Each font has its own unique characteristics, thus every font relays a different feeling. The proper selection and usage of fonts helps us further understand the contents they deliver. Use of fonts which varies depending on one's habits or experience, expands the meaning of contents. Hence, users should pick up the most appropriate fontto comply with meanings, gender, age, objects, and cultural environment. The Proper selection of fonts have been emphasized by various researches but currently, there are not much studies undertaken within the domain of fonts. Furthermore, there are no definite standards or guidelines to proper font selection or their usage. This study delves into changes of font preference according to meaningful sentences and meaningless sentences with the former comprising in positive and negative sentences. The authors of this research hope that this study will help users to understand the necessity for application of different fonts in tune with each meaning , guideline for the application methods, provision of instruction on developing fonts to font makers.

본 논문에서는 최근 관심이 증가하고 있는 축구 경기 MPEG 비디오에서 정면이 변하는 부분을 검출하고 동일한 의미의 장면들을 분류하는 기술을 제안한다. MPEG 비디오에서 디코딩 과정을 거치지 않고 직접 에지(edge) 정보와 색상 분포 정보를 추출하여 적은 연산량으로 장면 전환 검출의 정확성을 높이고, 검출된 결과를 기반으로 샷(shot)을 특징 지울 수 있는 특정 색상들과 에지 정보를 이용해서 축구 MPEG 비디오내의 장면들을 내용적으로 분류한다. 제안한 방법은 카메라 움직임으로 발생하는 글러벌 모션의 변화에 대해서도 효과적으로 장면 전환을 검출하고 의미적으로 유사한 샷들에 대하여 장면 분류를 수행하는 결과를 확인하였다.

컴퓨터 바둑에 대한 기존연구에서는 형세를 판단하거나 행마를 하기 위해 게임이론에 입각한 인공지능적 알고리즘을 주로 사용하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 틀에서 벗어나 각 착점의 의미를 언어학적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 바둑 용어를 의미에 따라 구분하여 정리하였고 분류된 용어에 대하여 세분화된 의미특성을 부여하였다. 정리한 용어를 활용하여 각 착점이 반상에서 가지는 역학관계를 표현하고 그 의미를 해석할 수 있게 하였다. 이를 토대로 각 착점의 가치를 수치화할 수도 있게 되었다. 이러한 분석과 분류는 바둑 한판의 내용을 이야기로 보는데 있어서 그 기초를 제공한다.

Historically the value of the secondary Home Economics subject matter has been justified with the extrinsic aim to satisfy the needs of the individual and family and of the society. The purpose of this study is to investigate the educational and philosophical significance of the knowledge in Home Economics education through reasoning out its intrinsic aim. From the point of discipline-based curriculum, Home Economics as 'the structure of knowledge' constitutes the curriculum of the secondary Home Economics subject matter and contributes to understanding the family life intellectually with its unique perspective. When students understand these theoretical contents, they will internalize the core idea of Home Economics so that their cognitive perspective on family life is developed or widened. With this cognitive perspective, they are able to discover the aspect of family life from their daily life, to interpret and judge every situation properly. It is the presupposition of socially expected practical problem solving that makes Home Economics education intrinsically meaningful. In conclusion, the secondary Home Economics curriculum needs to be reinterpreted or reorganized as the structure of knowledge, not as fragmentary informations or facts, through which the broad cognitive perspective on family life is developed and Home Economist's mode of thinking is transmitted.

인터넷과 디지털기기의 발달로 인해 이미지 데이터가 기하급수적으로 증가함에 따라 이미지 데이터의 의미적인 자동분류를 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 기존의 이미지 분류방법은 내용기반 분류와 주석자에 의한 직접 분류 방법이 있다. 하지만 분류 기준이 명확하지 않고, 이미지가 내포하고 있는 정확한 의미 별로 분류가 이루어져 있지 않았다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이미지의 주석간 개념적인 관계를 분석하고 이미지에 의미를 대표할 수 있는 키워드를 추출하여 의미적이고 효율적인 분류 방법을 제안한다.

This study analyzed picture book "Who Pooped on my Head?" by using semiotic theories and considered involved meaning of the text. Because characteristics of children's development and picture book should be in harmony, it is necessary to understand the text in-depth. As a result of analysis, the text helps psychological stability and contains the meaning and value that guides children into social value or norm. Analyzing the text by using Greimas' Semiotic square, the meaning that following bowel movement standard is socially established behavior was involved. It seems that giving up instinct and accepting standard are process to extend thought. In conclusion, this study confirmed that the meaning and value that support cognitive and emotional development was contained in the picture book, "Who Pooped on my Head?".

The question answering system shows the answers that are input by other users for user's question. In spite of many researches to try to enhance the satisfaction level of answers for user question, there is a essential limitation. So, the question answering system provides users with the method of recommendation of another questions that can satisfy user's intention with high probability as an auxiliary function. The method using the fuzzy relational product operator was proposed for recommending the questions that can includes largely the contents of the user's question. The fuzzy relational product operator is composed of the Kleene-Dienes operator to measure the implication degree by contents between two questions. However, Kleene-Dienes operator is not fit to be the right operator for finding a question answers pair that semantically includes a user question, because it was not designed for the purpose of finding the degree of semantic inclusion between two documents. We present a novel fuzzy implication operator that is designed for the purpose of finding question answer pairs by considering implication relation. The new operator calculates a degree that the question semantically implies the other question. We show the experimental results that the probability that users are satisfied with the searched results is increased when the proposed operator is used for recommending of question answering system.

웹의 활용이 보편화되면서 웹을 통한 자료의 검색이 증가하고 있으나, 웹상의 방대한 자료 중에서 학습자가 꼭 필요한 학습자료를 찾는 것은 쉬운 일이 아니다. 검색엔진을 이용하면 원하는 정보를 어느 정도 찾을 수 있으나 사용자 의존적인 검색엔진의 특성상 결과가 만족스럽지 못한 경우도 있으며 연관이 없는 정보를 필터링하기 위해 최종적인 내용을 찾기까지 많은 시간을 낭비하는 경우가 많다. 이에 털 연구에서는 자원의 의미정보를 구조화하여 정보의 효율적인 검색, 통합, 재사용을 가능하도록 하는 시맨틱 웹 (Semantic Web)기술을 활용하여 초등학교 학습자료에 적합한 온톨로지 (Ontology)를 구축하여 이를 기반으로 초등학교 학습자료를 검색할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 검색시스템의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자료와 연관된 사용자 질의어를 보다 상세하게 입력받는다. 둘째, 사용자 질의어를 바탕으로 온톨로지에 질의하여 검색결과를 얻는다. 셋째, 검색하고자 하는 내용의 의미를 분석하여 요구된 의미에 적합한 자료만을 검색결과로 제시한다.

여러 가지 확산방식 가운데 2.4GHz 대역에서 블루투스, 무선 LAN 등에 적용되고 있는 FHSS(Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) 방식을 사용하는 무선기기들에 대하여 미국과 유럽 그리고 일본에서 정하고 있는 기술기준 또는 표준에 관하여 개괄적으로 살펴보았다. 지역별로 정하고 있는 기술기준과 연계하여 각각의 기술기준 또는 표준의 항목들이 의미하는 바를 측정의 관점에서 기술하였으며, 다양한 측정 방법들이 갖는 기술적인 내용에 대하여도 포괄적으로 분석하였다. 마지막으로 최근 국내에서도 FHSS 방식을 사용하는 무선기기들에 대한 기술기준이 개정 고시됨에 따라 국내의 기술기준의 개정 배경과 의미를 외국 기술기준의 내용과 비교하여 설명하였으며, 그 측정 방법에 내포된 의미와 차이점들을 분석하였다.

"Euibangyoochui" is a great medical encyclopedia composed of 91 symptoms and signs of diseases which classified 150 kinds of reference books. It consisted mainly of fifty thousands of herbal prescriptions and therapeutics but it deals with other treatments like diet therapy, precautions, acupuncture and moxibustion, physical and breathing exercises as well. Unlike other medical references, this book made up these treatments as independent chapters. We tried to catch the meanings and characteristics of each chapters.
