Effect of the Configuration of Contact Type Textile Electrode on the Performance of Heart Activity Signal Acquisition for Smart Healthcare (스마트 헬스케어를 위한 심장활동 신호 검출용 접촉식 직물전극의 구조가 센싱 성능에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of contact type textile electrode structure on heart activity signal acquisition for smart healthcare. In this study, we devised six contact type textile electrodes whose electrode size and configuration were manipulated for measuring heart activity signals using computerized embroidery. We detected heart activity signals using a modified lead II and by attaching each textile electrode to the chest band in four healthy male subjects in a standing static posture. We measured the signals four times repeatedly for all types of electrodes. The heart activity signals were sampled at 1 kHz using a BIOPAC ECG100, and the detected original signals were filtered through a band-pass filter. To compare the performance of heart activity signal acquisition among the different structures of the textile electrodes, we conducted a qualitative analysis using signal waveform and size as parameters. In addition, we performed a quantitative analysis by calculating signal power ratio (SPR) of the heart activity signals obtained through each electrode. We analyzed differences in the performance of heart activity signal acquisition of the six electrodes by performing difference and post-hoc tests using nonparametric statistic methods on the calculated SPR. The results showed a significant difference both in terms of qualitative and quantitative aspects of heart activity signals among the tested contact type textile electrodes. Regarding the configurations of the contact type textile electrodes, the three-dimensionally inflated electrode (3DIE) was found to obtain better quality signals than the flat electrode. However, regarding the electrode size, no significant difference was found in performance of heart signal acquisition for the three electrode sizes. These results suggest that the configuration method (flat/3DIE), which is one of the two requirements of a contact type textile electrode structure for heart activity signal acquisition, has a critical effect on the performance of heart activity signal acquisition for wearable healthcare. Based on the results of this study, we plan to develop a smart clothing technology that can monitor high-quality heart activity without time and space constraints by implementing a clothing platform integrated with the textile electrode and developing a performance improvement plan.

Suitable clothing recommendation system by size and skin color (의류 사이즈별 및 피부톤에 기반을 둔 의류 추천 시스템)

  • Existing clothing recommendation systems remain at the level of showing appropriate photos when a user selects a type of clothing he or she likes after entering his or her own body size or body size. When a user purchases clothing using such recommendation systems, there are many cases in which it does not fit or does not fit the user's body size. In this study, to solve these problems of existing clothing recommendation systems, a system was implemented in which the user receives not only size but also skin tone and recommends clothing suitable for the user's body size as well as skin tone. In this system, clothing size information obtained through web crawling was periodically stored in a database for eight male tops to recommend clothing, and the entire pixel of the clothing image was analyzed to extract color text values. In order to confirm the performance of this system, a survey was conducted on 100 male college students, and the satisfaction level was 70%. Most of the reasons for not being satisfied are that the recommended clothing is limited, so it is judged that it is necessary to expand the target clothing in the future.

  • The competitiveness of the domestic cosmetics market will improve more rapidly when efficient market segmentation is secured, qualitative information about each of the segmented markets is gathered, and adequate marketing strategies to meet the demands of each segmented markets is established. Therefore, continuous studies are needed to secure qualitative information for market segmentation. In order to find out whether the domestic cosmetics market could be segmented according to consumers' shopping orientation, the present study analyzed cosmetics purchasing behavior, complaint behavior, and demographic characteristics of each consumer group classified according to their shopping orientation. The study was implemented by a normative-descriptive survey method using a questionnaire. Three groups of consumers were identified according to their shopping orientation: price-oriented group, information-oriented group, and brand-oriented group. It was confirmed that the groups, classified according to shopping orientation, have significantly different demographic, purchasing, and complaint behavior. Therefore, shopping orientation should be carefully considered in the segmentation of the cosmetics market.

  • 최근 국내외에서 첨단 기능성 섬유에 대한 소비자들의 관심이 높아지면서 다양한 분야에서 기능성 소재들이 개발되고 있다. 특히 기능성 스포츠웨어 시장에서는 계절의 경계를 넘어 야외 활동 중에 사용할 수 있는 제품에 대한 요구가 증가되고 있는데, 날씨가 매우 덥고 햇살이 뜨거운 것에서부터, 얼음처럼 차갑고 추운 것까지 가지각색 인 경우가 있을 수 있다. 이러한 변화무쌍한 날씨에 쾌적한 활동을 하기 위해서는 외부 온도변화에 대응하여 몸을 보호하고 자연환경에 맞설 수 있는 의복의 필요성이 부각되고 있다. 본 연구에서 개발하고자 하는 지능형 체온조절 섬유는 정적상태에서는 보온성과 적외선을 방출을 통한 자가 발열기능을 부여하고, 동적상태에서는 태양열 증폭기능과 운동량에 따른 흡습발열의 기능을 통하여 자연환경과 의복환경의 변화에 대응할 수 있는 스포츠웨어 제품이다. 따라서 보온성이 우수한 PP, acrylate 원사 등을 이용하여 복합 방적사 설계 및 생산을 최적화였다. 또한 흡습발열 성능이 향상된 섬유구조체를 설계하여 개발 원사 구성에 따라 보온 발열 기능성 부여 방법을 달리하여 최적의 성능을 이끌어내는 제품을 개발하고자 하였다.

  • Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) can provide visibility and efficiency throughout the entire supply chain in fashion apparel and footwear. The technical analysis of RFID performance is necessarily required to create a sealess omni-channel service using customer experience. Especially, several tagged-item performance specifications, for example read range and multi-read rate, strongly depend on the attached material and real-operating environment. This paper suggests minimum performance requirements for RFID tags embedded inside a pair of shoes to negotiate tagged-item performance between retailers and suppliers.

  • A wearable embroidery 'ㅂ' character shape UHF RFID tag antenna has been designed using conductive electro-thread. After testing characteristics of various electro-threads, the embroidery tag, with a T-matching structure, has been designed on a cloth with 200D(denier) electro-thread which performs electrically better. The embroidery tag on a piece of fabric or clothes made with the flexible electro-thread is a wearable tag and possible to be recognized by an RFID system. The conductivity of different deniers of electro-threads has been measured. The measured conductivity has been used for simulation and fabrication to have accurate simulation results. To verify the characteristics of the tag antenna, the return loss and reading range of the fabricated embroidery electro-thread UHF RFID tag antenna have been tested. The reading range is approximately 1.52 m.

Research on the Development of Conductive Composite Yarns for Application to Textile-based Electrodes and Smartwear Circuits (스마트웨어용 텍스타일형 전극 및 배선으로의 적용을 위한 전도성 복합사 개발 연구)

  • This study aimed to research the local production of conductive composite yarn, a source material used in textile-type electrodes and circuits. The physical properties of an internationally available conductive composite yarn were analyzed. To manufacture the conductive composite yarn, we selected one type of conductive yarn with Ag-coated polyamide of 150d 1 ply, along with two types of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with circular and triangular cross-sections, both with 150d 1 ply. The conductive composite yarn samples were manufactured at 250, 500, 750, and 1000 turns per meter (TPM). For both conductive composite yarn samples manufactured from two types of PET filaments, the twist contraction rate of the sample with a triangular cross-section was stable. Among the samples, the tensile strength of the sample manufactured at 750 TPM was the highest at approximately 4.1gf/d; the overall linear resistance was approximately 5.0 Ω/cm, which is within the target range. It was confirmed that the triangular cross-section sample manufactured with 750 TPM had a similar linear resistance value to the advanced product despite the increase in the number of twists. In future studies, we plan tomanufacture samples by varying the twist conditions to derive the optimal conductive yarn suitable for smartwear and smart textile manufacturing conditions.

Changes of Shape retention and Total Appearance Value(TAV) After Fusing (접착포의 형태 보형성(shape retention)과 TAV(Total Appearance Value)의 변화)

  • The purpose of this study is 1) to analyse the bending property of the fused fabric and each component of the fused fabrics. 2) to examine the effect of fusing temperature on the bending property of the fused interlining and fused fabrics. 3) to examine the changes of B/W, 2HB/W and TAV of the fused fabrics according to the types of face fabric, interlining, fusing temperature. Five types of wool fabric, four types of shingosen fabric and four types of interlining were used for this study. The fusing condition in this study were the three types of fusing temperature of 10$0^{\circ}C$, 12$0^{\circ}C$, 14$0^{\circ}C$, the pressure of 4 kgㆍf/$cm^2$, and pressing time of 12 seconds. The results obtained from this study were as follows. 1) The bending rigidities and hysteresis of fabrics after fusing were increased. The bending behavior of fused fabrics were governed by the bending behavior of face fabric and interlinings and $\alpha$$_{B}$ values. 2) The KES standardized basic values of B/W and 2HB/W were increased after fusing. The B/Ws of fused fabrics were mainly determined by the $\alpha$$_{B}$ values of interlinings. The 2HB/Ws of fused fabrics seemed to be controlled by the fusing temperature. 3) The changes of TAVs of wool fused fabrics differed from those of shingosen fused fabrics. As the $\alpha$$_{B}$ values of fabric were larger and fusing temperature were increased, the TAVs of wool fused fabrics were smaller though those of shingosen fused fabrics were larger. 4) The TAVs of fused fabrics were highly correlated with the B/Ws of fused fabrics. In the case of wool fused fabrics, the TAVs of fused fabrics were negativly correlated with the 2HB/Ws of wool fabrics and used interlinings.nings.

A Study on the Development of Sleep Monitoring Smart Wear based on Fiber Sensor for the Management of Sleep Apnea (수면 무호흡증 관리를 위한 섬유센서 기반의 슬립 모니터링 스마트 웨어 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Sleep apnea, a medical condition associated with a variety of complications, is generally monitored by standard sleep polysomnography, which is expensive and uncomfortable. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes an unconstrained wearable monitoring system with stretch-fiber sensors that integrate with the wearer's clothing. The system allows patients to undergo examinations in a familiar environment while minimizing the occurrence of skin allergies caused by adhesive tools. As smart clothing for adult males with sleep apnea, long-sleeved T-shirts embedding fibrous sensors were developed, enabling real-time monitoring of the patients' breathing rate, oxygen saturation, and airflow as sleep apnea diagnostic indicators. The gauge factor was measured as 20.3 in sample 4. The maximum breathing intake, measured during three large breaths, was 2048 ml. the oxygen saturation was measured before and during breath-holding. The oxygen saturation change was 69.45%, showing a minimum measurable oxygen saturation of 70%. After washing the garment, the gauge factor reduced only to 18.0, confirming the durability of the proposed system. The wearable sleep apnea monitoring smart clothes are readily available in the home and can measure three indicators of sleep apnea: respiration rate, breathing flow and oxygen saturation.

동축형 분사기 분무특성 및 연소의 이론적 모델

  • 일반적인 액체추진제 로켓엔진의 연소는 분사제트의 미립화, 액적의 증발, 기상 추진제의 혼합, 화학반응 등, 일련의 물리적 과정들로 이루어지고, 여기서 특성속도 효율은 크게 분사특성 및 연소의 두 단계에서 결정되게 된다. 액체추진제 로켓엔진에 사용되는 여러 분무형태 중, 동축형 분사기에서는 액상과 기상 제트의 운동량 차에 의해 미립화가 이루어지며, 분무 액적들의 전개와 더불어 분사기 출구를 포함한 전 영역에서 연소가 발생되므로 매우 복잡한 물리적 특성들을 포함하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 기상 연료-액상 산화제의 동축형 분무연소를 JANNAF의 방법을 사용하여 수식화 하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 분무특성과 연소성능 예측을 위한 프로그램을 작성, 분사조건에 의한 분무특성과 그에 따른 연소성능을 계산하였다. 연속, 운동량, 에너지 및 혼합비 방정식의 지배방정식들을 바탕으로 기상 유동을 수식화 하였으며, 별도로 액적의 소산 및 연소과정을 모사하기 위한 별도의 수식들이 추가되었고, 이 식들을 결합하여 액적의 크기, 분포를 포함하는 액체 제트의 미립화 정도를 공간적으로 계산하였다. 미립화 모델의 검증을 위하여 계산 결과를 Reitz의 실험과 Giridharan의 모델 등과 비교하였으며 잘 일치하는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 동축형 분사기에서의 분무 특성을 예측하기 위해 액체 산소, 기체 수소를 추진제 조합으로 하는 동축형 분무 연소장에서의 제트 길이, 액적의 크기, 액체 제트의 속도를 계산하였다. 계산 결과 액체 제트의 접촉길이는 분사공의 지름이 증가할수록 웨버수가 증가되므로 짧아지는 것으로 관찰되었으며 액적의 크기도 분사공의 지름이 증가할수록 작아지는 경향을 나타내었다. 액체 제트의 속도는 처음에는 일정하게 유지되다가 운동량을 보존하기 위해 가스로부터 운동량을 받아 점차 가속되어지는 것으로 나타났다.본 규격은 키, 총장, 어깨길이, 등길이, 머리길이, 머리둘레, 진동둘레, 목둘레, 가슴둘레, 허리둘레, 배둘레, 엉덩이둘레, 앞품, 뒤품, drop치를 포함하고 있고, 각 규격에서 호칭간 치수 간격도 함께 제시하고 있다. 본 연구 결과에서 보듯, 현행 8규격의 무진복의 각 호칭간 적정 허용범위를 고려해 합리적인 치수체계를 정립한다면 치수에 대한 적합도가 상당히 증가할 뿐 아니라 생산비용도 상당히 감축할 것으로 생각된다.나타났다. 4) 호감적 서비스능력 차원에서 세 독립변수간에 유의한 3원 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타나( $F_{2,228}$=15.62, P<.001) 20대에 적합한 의복 착용시( $F_{2,228}$=3.98, P<.05)와 60대에 적합한 의복 착용시( $F_{2,228}$=16.55, P<.001) 점포유형과 격식차림간에는 유의한 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 5) 호감을 구성하는 세 요인들이 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과 호감적 인상차원은 29%(P<.001), 호감적 서비스능력차원은 6%(P<.001)의 구매의도를 설명해 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 노년 소비자에게 호감을 주는 판매원의 외모는 구매의도에 영향을 주어 실버의류산업의 이익증대와 밀접한 연관을 갖는 서비스품질의 중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.로운 단백질 EPSPS가 다른 여러 식물에 이미 존재하고 있는 단백질로서 우리가 이미 이러한 식품을 섭취할 때 이 단백질도 같이 섭취해오고 있었다는 점, 둘째. 이 단백질이 소화액 분해 실험에서 짧은 시간내에 분해가 되었다는 점, 셋째. 재조합 된 콩과 자연 콩이 성분 분석에서 차이를 나타내지 않았다는 점, 네 번째. 쥐를 통한 다양섭취 실험에서 아무런 이상 반응이 없었
