Recently, AI (Artificial Intelligence) has been applied to various technologies such as automatic driving, robot and smart communication. Currently, AI system is developed by software-based method using tensor flow, and GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) is employed for processing unit. However, if software-based method employing GPU is used for AI applications, there is a problem that we can not change the internal circuit of processing unit. In this method, if high-level jobs are required for AI system, we need high-performance GPU, therefore, we have to change GPU or graphic card to perform the jobs. In this work, we developed a CNN-based FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) chip to solve this problem.

This study aimed to examine the effect of parentification on the smartphone dependency of upper elementary school children in double-income families and to verify whether ambivalence over emotional expression and loneliness sequentially mediates the relationship between parentification and smartphone dependency. The participants were 311 upper-elementary school students (4th to 6th graders; 126 boys, 40.5%) in doubleincome households residing in Seoul, Gyeong-gi, and Incheon. The data were collected through an online self-report questionnaire completed by the participants and were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and Mplus 8.7 software. The results can be summarized as follows. Firstly, the direct effect of parentification on the smartphone dependency of the children from double-income families was statistically insignificant. Secondly, ambivalence over emotional expression mediated the effect of parentification on smartphone dependency, while loneliness did not. Lastly, parentification influenced smartphone dependency through the sequential mediating channel of ambivalence over emotional expression and loneliness. In conclusion, these findings indicate that interventions for smartphone-overdependent children from double-income families should place emphasis on children's psychological difficulties attributed to parentification. Specifically, this study highlights the importance of alleviating the levels of ambivalence over emotional expression and loneliness to address the issue of children's smartphone dependency in double-income families, suggesting possible involvement and support at both household and societal levels.

This article attempts to analyze John Greenleaf Whittier's anti-slavery poems. As a Quaker, he criticizes and satirizes the rife slavery in the mid nineteenth century. His thoughts are based on his religious belief. "The Farewell of a Virginia Slave Mother" depicts the mother who lost daughter for she was sold to the South. The harsh state of the corrupt South is described. In "Massachusettes to Virginia," the speaker, deploring the moral corruption of Virginia, denounces any attempt to return slaves to slave states. With a moonrise as a socio-political symbol, "Arisen at Last" celebrates the passage of law to protect fugitive slaves. Written after the Civil War, "The Peace Autumn" celebrates the peaceful situation in which Emancipation was declared. His efforts contributed to the abolitionist literature.

In a good class, the elements that make up the class are organically related as a system. The goal of the class is to foster the ability of students to fully understand the educational content of the subject and then apply it to their professional areas. Therefore, for ideal classes, it is necessary to design students to acquire the necessary theories and apply them practically. The question We always ask ourselves during lectures is how to effectively give large-scale lectures for students. This is also the concern of all professors in charge of large-scale lectures opened across various major fields. Now is the time to find ways to effectively give lectures on a large scale. We studied how it is most effective to design and implement various factors such as lectures, presentation and group organization, assignment, group presentation, professor's group presentation guidance, lecture materials posting, questions and answers, group presentation feedback, final report writing, and grade calculation.

To prevent corruption, waste, and abuse in national governance, audit agencies are established and granted significant authority and responsibilities, including ensuring their independence. However, questions have been raised about who oversees these agencies and addresses issues or misconduct that may arise within them. In the United States, to address this oversight concern, the Inspector General Act was enacted, creating an audit community called the Inspector General Community. This community comprises various audit agencies and promotes compliance with standards and investigates potential wrongdoing by audit personnel. It fosters a culture of independence and collaboration among diverse stakeholders, such as Congress, the President, the Government Accountability Office, and agency leadership. In light of this successful approach in the United States, this research seeks to study and apply similar oversight mechanisms to audit agencies in South Korea. There is a need to develop the relationship between oversight bodies and parliament in terms of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of government operations. Accordingly, this paper studies this American case and presents efficient policy measures for the supervisory system to be applied to Korea's audit organizations. It aims to identify policy insights for effective supervision, ensuring independence, and fostering a collaborative culture within our audit institutions. Therefore, domestic interest and research on this matter are essential to enhance our audit mechanisms and achieve efficient governance.

The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of early childhood teachers' perception of young children's right and teachers' right on their implementation of respect for young children's right. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 355 early childhood teachers working at early childhood education institutions in the Seoul metropolitan area. Collected data were analyzed with Pearson's correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0. As a result, the higher the level of early childhood teachers' perception on young children's right and teachers' right, the higher the level of their implementation of respect for young children's right. In addition, early childhood teachers' perception of young children's right and teachers' right were found to be predictable variables on their implementation of respect for young children's right. Based on the results, we suggest a need to enhance early childhood teachers' perception not only on young children's right but also on teachers' right to enhance their implementation of respect for young children's right.

With the advent of the metaverse era, understanding individuals who engage in metaverse activities has become an important task for businesses and marketing practitioners. This study aimed to compare the socio-demographic and personality factors of metaverse non-users and users, and to ascertain the impact of these individual characteristics on use of metaverse. Cross-sectional data from 9,686 respondents aged 13 and above that extracted from the 2022 Korean Media Panel Survey were analyzed, revealing significant differences between metaverse non-users and users in terms of gender, age, education level, income level, marital status, employment status, openness to experience, extraversion, and conscientiousness. Gender, age, openness to experience, and neuroticism influenced the possibility of metaverse use. Age, education level, and openness to experience were found to impact the extent of metaverse use. These findings are expected to serve as foundational insights for businesses and marketing practitioners aiming to formulate strategies in utilizing the metaverse.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of grit on the relationship between cognitive strategies, metacognitive strategies, and resource management strategies, which are subdomains of learning strategies, and academic achievement among university students, and to provide basic data for improving academic achievement. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire from 203 undergraduate students at a university in City C. Academic achievement was positively correlated and statistically significant with cognitive strategies, metacognitive strategies, resource management strategies, and grit, which are subdomains of learning strategies.Grit had a partial mediating effect on the effects of cognitive strategies (Z=4.372, p<.001), metacognitive strategies (Z=5.398, p<.001), and resource management strategies (Z=4.991, p<.001) on academic achievement. Therefore, it is necessary to specifically explore and utilize ways to improve cognitive strategies, metacognitive strategies, resource management strategies, and grit in college students to contribute to the improvement of college students' major competencies.

The aim of this study is to evaluate Korea's employment policy for people with disabilities by utilizing situational feasibility evaluation of Fisher's multi-dimensional policy evaluation methods (1995, 2003). A number of related studies conducted so far have been focused only on quantitative research methods. In other words, balanced and comprehensive evaluation studies were insufficient. Therefore, this study attempted a balanced policy evaluation through a qualitative or phenomenological approach that complements the limitations of the existing empirical methodology. In this study, the sub-topics for evaluation were divided into employment delivery system, employment program, and institutional employment environment for people with disabilities. Improvement measures and policy implications for each topic were presented. In order to improve employment services and jobs for people with disabiliyies, it was suggested that there is a need to strengthen linkages and cooperation between institutions, eliminate blind spots in employment services, improve quality, expand customized employment services, strengthen programs, improve policy and institutional environments, and strengthen individual psychological and emotional support.

The untact environment brought about by the global pandemic has emerged as a new driving force for the matured social media market. In the post-coronavirus era, there arises a pivotal need for foundational data to reconfigure the operations and utilization strategies of social media. Using data from the 2022 Korean Media Panel Survey, this study compared sociodemographic and personality factors between social media non-users and users, and examined how these factors influenced social media usage time. The findings indicate differences between social media non-users and users in terms of gender, age, education level, income level, employment status, marital status, openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, and neuroticism. Usage time of social media is influenced by gender, age, income level, employment status, conscientiousness, and agreeableness. These results are anticipated to enhance the understanding of users and their usage behaviors for stakeholders in the social media market as they confront a potential second leap forward.
