Big Data-based Sensor Data Processing and Analysis for IoT Environment (IoT 환경을 위한 빅데이터 기반 센서 데이터 처리 및 분석)

  • The data generated in the IoT environment is very diverse. Especially, the development of the fourth industrial revolution has made it possible to increase the number of fixed and unstructured data generated in manufacturing facilities such as Smart Factory. With Big Data related solutions, it is possible to collect, store, process, analyze and visualize various large volumes of data quickly and accurately. Therefore, in this paper, we will directly generate data using Raspberry Pi used in IoT environment, and analyze using various Big Data solutions. Collected by using an Sqoop solution collected and stored in the database to the HDFS, and the process is to process the data by using the solutions available Hive parallel processing is associated with Hadoop. Finally, the analysis and visualization of the processed data via the R programming will be used universally to end verification.

A Study on the Characteristics and Consultation Request Type of Inpatients Referred for Depressive Symptoms (우울 증상으로 의뢰된 입원환자의 임상적 특징 및 자문 의뢰 형태에 관한 연구)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of depressive patients who admitted to general hospital. We examined the clinical characteristics of patients who were referred to the Department of Psychiatry as depressive symptoms, according to the type of consultation request, and comparing 'with re-consultation' and 'without re-consultation' groups. Methods : We performed a retrospective chart review of 4,966 inpatients who were referred to the Department of Psychiatry from August 2005 to December 2011. Results : For about 6 years, among the inpatients referred for psychiatric consultation, a total of 647 patients were referred for depressive symptoms, accounting for 13.82% of the total consultations. The average age of depressive patients was 58.6 years, which was higher than the average of 56.4 years of overall patients. Among the depressive patients, 275 patients were included in 'with re-consultation' group and there was no statistically significant difference when comparing 'with re-consultation' group and 'without re-consultation' group. However, there was a difference in the tendency of the two groups in the type of consultation request. 'With re-consultation' group was in the order of frequency of consultation type 3-2-1, whereas the 'without re-consultation' group was in the order of frequency of consultation type 2-3-1. Conclusions : The group of inpatients who were referred for depressive symptoms in general hospital showed the largest proportion of the group of patients referred to the Department of Psychiatry. 'With re-consultation' group had a higher rate of re-consultation due to the occurrence of new symptoms after hospitalization compared to 'without re-consultation' group. Therefore, doctors in each department and psychiatrists should pay attention to the depressive symptoms of inpatients and actively discuss treatment plans to improve the quality of medical services, identify risk factors, and make efforts to intervene early if necessary.

A Dynamical Load Balancing Method for Data Streaming and User Request in WebRTC Environment (WebRTC 환경에 데이터 스트리밍 및 사용자 요청에 따른 동적로드 밸런싱 방법)

  • WebRTC has quickly grown to be the world's advanced real-time communication in several platforms such as web and mobile. In spite of the advantage, the current technology in WebRTC does not handle a big-streaming efficiently between peers and a large amount request of users on the Signaling server. Therefore, in this paper, we put our work to handle the problem by delivering the flow of data with dynamical load balancing algorithms. We analyze the request source users and direct those streaming requests to a load balancing component. More specifically, the component determines an amount of the requested resource and available resource on the response server, then it delivers streaming data to the requesting user parallel or alternately. To show how the method works, we firstly demonstrate the load-balancing algorithm by using a network simulation tool OPNET, then, we seek to implement the method into an Ubuntu server. In addition, we compare the result of our work and the original implementation of WebRTC, it shows that the method performs efficiently and dynamically than the origin.

Professional Job Perception, Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Westerm Doctors and Oriental Doctors Practicing at Local Clinic (개원의사와 개원한의사의 전문직업성, 직무스트레스 및 직업만족도)

  • Objectives : This study was conducted in order to investigate the professionalism, job stress and job satisfaction in western and oriental doctors in Korea. Methods : The authors conducted a survey using a self-administered questionnaire, conducted between August and September, 2001. The study subjects were 457 western doctors and 161 oriental doctors practicing at local clinics in Daegu City. Results : For the professionalism scale, the score for belief in service to the public of western doctors was significantly higher than that of oriental doctors (p<0.05) whereas the scores for sense of calling to the field and feeling of autonomy were higher in oriental doctors (p<0.01). For the job stress scale, the scores for work factor, and clinical responsibility/decision factor of western doctors were significantly higher than those of oriental doctors (p<0.01). Of the western doctors, 59.7% expressed satisfaction with their job as a doctor, 69.5% responded that the role of a doctor was appropriate to their aptitude, and 61.8% answered that they wouldn't consider other kinds of job even if offered. In case of oriental doctors, these responses were 83.1%, 82.5%, and 82.3%, respectively. Conclusions : The job stress scores of western doctors were higher than those of oriental doctors, but the job satisfaction was lower. The reasons for the above results are not clear. Further studies are required to understand the characteristics of job stress and job satisfaction in doctors.

Perception of City Attractiveness and Internal Migration in Korea (도시매력도와 인구이동)

  • 이 연구는 우리나라에 있어서의 도시로의 인구이동과 도시매력도와의 관계를 <인지-행태>론적인 관점에서 설명하려데 그 목적이 있다. Julian Wolpert (1965)의 "장소효용접근방법"으로 체계화된 이 이론의 요지는 사람들이 이주대상지를 결정함에 있어서 그 대상지의 객과적인 매력도 보다는 자신들이 갖고 있는 정보를 토대로 주관적으로 판단한 이른바 "인지된 매력도"에 좌우된다는 점이다. 이 연구에서는 우리나라의 자료를 토대로 Wolpert의 가설을 검증하여 보았다. 인구이동의 관점에서 본 도시매력도의 구성요소를 (1) 소득수준, (2) 취업기회, (3) 교육기회, (4) 주거사정, (5) 도시시설의 질, (6) 이주시 도움을 받을 수 있는 친지의 유무, (7) 사회적 성장기회 등 7개 항목으로 분류하여 우리나라의 도시들을 객관적인 매력도와 주관적인 매력도로 계량화하였다. 객관적인 매력도는 기존의 통계자료를 지표화하여 측정하였고, 주관적인 매력도는 충청북도 주민들을 대상으로 1983년 현재 인구 10만 이상의 36개 도시에 대한 매력도 순위 설문조사를 통해 계량화하였다. 이들 매력도를 독립변수로 하고 충북으로부터 각 도시로 전출된 인구를 종속변수로 하여 통계적 분석을 한 결과 객관적인 매력도는 인구이동 현상을 55-58% 설명하였으나, 주관적인 매력도는 약 95%정도 설명하는 것으로 나타나 인구이동 의사결정이 주민들에게 인지된 주관적 매력도에 크게 의존하고 있음이 판명되었다. 따라서 학교교육이나 대중매체를 이용한 장기적인 <인포메이션 프로그램>을 개발하여 농촌생활이나 중소도시에서의 생활의 장점을 널리 계몽하여 도시의 주관적 매력도와 객관적 매력도간의 간격을 좁혀주는 정책도 매우 유용한 대도시 인구분석정책대안의 하나가 될수 있을 것이다.정책대안의 하나가 될수 있을 것이다.다. 고로 본고에서는 주사제의 처방설계및 제조(방법, 공정)에 관하여 개괄적으로 논하고자 한다.약화되어 저적면적빈도분포가 정상분포 단계에 도달되기 전에 바로 platykurtic분포로 되는 것이 아니고 leptokurtic 분포적 단계를 거친다고 본다때 시간의 경과를 따라 생성되어지는 Cyclodextrin의 함량의 변화를 추적하여 4시간전후에서 최고량이 되는 것을 볼 수 있으며 동시에 포위화합물을 형성시킬수 있을때는 그 생성률이 큰 영향을 이르킬수 있는 것을 지적할 수 있다.한 특성을 보여 식품제조, 식육연화 등 식품산업 분야에서의 활용가능성이 높을 것으로 보이며, 나아가 단백질이 갖는 식품학적 기능성을 높이는 데에도 사용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.를 한 후 저온 냉장차를 이용하여 유통한다면 관행 유통 구조보다 고품질의 포도를 유통시킬 수 있는 것으로 사료되며 앞으로는 완숙된 고 당도(12.0~15.0Bx)$^{\circ}$ 포도를 수확 한 즉시 예냉 처리하고 저온 유통한다면 보다 신선한 과일을 소비자에게 전달 할 수 있을 것이다.갈변물질이 생성되었다. 이와 같은 결과로 볼 때, BAAG의 처리는 BAAC의 경우보다 가격은 저렴하면서도 항균력은 우수한 천연 항균복합제재로써 농산물 식품원료에 적용하여 선도유지 기간을 연장할 수 있는 효과를 기대할 수 있었다. 과일 등의 포장제로서 이용할 가능성을 확인하였다.로 [-wh] 겹의문사는 복수 의미를 지닐 수 없 다. 그러면 단수 의미는 어떻게 생성되는가\ulcorner 본 논문에서는 표면적 형태에도 불구하고 [-wh]의미의 겹의문사는 병렬적 관계의 합성어가 아니라 내부구조를 지니지 않은 단순한 단어(minimal $X^{0}$ elements)로 가정한다. 즉, [+wh] 의미의 겹의문사는

Professional Job Perception, Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Doctors Practicing in Local Clinic in Daegu City (개원의사들의 전문직업성과 직무스트레스가 직업만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • Objective : This study was conducted in order to investigate professional job perception, job stress and job satisfaction in doctors. Method : The authors conducted a survey using a self-administered questionnaire, conducted between August and September,2001. The study subjects were 457 doctors practicing at local clinics in Daegu City. Results : For the professionalism scale, the score for 'sense of calling to field' and 'feeling of autonomy' were relatively high, Age, working hours per day, and perception of socioeconomic status significantly influenced the professionalism scale scores (p<0.01). For the job stress scale, the scores for 'clinical responsibility/decision' factor were the highest of all the surveyed factors. Working hours per day significantly influenced the job stress scores (p<0.01). To investigate the overall relationship between the variables, the authors conducted a linear structural equation model analysis. The equation was statistically appropriate and a good fit. The job stress, and the professionalism factors, respectively influenced job satisfaction negatively and positively (T>2.0). The working hours per day and status perception also influenced their job satisfaction (T>2.0). Conclusion : To promote the iob satisfaction of doctors, the development of coping tools and other intervention methods are needed to increase doctor's professional job perception and reduce their job stress. Further studies are required to understand the characteristics of job satisfaction and for its promotion with doctors.

A Study on the Digital Filter Design for Radio Astronomy Using FPGA (FPGA를 이용한 전파천문용 디지털 필터 설계에 관한 기본연구)

  • In this paper, we would like to propose the design of symmetric digital filter core in order to use in the radio astronomy. The function of FIR filter core would be designed by VHDL code required at the Data Acquisition System (DAS) of Korean VLBI Network (KVN) based on the FPGA chip of Vertex-4 SX55 model of Xilinx company. The designed digital filter has the symmetric structure to increase the effectiveness of system by sharing the digital filter coefficient. The SFFU(Symmetric FIR Filter Unit) use the parallel processing method to perform the data processing efficiently by using the constrained system clock. In this paper, therefore, for the effective design of SFFU, the Unified Synthesis software ISE Foundation and Core Generator which has excellent GUI environment were used to overall IP core synthesis and experiments. Through the synthesis results of digital filter core, we verified the resource usage is less than 40% such as Slice LUT and achieved the maximum operation frequency is more than 260MHz. We also confirmed the SFFU would be well operated without error according to the SFFU simulation result using the Modelsim 6.1a of Mentor Graphics Company. To verify the function of SFFU, we carried out the additional simulation experiments using the pseudo signal to the Matlab software. From the comparison experimental results of simulation and the designed digital FIR filter, we confirmed the FIR filter was well performed with filter's basic function. So we verified the effectiveness of the designed FIR digital filter with symmetric structure using FPGA and VHDL.

  • The generalized Hamming weight is one of the important parameters of the linear code. It determines the performance of the code when the linear codes are applied to a cryptographic system. In addition, when the block code is decoded by soft decision using the lattice diagram, it becomes a measure for evaluating the state complexity required for the implementation. In particular, a bit-parallel multiplier on finite fields based on trinomials have been studied. Cellular automata(CA) has superior randomness over LFSR due to its ability to update its state simultaneously by local interaction. In this paper, we deal with the efficient synthesis of the pseudo random number generator, which is one of the important factors in the design of effective cryptosystem. We analyze the property of the characteristic polynomial of the simple 90/150 transition rule block, and propose a synthesis algorithm of the reversible 90/150 CA corresponding to the trinomials $x^2^n+x^{2^n-1}+1$($n{\geq}2$) and the 90/150 reversible CA(RCA) corresponding to the maximum weight polynomial with $2^n$ degree by using this rule block.

  • Recently, manufacturers have been struggling to efficiently use production equipment as their production methods become more sophisticated and complex. Typical factors hindering the efficiency of the manufacturing process include setup cost due to job change. Especially, in the process of using expensive production equipment such as semiconductor / LCD process, efficient use of equipment is very important. Balancing the tradeoff between meeting the deadline and minimizing setup cost incurred by changes of work type is crucial planning task. In this study, we developed a scheduling model to achieve the goal of minimizing the duedate and setup costs by using reinforcement learning in parallel machines with duedate and work preparation costs. The proposed model is a Deep Q-Network (DQN) scheduling model and is a reinforcement learning-based model. To validate the effectiveness of our proposed model, we compared it against the heuristic model and DNN(deep neural network) based model. It was confirmed that our proposed DQN method causes less due date violation and setup costs than the benchmark methods.

  • Recently, data-driven decision-making technology has become a key technology leading the data industry, and machine learning technology for this requires high-quality training datasets. However, real-world data contains missing values for various reasons, which degrades the performance of prediction models learned from the poor training data. Therefore, in order to build a high-performance model from real-world datasets, many studies on automatically imputing missing values in initial training data have been actively conducted. Many of conventional machine learning-based imputation techniques for handling missing data involve very time-consuming and cumbersome work because they are applied only to numeric type of columns or create individual predictive models for each columns. Therefore, this paper proposes a new data imputation technique called 'Denoising Self-Attention Network (DSAN)', which can be applied to mixed-type dataset containing both numerical and categorical columns. DSAN can learn robust feature expression vectors by combining self-attention and denoising techniques, and can automatically interpolate multiple missing variables in parallel through multi-task learning. To verify the validity of the proposed technique, data imputation experiments has been performed after arbitrarily generating missing values for several mixed-type training data. Then we show the validity of the proposed technique by comparing the performance of the binary classification models trained on imputed data together with the errors between the original and imputed values.
