A Study on Scalable PBFT Consensus Algorithm based on Blockchain Cluster (블록체인을 위한 클러스터 기반의 확장 가능한 PBFT 합의 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • Blockchain can control transactions in a decentralized way and is already being considered for manufacturing, finance, banking, logistics, and medical industries due to its advantages such as transparency, security, and flexibility. And it is predicted to have a great economic effect. However, Blockchain has a Trilemma that is difficult to simultaneously improve scalability, decentralization and security characteristics. Among them, the biggest limitation of blockchain is scalability, which is very difficult to cope with the constantly increasing number of transactions and nodes. To make the blockchain scalable, higher performance should be achieved by modifying existing consensus methods or by improving the characteristics and network efficiency that affect many ways of scaling. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a cluster-based scalable PBFT consensus algorithm called CBS-PBFT which reduces the message complexity O(n2) of PBFT to O(n), which is a representative consensus algorithm of blockchain, and the validity is verified through simulation experiments.

  • 생물체의 cDNA를 유리기판위에 고밀도로 첨착 시킨 유전자 칩과 정량적인 방법으로 개별 유전자 발현을 진단 가능한 Real- time PCR (실시간 고분자중합연쇄반응 기술) 기법은 첨단 의학분야와 신약개발 및 독성유전체 연구분야에 활발히 도입되고 있는 기술이다. 본 발표의 첫 번째 부분에서는 유전자칩 에서 얻어진 유전자 발현패턴분석에 기반한 바이오마커 선정 및 real time PCR에 의한 확증 관련 기술 과 유전자칩에서 얻어지는 수많은 데이터를 재정렬 및 다양한 분석기법과 display기술을 활용하여 광범위한 화학물질에 대한 독성효과 분석을 가능하게 해주며, 특정 독성물질에 대한 관련유전자 그룹 발견 및 독성영향에 따른 분류방법에 관한 결과를 발표할 것이다. 또한 바이오마커 활용의 하나로 박테리아세포 기반 바이오센서 제작및 세포칩 개발등에 대한 결과도 추가될 것이다. 두 번째 부분에서는 non-model organism(유전체정보가 확보되지 않은 생물체)인 송사리를 이용하여 새로운 2K 유전자칩을 개발하고, 여기서 각종 화학물질에 대하여 얻어진 수많은 유전자칩 분석 데이타를 활용하여 각각의 화학물질이 보여주는 독성효과를 매우 효과적이고 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 display기술을 개발, 적용함으로써 유전자칩 발현에 기반한 화학물질 독성 screening 및 specificity discrimination을 가능케 하는 예가 발표될 것이다. 이 연구에서 개발한 송사리 유전자칩은 간조직의 RNA를 직접 cDNA화 하는 방식을 취하고 있어 전체 송사리의 유전정보를 필요로 하지 않아 비용 및 효율에서 전체 송사리의 유전정보를 얻는 비용과 노력을 취하지 않고 간에서 발생하는 독성학적 영향 및 유전자의 발현정도를 정밀하고 효율적인 방법으로 얻어 낸다. 현재 2000여개의 cDNA유전자중 50%이상의 유전자가 17베타에스트라디올, 페놀, 노닐페놀, 비스페놀, 감마레이조사, 잔류약품중 이보프란, 다이클로펜악, 농약중의 파라???R, 돌연변이 유발물질 중의 이티비알, 금속류중의 카드뮴을 통해 발현양상과 특정 캐미칼별 발현 특이성이 조사되었고, 이들 유전자는 염기서열 분석을 통해 염기서열이 분석되었으며, 미국 NCBI의 유전자 은행과의 비교를 통해 일부유전자는 새로운 유전자로 밝혀지고 있다. 또한 이 발표에서는 소염진통제계열 의약품인 dichlofenac 이 송사리의 각종 조직에 미치는 독성영향을 Real-time PCR을 이용하여 대표적 스트레스 유전자의 발현에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석 예가 발표될 것이다.

A Development of the Integrated Total Asset Management System (통합 유가증권시스템의 개발)

  • The total asset management system is used for banks or financial institutions for the management of trusteed assets or own assets and it is divided into three systems: the front-office system, the middle-office system and the back-office system by its business areas and functionalities. This kind of asset management system is a huge and complex system handling large data and various financial products, and requires professional knowledges like accounting, financial product specific knowledge, compliance and regulations, etc. It also performs high level computation for NAV calculation and risk measurement on every day Therefore, it needs absolute stability, extendability and efficiency and should handle the frequent change of regulation and products and connectivity with outdoor institutions. In this paper, we report our successful development of such a system and discuss issues regarding its efficient system design and system construction.

  • Recently, In line with the recent trend of the fourth industrial revolution, many companies and institutions have been increasingly applying automated technologies using artificial intelligence to various tasks. Particularly, due to the government's 52-hour workweek system, companies are increasingly struggling with manpower management. Therefore, they are interested in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) for office environment automation for efficient manpower management. It is being introduced in the back-office business in credit card companies, bank, insurance. These RPA solutions require AI-based recognition technology, scripting technology, business software API-related technologies, and various solutions such as Automate One, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, and Blue Prism are provided. This paper analyzes and describes the technology of RPA solution, the market trend, and the efficiency of RPA adoption.

Evaluation of the Measurement Uncertainty from the Standard Operating Procedures(SOP) of the National Environmental Specimen Bank (국가환경시료은행 생태계 대표시료의 채취 및 분석 표준운영절차에 대한 단계별 측정불확도 평가 연구)

  • Five years have passed since the first set of environmental samples was taken in 2011 to represent various ecosystems which would help future generations lead back to the past environment. Those samples have been preserved cryogenically in the National Environmental Specimen Bank(NESB) at the National Institute of Environmental Research. Even though there is a strict regulation (SOP, standard operating procedure) that rules over the whole sampling procedure to ensure each sample to represent the sampling area, it has not been put to the test for the validation. The question needs to be answered to clear any doubts on the representativeness and the quality of the samples. In order to address the question and ensure the sampling practice set in the SOP, many steps to the measurement of the sample, that is, from sampling in the field and the chemical analysis in the lab are broken down to evaluate the uncertainty at each level. Of the 8 species currently taken for the cryogenic preservation in the NESB, pine tree samples from two different sites were selected for this study. Duplicate samples were taken from each site according to the sampling protocol followed by the duplicate analyses which were carried out for each discrete sample. The uncertainties were evaluated by Robust ANOVA; two levels of uncertainty, one is the uncertainty from the sampling practice, and the other from the analytical process, were then compiled to give the measurement uncertainty on a measured concentration of the measurand. As a result, it was confirmed that it is the sampling practice not the analytical process that accounts for the most of the measurement uncertainty. Based on the top-down approach for the measurement uncertainty, the efficient way to ensure the representativeness of the sample was to increase the quantity of each discrete sample for the making of a composite sample, than to increase the number of the discrete samples across the site. Furthermore, the cost-effective approach to enhance the confidence level on the measurement can be expected from the efforts to lower the sampling uncertainty, not the analytical uncertainty. To test the representativeness of a composite sample of a sampling area, the variance within the site should be less than the difference from duplicate sampling. For that, a criterion, ${i.e.s^2}_{geochem}$(across the site variance) <${s^2}_{samp}$(variance at the sampling location) was proposed. In light of the criterion, the two representative samples for the two study areas passed the requirement. In contrast, whenever the variance of among the sampling locations (i.e. across the site) is larger than the sampling variance, more sampling increments need to be added within the sampling area until the requirement for the representativeness is achieved.

  • 자동화 기기 분야에서 컴퓨터의 적용 및 응용은 하드웨어 발달에 따라 매우 빠르고 민감하게 반영되어왔다. 이는 컴퓨터 하드웨어의 빠른 개발 주기에 맞춰 저 가격, 고 효율성, 높은 신뢰성, 호환성 등의 장점을 가진 PC가 현대의 컴퓨터 흐름을 주도하게 되면서 자동화 산업분야 또한 이를 적용하여 왔기 때문이다. 이에 따라, 자동화 기기 분야에서는 고 가격, 긴 개발기간 등을 필요로 했던 과거와 달리 저 가격, 짧은 개발기간, 다양한 개발환경 등을 이룰 수 있었다. 또한, 생산량 증가에만 의존하던 과거와 달리 현대에 이르러서는 시스템의 최적화, 효율의 극대화, 시스템의 안정성, 운용의 편리성, 호환성 등의 개념들이 도입되고 있는 것이다. 자동화 기기를 구성하는 요인으로는 크게 시스템의 틀을 이루는 기계부분과 이를 제어하는 제어 시스템부로 나뉠 수 있다. 제어 시스템에서는 기계부분의 동작을 제어하는 동작 제어부와 이에 관한 정보를 화면에 나타내는 GUI(Graphical User Interface)부분으로 나뉘게된다. 현재에는 이를 통합하여 하나의 하드웨어에서 제어부와 GUI를 모두 담당하는 방법이 연구 진행되고 있으나, 하드웨어를 둘로 나누거나 하나로 하여도 제어부와 GUI 사이의 통신부분은 빼놓을 수 없는 요소가 된다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 시스템의 안정성을 위하여 두 시스템간에 송·수신되는 데이터를 추적할 수 있도록 하는 Emulate 기법을 구현 및 개발하고자 한다. 이는, 두 시스템간의 통신 데이터를 실시간으로 누적, 저장하여 사용자로 하여금 시스템의 운용상태를 분석할 수 있게 하였으며, 시스템 오류발생 시 Emulate 자료를 근거로 시스템의 운용상태를 파악할 수 있게 하였다.근 제한기능을 제공하며 각 클라이언트와 서버간의 실시간 연결 혹은 지연연결을 지원하는 독립적인 애플리케이션이다. 이러한 처방전달 메시징시스템을 구성하는 각 요소에 대해 정의하고 개념적 모델을 설계하고자 한다.에게 청구되며, 소비자에게 전송 되는 청구서는 사용자DB를 참조하여 사용자가 미리 정의한 원하는 형태로 변환되어 전달되며, 필요시 암호화 과정을 거치는 것이 가능해야 한다. 전송된 청구서는 전자우편의 경우, 암호해독이 가능한 전용 브라우저를 통해 열람 되며, 이는 다시 전용 브라우저를 통해 지불인증이 승인되어 청구 제시서버에게 전송된다. A Study on the Simple Design Method of Semi-Rigid Connection with Angle in Steel Structure (강구조에서 ㄱ형강을 이용한 반강접 접합의 간편 설계)

  • Recently, the demands for steel frame are increasing because of the trend and due to the demand for bigger and higher buildings. In the analysis of typical steel frame, connections are based on the idealized fixed or pinned connection. A fixed connection assumes that the relative angle of each member before deformation is the same after the transformation. Therefore, the stiffener reinforces the connection to sufficient rigidity and stability of the panel zone. In the economical aspect, however, the necessity of connection that the stiffener reinforcement has omitted is increasing due to the excessive production as well as labor costs of connection. In contrast, pinned connection is assumed that bending moments between the beams and columns do not transfer to each member. This is easy to make in the plant and the construction is simple. However, the structural efficiency is reduced in pinned connection because connection cannot transfer moments. The introduction of this semirigid process can decide efficient cross-sectional dimensions that promote ease in the course of structural erection, as performed by members in the field-a call for safety in the entire frame. Therefore, foreign countries exert efforts to study the practical behavior and the results are applied to criterion. This paper analyzes the semirigid connection of domestic steel by design specifications of AISC/LRFD and make data bank that pertain to each steel. After wards, the results are compared to those of idealized connection; at the same time, this paper presents a design method that matches economic efficiency, end-fixity, and rotational stiffness.

Providing Payment Atomicity Using Verifiable Encryption (확인 가능한 암호기법을 사용한 지불의 원자성 보장 방법)

  • Verifiable encryption is an encryption technique with which one can verify what has been encrypted even if one can not decrypt the ciphertext. This technique can be used in fair exchange to convince the counterpart of his or her receiving an item by presenting an encrypted form in advance. In this paper, a method that can guarantee the payment atomicity is proposed by applying verifiable encryption to an electronic cash system based on the representation problem. With the new method, the process of dispute settlement is improved in the fact that the trusted third party do not have to interact with the bank to resolve disputes. This method is also flexible in a sense that clients and shops can request for dispute settlement regardless of any deadline constraint. However, additional proof is necessary to apply verifiable encryption during payment. We discuss the security and the atomicity of our method, and compare ours with others.

Current Status and Direction of Weed Management According to Cropping Systems (작부체계에 따른 잡초관리 연구 동향과 방향)

  • The present study was conducted to propose future research directions for weed management by examining the current trends of research on weed occurrence according to cropping systems. The cropping systems are developed for the efficient use of arable land, and the weed flora changes according to the management practices of a given cropping system. In particular, weed occurrence can be reduced by altering the soil environment. In addition, cultivation methods, such as tillage, affect the weed seed bank in the soil, thus altering the pattern of weed occurrence. Here, we propose three weed management practices according to the cropping system. First, it is necessary to develop a model that can classify weed species by analyzing young seedlings and can predict the flora in the field. Second, it is important to manage the cropping system history and establish a database of agricultural information, which can be linked to meteorological and geographic data. Third, it is critical to estimate the weed occurrence and soil seed bank dynamics, based on which a cropping system platform and digitalization technology can be developed. In the future, the prediction of weed occurrence and control according to the cropping system will contribute to sustainable agriculture by reducing the use of herbicides and solving the problems of resistant weeds.

  • Many business managers claim that treasury management is their leading concern. Managing cash flows is the center of treasury management. However, in reality, companies has experienced the difficulty in monitoring and controling this flow initiated by business transactions. To resolve this problem, Webcash Inc. developed an innovative systems called Branch Solution. Branch Solution stands in between banking systems and a company's ERP system to connect them. This system provides the company with an ability to control the financial flow in accordance with the physical flow of materials. Due to this solution many companies accomplish a high efficiency and visibility in their cash management. This study analyses a treasury management case from the perspective of supply-chain processes integration.
