect on the SNS usage. In addition, The results showed that anxiety of online security and SNS usage had a significant influence on the smartphone expenses. This study could provide useful guidelines for researchers and company managers, and an opportunity to develop an understanding of social network trends.

A dialog system becomes a new way of communication between human and computer. The dialog system takes human voice as an input, and gives a proper response in voice or perform an action. Although there are several well-known products of dialog system (e.g., Amazon Echo, Naver Wave), they commonly suffer from a problem of out-of-domain utterances. If it poorly detects out-of-domain utterances, then it will significantly harm the user satisfactory. There have been some studies aimed at solving this problem, but it is still necessary to study about this intensively. In this paper, we give an overview of the previous studies of out-of-domain detection in terms of three point of view: dataset, feature, and method. As there were relatively smaller studies of this topic due to the lack of datasets, we believe that the most important next research step is to construct and share a large dataset for dialog system, and thereafter try state-of-the-art techniques upon the dataset.

With the continuous progress and development of the social economy, the importance of commodity packaging is increasingly manifested. It has become an important form of communication between businesses and consumers, and an important means of competition between businesses. The research scope of the thesis: First, through literature investigation, analyze the function of packaging design and consumers' buying attitude, and analyze the name, color, logo, illustration, etc. for general chocolate packaging and travel souvenir chocolate packaging. Research method: Through questionnaire survey, according to consumers' purchasing attitude and personal value of package design, we have in-depth understanding of consumers' purchasing power and package design's influence on purchasing conditions and research. According to the results of this study, first, from the perspective of general chocolate packaging and travel souvenir chocolate packaging to consumer consumption phenomena, general chocolate is more popular. Second, when consumers buy products, the taste of chocolate is more important than product packaging design. Third, in each product group, consumers value their own value when buying chocolate products. Fourth, due to the two important attributes of packaging design and taste, ordinary chocolate has a higher purchase intention than travel souvenir chocolate.

Alan Goldman criticizes "means-end analyses" in that they define the concept of sexuality in terms of extrinsic values to sexuality, such as reproduction, love, and communication. And he claims that sexual desire in itself is only "desire for contact with another person's body and for the pleasure which such contact produces." I suggest that his analysis of sexuality also fails to offer the exact definition of sexuality, and that it also produces the hierarchial conception of sexuality just as those analyses that he refuses do. I agree to Christopher Hamilton's suggestion of Wittgenstein's idea of "family resemblance" and suggest a new sexual ethics focusing on the sexual autonomy. New sexual ethics demands that each person should formulate, reflect, evaluate, and revise his or her sexuality according to his or her own conception of sexuality and teleology. And I claim that new sexual ethics does not formulate distinct domain, but belongs to general ethics which general behaviors are judged through.

The health checkup conducted by the National Health Insurance Corporation is aimed at early detection and prevention of diseases. After the screening, you will receive a result sheet, which is a means for smooth communication between the medical staff and the patient. So far, design improvements have been made to the results. However, it is still pointed out that patients have low understanding and cognitive problems. Therefore, in this study, the opinions of the actual users, the medical examiners, and the designers are investigated to improve the design and to propose convenient checkup result sheets. The research method is to investigate the problems of information design research related to the results of the health examination and the user interviews on the results of the current health examination, and to improve the design of the existing results. In addition, we conducted a questionnaire survey on the results of the existing health checkups and the results of the improved checkups by the researchers, and finally designed them by referring to the results. As a result, I got a positive answer that many of the problems pointed out in the existing results were solved.
