The aim of the study was to explore the mediating effect of meaning in life on the relationship between meaning making about process of achieving long term goals and happiness. 180 college students completed the open questionnaire about personal long life goal, also rated the scales of meaning making, meaning in life and subjective well-being. The correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and sobel test were examined. The results as followed. First, meaning making, meaning in life and happiness were positive correlated. Second, the relationship between meaning making about process achieving long term goals and happiness was completely mediated by meaning in life. The finding suggested that meaning making and meaning in life can help to enhance happiness in college students. Also the results supported that meaning in life was important factor that affects subjective well-being in Koran college students. Finally, the limitations were suggested for future research.

본 논문은 세종 전자사전을 구성하고 있는 하위사전의 하나인 세종 용언전자사전에서 사용되는 의미역 기술체계 및 그 목록을 소개하는 논문이다. 본 논문은 2부로 구성되어 있다. 1부에서는 의미역이란 개념을 정의하고 의미역 기술의 의의를 순수언어학적 차원과 NLP의 응용 기존의 비판에 관하여 우리의 응용 차원에서 설명한다. 아울러 1부에서는 의미역 개념에 대한 기존의 비판에 관하여 우리의 입장을 밝힌다. 제 2부는 본론으로서 세종 용언전자사전에서 사용되는 의미여 기술체계 및 목록 그리고 그것이 지니는 의의를 소개하는 부분이다. 제 2부에서는 우선 세종 용언전자 사전이 의미역 기술 및 목록 확정을 위해서 채택하고 있는 원칙을 밝힌다. 그 다음에는 현재 세종 용언전자사전에서 사용하고 있는 의미역 목록을 각 의미역의 정의와 함께 소개한다. 끝으로 세종 용언전자사전의 틀 내에서 이루어지고 있는 의미역 기술이 갖는 의의와 현 의미역 기술체계가 지니고 있는 문제점을 지적한다.

한국어의 의미 분석을 위해서 의미소가 부여된 말뭉치(Sense-Tagged Corpus)의 구축은 필수적이다. 의미 태깅은 어휘의 다의적 특성으로 인해, 형태소나 구문 태깅에서와 같은 규칙 기반의 처리가 어려웠다. 기존의 연구에서 어휘의 의미는 형태소와 구문적 제약 등의 표층상에서 파악되어 왔으며, 이는 의미 데이터 기반으로 이루어진 것이 아니었기에, 실용적인 결과를 얻기가 힘들었다. 본 연구는 한국어의 구문과 의미적 특성을 고려하고, 용언과 모어 성분간의 의존 관계 및 의미 정보를 나타내는 하위범주화사전과 어휘의 계층적 의미 관계를 나타낸 의미사전(시소러스)을 이용하여, 반자동적인 방법으로 의미소가 부여된 말뭉치의 구축을 위한 기준과 알고리즘을 논하고자 한다.

This paper examines the discussions related to image and signification through the theories of Roland Barthes. We have already been able to see through the studies of Semiotics and Anne H?nault that the denotation is distinguished from the connotation in the linguistic dimension. Through the analysis of the advertising image of Barthes, we have seen that the syntagmatic relationship can make the sense of the image objective. From this study, we also emphasized that it is possible to subjectively interpret images that deviate from the syntagmatic relationship. In addition, we examined the concepts of Studium and Punctum by Barthes. With this we have found that the definition of a personal meaning to objects has a theoretically clear position. Finally, we have been able to understand the concept of 'le sens obtus' through the article ${\ll}$ Le troisi?me sens ${\gg}$. The notion of 'sens obtus' makes it possible to realize that the objective and clear sense of object is not the one chosen primarily from the subject. By facing an object such as an image to be interpreted, the subject is placed in a situation where he is not compelled to choose a meaning but rather he chooses one of the possible senses. This makes it clear that the semantic levels provided by semiotic theories are limited to the analytic dimension.

의미기반 멀티미디어 검색을 하기 위해서는 멀티미디어 대한 의미정보가 필요하며, 이러한 의미정보에는 멀티미디어 데이터 자체보다는 멀티미디어 데이터에 대한 의미 해석이 중요하다. XML은 내용정보나 의미정보의 상호연관성을 표현하기에 적절하므로 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 정보를 구조화하여 표현하기 위한 방법으로 XML을 사용한다. 또한, 멀티미디어 정보에 따른 의미성을 부여하여 나타내기 위해 퍼지데이터 사전 적용 기술을 사용한다. 의미성을 부여하기 위해 표현되는 데이터는 거의 애매한 표현법을 많이 사용하므로, 퍼지 집합관계를 적용하여 의미 판단의 기준으로 적용한다 따라서, 인간에게 좀 더 친숙하고 편리한 검색을 가능하게 하며, 의미성을 함축한 의미기반 검색을 가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 XML을 활용하여 다양한 멀티미디어 정보를 표현하기 위한 스키마 구조와 의미성을 반영한 XQL에 의한 검색기법을 제안한다. 인터넷에서 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 웹 상품 카탈로그 이미지나 광고 이미지에 대하여 의미기반 검색을 지원할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 이러한 방법은 애매모호한 표현의 질의에 대하여 검색을 가능하게 할 뿐만 아니라, 의미성을 고려하기 때문에 검색에 대한 만족도를 증대시킬 수 있다.

본 논문은 문서내의 의미적인 관계에 기반하여, 문서의 내용을 보다 잘 추측할 수 있는 의미 인덱스 추출 및 가중치 부여 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 문서 내의 개념 추출에 있어서는 기존의 어휘 체인(lexical chains)에 관한 연구를 확장하여 적용였다. 또한, 추출된 개념에서 중요 어휘에 가중치를 부여하기 위해서, 개념 벡터 공간을 이용한 정보성(information quantity)과 정보비(information ratio)를 정의하고, 인덱스의 가중치를 측정할 수 있는 정량화 할 수 있는 척도로 제시하였다.

시맨틱 웹은 네트워크에 존재하는 자원에 의미를 부여하고 이를 컴퓨터가 자동으로 처리 할 수 있도록 설계된 차세대 지능형 웹이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 수많은 양의 문서를 대상으로 각각의 의미를 정의하기 어려울 뿐만 아니라 이미 정의된 의미를 바꾸는 데에도 문제가 있다. 또한 여러 종류의 의미를 중첩적으로 갖는 것이 힘들며, 문서 검색을 하는데 있어 전체 네트워크를 대상으로 검색해야 한다는 정에서 소모적인 면을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 문서의 의미 정의에 있어 내재된 문제점과 다의성 문제를 해결하기 위해, 문서와 대응할 수 있는 의미를 구조화된 형식에 따라 분리하여 이를 통합적으로 관리 할 수 있는 SR(Semantic Repository)을 설계 하고자 한다. 여기서 SR은 각 문서에 대응되는 의미와 각 문서들 사이의 독립된 의미관계만을 나타내므로 검색에 따른 부하 감소를 기대할 수 있다.

This paper presents vulnerability identification method based on meaning which is making use of the concept of atomic vulnerability. Also, we are making use of decomposition and specialization processes which were used in DEVS/SES to get identifiers. This vulnerability representation method is useful for managing and removing vulnerability in organized way. It is helpful to make a relation between vulnerability assessing and intrusion detection rules in lower level. The relation enables security manager to response more quickly and conveniently. Especially, this paper shows a mapping between Nessus plugins and Snort rules using meaning based vulnerability identification method and lists usages based on three goals that security officer keeps in mind about vulnerability. The contribution of this work is in suggestion of meaning based vulnerability identification method and showing the cases of its usage for the rule integration of vulnerability assessment and intrusion detection.

원자력 발전소 안전계통이나 의료 시스템과 같은 실시간 내장형 시스템의 설계는 그 안전성을 분석하기 위한 정형 명세가 요구된다. 이러한 실시간 내장형 시스템이 명세를 위해 본 논문에서는 Statecharts를 확장하여 시간적 명세 및 분석에 용이하고 하드웨어/소프트웨어 통합 설계에 유리한 언어를 제시한다. 그리고 그 언어의 의미론을 기술하고, SyncCharts라는 정형명세 언어로 그 행위의 의미론을 부여한다. 이렇게 하여 기존의 Statecharts를 실시간 내장형 시스템에 적합하도록 수정하고 그 의미론을 부여한다.
