Using the Loss parameter calculation method for the CPV system simulation (손실파라미터계산방법을 이용한 집광형태양광발전시스템 시뮬레이션)

  • CPV system is composed with CPV cells, modules, PCS(power conditioning system), solar tracker, system installation and balance of systems(BOS). Mention about modelling method which is applied for CPV system simulation and evaluation system analysis. This paper focuses on CPV system modeling and optimal design of the electric energy production analysis through the development of proposed optimal CPV system simulation. Calculated simulation results of the generalized CPV system in regard to loss parameter calculation method can make out optimal configuration of CPV system with high reliability and stability. The loss parameter calculation method establish a mathematical modeling for the purposed of simulation and utilization various data for economical analysis of the CPV system design.

  • The aim of this paper was to test the effects of simulation-based learning on knowledge, confidence, critical thinking disposition, and clinical competence to advanced cardiovascular life support of nursing student. This study used one group, pre-post test design. The participants of this research were 35 senior nursing students who underwent training in the medical-surgical nursing education. Data were collected by utilizing the questionnaire in two separate occasions: before and after the simulation-based training. As a result of this paper, the improvements of the knowledge, confidence, critical thinking disposition, and clinical competence to advanced cardiovascular life support were statistically significant. In conclusion, the simulation-based education has a positive effect on nursing students in the area of knowledge, confidence, critical thinking disposition, and clinical competence to advanced cardiovascular life support.

  • Considerable interest has been directed toward utilizing virtual environment-based simulations for teacher education which provide authentic experience of classroom environment and repetitive training. Emotional Interaction should be considered for more advanced simulation learning performance. Since emotion is important factors in creative thinking, inspiration, concentration, and learning motivation, identifying learners' emotional interactions and applying these results to teaching simulation is essential activities. In this context, this study aims to identify the objective data for the empathetic response through the movement of the learner's EEG (Electroencephalogram) and eye-tracking, and to provide clues for designing emotional teaching simulation. The results of this study indicated that intended empathetic response was provided and in terms of valence (positive and negative) states and situational interest played an important role in determining areas of interest. The results of this study are expected to provide guidelines for the design of emotional interactions in simulations for teacher education as follow; (a) the development of avatars capable of expressing sophisticated emotions and (b) the development of scenarios suitable for situations that cause emotional reactions.

A Design of a circularly polarized small UHF RFID antenna (소형 원형편파 UHF RFID 대역 융합형 안테나 설계)

  • A circularly polarized small UHF RFID reader antenna is presented. The antenna is composed of four elements and printed on the plastic substrate(${\varepsilon}_r=2.2$, t=5mm). Each element is fed by a probe which is sequentially connected to the feed line. The feed line is manufactured on the FR-4 substrate(t=1.0mm, ${\varepsilon}_r=4.7$). The simulation results shows that the antenna can be achieved a return loss of 12dB, gain of 3.46dBic over the UHF band of 902-928MHz. According to our simulation results, two prototype antennas are manufactured and measured. The obtained antennas operate in UHF RFID bands and can be adapted for various portable applications. In addition, a parametric study is conducted to facilitate the design and optimization processes.

  • This paper is presented an accurate localization scheme for mobile robots based on the fusion of ultrasonic satellite (U-SAT) with inertial navigation system (INS), i.e., sensor fusion. Our aim is to achieve enough accuracy less than 100 mm. The INS consist of a yaw gyro, two wheel-encoders. And the U-SAT consist of four transmitters, a receiver. Besides the localization method in this paper fuse these in an extended Kalman filter. The performance of the localization is verified by simulation and two actual data(straight, curve) gathered from about 0.5 m/s of driving actual driving data. localization methods used are general sensor fusion and sensor fusion through Kalman filter using data from INS. Through the simulation and actual data studies, the experiment show the effectiveness of the proposed method for autonomous mobile robots.

  • 코로나감염-19, 사스, 메르스 등 바이러스성 질병이 전세계적으로 확산되어 많은 인구가 감염되어 왔다. 바이러스성 질병의 확산 예측 및 종결을 위해 실제 감염자 데이터를 기반으로 한 시뮬레이션 연구는 반드시 필요하다. 본 연구는 지역 내 클러스터 감염 시뮬레이션을 위한 바이러스 감염모델을 제안한다. 제안하는 모델은 여러 개의 셀로 구성되어 있으며, 각 셀은 군집을 표현하고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 모델은 실제 데이터를 기반으로 하여 정확도가 높으며, 이를 바탕으로 향후 지역의 특성을 반영한 전파 시뮬레이션 혹은 지역 간의 전파를 예상하는 시뮬레이션의 기초로 사용될 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 텍스처 합성 기술을 활용하여 가상의 거품 패턴 텍스처를 생성하기 위한 합성 데이터 구축 방법을 소개한다. 물리 기반 유체 시뮬레이션에서 거품 표현은 2차 효과(Secondary effects)로 분류되며, 그만큼 계산량이 큰 작업이다. 게임 업계에서는 저사양 디바이스에서도 실시간으로 게임이 실행되어야 하므로 상대적으로 계산량이 큰 물리 기반 시뮬레이션을 통해 거품을 표현하기 어렵다. 대부분 사용자가 임의로 그린 거품 패턴을 화면에 매핑하여 적은 계산량을 통해 거품을 표현하지만, 시뮬레이션을 통해 만들어진 데이터가 아니기 때문에 품질을 보장하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 물리 기반 시뮬레이션을 통해 만들어진 거품 패턴을 텍스처 합성 기술을 통해 재생산(Reproduction)함으로써 수작업으로 그린 거품 패턴에서는 표현하기 어려운 고품질 거품 패턴 텍스처를 만들어 낸다.

  • 과거에는 주로 기술적 발전에 의해 기술이 개발되면서 기술 개발의 상업성과 경제성에 많은 의문이 제기되고 있다. 따라서 최근에는 시장과 수요를 강조하여야 한다는 요구가 각 분야에서 도출되고 있다. 즉 기술 자체의 발전에 의해서 기술이 개발되어온 측면이 많아 기술 개발의 결과가 연구실에서 사장되거나 고객에게 다가가지 못하고 개발을 위한 개발에 그치는 경우가 빈번해지면서 기술이나 이를 활용한 아이템 개발시 고객의 소리를 청취하고 이를 적극 반영하여야 한다는 것이 일반화되고 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 시장 고객 중심으로의 접근 체계 및 프로세스, 방법을 마련하고 이를 통해 시도된 미래 유망 IT 융합기술 발굴 시뮬레이션 결과를 중심으로 서술코자 한다.

Performance Analysis of Turbo Encoded Parallel Interference Canceller on Rayleigh Fading Channel (Rayleigh 페이딩 채널에서 터보부호화 병렬간섭제거기의 성능분석)

  • In this paper a new scheme combining the turbo coder with parallel interference canceller, which effectively mitigates the effects of multiple access interferences and Ralyeigh fades in the DS-CDAM mobile communication systems is proposed Using the Monte-Carlo simulation, the performance of this scheme in terms of the number of users and signal to noise ration under AWGN and Ralyeigh fading environment is analyzed. The results of simulations show that the proposed scheme outperforms conventional CDMA receiver systems over Rayleigh fading as well as AWGN.

Modelling and Development of Control Algorithm of Endoscopy

  • In this paper, basic backgrounds about capsule endoscopy are introduced, and the aims and objectives are also illustrated. Methodology and mathematical model for LuGre model were investigated to analyse system characteristics. A nonlinear friction model, the stick-slip motion system based on LuGre friction model was used to simulate the motion of capsule endoscopy inside human body. Under the different situation, LuGre friction model was simulated by Matlab Simulink software. The entire cycle of motion and the influence of parameters towards to velocity are fully simulated.
