한국광산업진흥회는 지난7월6일 광주디자인센터에서 광산업-의료산업 연계 발전 세미나를 개최하였다. 이 날 행사에는 전국 각지에서 250여명이 참석하여 세계 의료산업의 동향과 전망, 그리고 광응용 전자의료기기 산업화 비전과 전략을 공유하는 유익한 시간이 되었다. 당초 예상보다 많은 인원이 참석하여 광산업과 의료산업의 융합 신산업에 대한 관심이 매우 높음을 알 수 있었으며 국내 의료산업의 발전과 광응용 산업 활성화릐 계기를 마련했다는 점에서 매우 의미있는 세미나로 평가받고 있다. 주요 내용을 소개하면 다음과 같다.

국내 병원들은 의료서비스 시장 개방을 눈앞에 두고 있다. 의료서비스의 시장 개방은 의료 공공성을 유지하면서 의료서비스의 질 향상을 기대할 수 있는 반면, 의료비의 상승과 의료의 양극화 우려를 동시에 내포하고 있다. 의료산업에서 가장 중요한 것은 물론 의료서비스의 품질이다. 그러나 이제 글로벌 경쟁에 대비해야 하는 국내 상황에서 다양한 경영전략이 필요한 때이다. 여기서는 급변하는 병원산업에서 향후 허용될 것으로 예상되는 의료기관의 다양한 광고전략 중에서 정보기술을 기반으로 하는 브랜드 커뮤니티에 관련하여 병원이 대비해야 할 활용전략을 제시한다. 여타 산업에서의 브랜드 커뮤니티 성공요인과 사례를 바탕으로 병원종사자 뿐만 아니라 의료서비스 이용자들을 위한 의료산업에서의 온라인 커뮤니티 구축에 초점을 두었으며, 본 연구에서 제시하는 병원의 브랜드 커뮤니티를 활성화하는 6가지 요소는 운영자의 역량, 프리미엄 가치의 제공, 독특한 컨셉, 보안과 확장성이 보장된 장, 오프라인 모임, 그리고 다양한 홍보루트이다.

본 연구는 대표적인 지식기반산업인 생명의료산업클러스터인 첨단의료복합단지 조성정책의 형성과정을 분석하고자 한다. 첨단의료복합단지는 미래첨단산업육성정책, 국가산업진흥정책 그리고 지역균형발전정책이 첨예하게 대립했던 첨단의료산업 발전정책과 그 산물로서 2005년부터 시작한 첨단의료복합단지의 건립과정에 대한 경과를 분석하여 그 과정, 절차 그리고 결과를 분석해 보고자 한다. 첨단의료복합단지를 둘러싼 정책형성과정에 대한 분석은 단지 하나의 이벤트나 사건으로 머물지 않고 우리나라의 미래첨단산업정책, 국가신성장동력육성정책, 및 지역균형발전정책 등과 밀접히 관련되어 있다는 데 그 의의를 두고자 한다. 분석결과 첨단 의료산업분야의 정책형성 과정은 여러 정책행위자들이 간여하였다. 특히 해당 정책형성과정은 경제발전과정에서 보여준 한국 산업정책 고유특성이 반영된 합리적 행위자로서의 정부역할이 강하게 나타났다. 아울러 분석결과 다양한 정책행위자의 역동적인 역할이 정책형성의 여러 지점에 반영되었다는 점을 조명하였다.

최근 인구의 고령화 추세 확대와 함께 건강 증진에 대한 인식고조 등으로 의료 산업에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이에 세계 각국에서는 의료산업의 중요성이 더욱 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 추세에 맞춰 산업연관표를 이용하여 의료자동화 산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석을 통해 정책적 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이에 산업연관분석을 활용하여 의료자동화 산업의 생산유발효과와 부가가치유발효과, 그리고 전후방 연쇄효과를 통하여 경제적 파급효과를 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구는 의료자동화 산업의 경제적 파급효과에 주목하여 의료 자동화 산업이 우리나라 경제에 미치는 영향 등을 최초로 분석하였으며, 다양한 파급효과 도출을 통해 정부 정책 판단의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

This study supports the introduction policy of the MSO and Profit-making corporation by reviewing, and is intend to reviewing the analysis of policy measures activation in the digital age. The Medical industry is changing at a fast pace, and it is becoming fierce, In that flow, our nation has been giving efforts to the Medical industry in its bot qualitative growth and quantitative growth. However, we are laggard in our policy to activity such as the MSO and Profit-making corporation. It is true that there exists arguing on introducing market economy into the Medical industry, but we need a sound the activity policy which can extend over those negative perspectives.

Recently, the importance of the health care industry is increasing due to the rapid changes in the population structure caused by decreasing in fertility rate and aging population. Therefore expansion of government investment in R&D of the health care industry is needed as the demand of health care is increasing. This study attempts to examine the economic impacts of national research and development for the health care industry using an inter-industry analysis. Specifically, the study investigates production-inducing effect, value added inducing effect, and employment-inducing effect of the health care industry based on demand-driven model. These analyses pay particular and close attention to the health care industry by taking it as exogenous rather than endogenous. Here we present results. First, the production-inducing effect and value added inducing effect was high in common real estate and business services and finance and insurance sector. Second, employment-inducing effect of the health care industry showed the highest levels in wholesale and retail sector, followed by the real estate and business services, agriculture sector. Third, the actual 2009 health care industry-related national R&D investment embracing on the production-inducing effect and value added inducing effect. The health care industry R&D induces the production of 4,932 billion won and the value added of 2163 billion won.

In this study, the accuracy of the orthognathic surgical guides with single-stage split path was upgraded to realize orthognathic surgical guides with two-stage split path and simulated surgery was performed to verify its accuracy. As a result, the average error distance between the simulation model and the scan model was + 0.289 / - 0.468 mm (standard deviation 0.128), which was confirmed to be within ± 0.5 mm, which is a clinically acceptable level. Also, there was no significant difference compared with the average value of + 0.313 / - 0.456 mm (average standard deviation 0.106) of the conventional single-stage split path type device. It is judged that the use of this device can contribute to the reduction of surgical time and increase in accuracy since a separate finishing operation for bone preparation is unnecessary.

Korean medical device industry has laid the foundation for full-fledged growth and development with the G7 medical engineering technology development project that started in 1995, and the medical device production in 2020 increased by 8.52 times and the export by 13.94 times, compared to those in 2001. In early years, electronic medical devices such as ultrasound imaging device contributed greatly to Korean medical industry, but top ranks in medical device production and export in Korea has shifted recently to in vitro diagnostic medical devices and dental implants. However, the share of imported medical devices in the Korean medical device market have not changed much; it still ranges in 60 to 70%, as the Korean medical device industry produces and exports mid- to low-priced medical devices, and technology-intensive and capital-intensive high-priced medical devices are mainly imported. In this paper, we compare the leading medical devices produced by major Korean companies and those by global top medical device companies to suggest strategies for the Korean medical device companies to enter the global market.

최근 평균수명이 증가와 더불어 삶의 질이 중요시하고 건강한 삶을 누리고자하는 인류의 염원은 보건의료라는 보편적 가치에 동반 상승할 수 있는 산업과의 결합이 의료관광이라는 새로운 관광시장을 형성하였다. 의료관광은 시장규모가 1억 달러 이상에 이를 것으로 예상되는 고부가가치 산업이다. 또한 외국인을 상대 의료관광은 체류기간이 길고 지출비용도 일반 관광객의 3배 이상으로 지역경제 활성화에 큰 공헌을 하는 대표적인 신 성장 동력산업으로 보고 있다. 더불어 의료관광 추세가 의료서비스를 받으면서 휴양 레저 문화활동을 함께 즐기는 방향으로 발전될 것으로 예측하고 최근 단순 치료 목적이 아닌 방향으로 선회하고 있다. 그러나 국가 정책적 산업으로서 육성에 박차를 가하고는 있으나 의료 기반시설이 열악하고 관련 규정 및 제도적 미비점이 지금의 의료관광 산업에 발맞추지 못하는 실정이다. 이는 주변 경쟁국에 비해 인식부족과 세계시장에 대한 마케팅 활동 부족 및 의료관광 상품의 다양성 부족 등과 함께 의료관광이 활성화하기 위하여 여러 가지 제약이 되는 정책적 문제점들이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현행 우리나라의 의료관광에 대한 정책적 과제를 살펴보고 이를 개선하기 위한 제도적 개선방안을 모색하고자 한다.
