  • Even though the replying comments on Internet articles have positive effects on discussions and communications, the malicious comments are still the source of problems even driving people to death. Automatic detection of malicious comments is important in this respect. However, the current filtering method of the malicious comments, based on forbidden words, is not so effective, especially for the replying comments written in Korean. This paper proposes a new filtering approach based on morpheme analysis, identifying coarse and polite morphemes. Based on these two groups of morphemes, the soundness of comments can be calculated. Further, this paper proposes various impact measures for comments, based on the soundness. According to the experiments on malicious comments, one of the impact measures is effective for detecting malicious comments. Comparing our method with the clean-bot of a portal site, the recall is enhanced by 37.93% point and F-measure is also enhanced up to 47.66 points. According to this result, it is highly expected that the new filtering method based on morpheme analysis can be a promising alternative to those based on forbidden words.

  • So many fast motion estimation algorithms for prediction quality and computational reduction have been published due to tremendous computations of full search algorithm. In the paper, we suggest an algorithm that reduces computation effectively, while keeping prediction quality as almost same as that of the full search. The proposed algorithm based on multiple threshold filter calculates the sum of partial block matching error for each candidate, selects the candidates for the next step, compares the stability of optimal candidates with minimum error, removes impossible candidates, and calculates optimal motion vectors by determining the progress of the next step. By doing that, we can find the minimum error point as soon as possible and obtain the better performance of calculation speed by reducing unnecessary computations. The proposed algorithm can be combined with conventional fast motion estimation algorithms as well as by itself, further reduce computation while keeping the prediction quality as almost same as the algorithms, and prove it in the experimental results.

  • With the recent development of communication equipment, the demand for communication equipment is gradually increasing. Accordingly, various signal processing has been studied. In the case of an image, noise removal is an indispensable step because noise propagation problems may occur if noise is not removed in the pre-processing process. Salt and Pepper noise is a typical impulse noise with two extremes. Various studies have been conducted to remove such noise, and there are CWMF, MF and MMF. However, the existing methods are somewhat insufficient in the high-density noise region. Therefore, in this study, we have proposed an algorithm that filters the size of the mask according to the number of noises inside the 7×7 mask and filters it with a modified switching filter using the histogram distribution of the image. In the case of the proposed algorithm, noise can be effectively removed in a high-density noise region. For objective judgment, PSNR was used to compare and analyze with existing algorithms.

  • Recently, the technologies of adaptive noise cancellation(ANC) are developed fast and widely due to the highly sophisticated digital signal processing algorithms and the high-speed communication networks and devices. But, thousand numbers of the adaptive filter taps are required to obtain the satisfying results in the fields of the adaptive noise cancellation and echo cancellation. In the paper, performance comparisons based on the real-time processing between frequency domain adaptive filter(FDAF) and multi-delay frequency domain adaptive filter(MDF) are carried. Those algorithms provide us with the reductions of the computational burdens and the increase of the convergence rate for the lengthy Fill adaptive filters. The time delay due to the long taps of FDAF can be reduced by adopting the MDF algorithms. The conventional ANC and cross talks ANC using FDAF are implemented on the dSP ACE 1103 real-time signal processing board.

  • In subband structure, the fullband AP adaptive filter with P projection dimension can be decomposed P adaptive sub-filters by applying maximally polyphase decomposition and noble identity. Each adaptive sub-filter has a simple weight update formula with the unit projection dimension. This subband decomposition method is one of the most practical solution in the viewpoint of implementation. For utilization in many applications, it is necessary that analysis for the optimum step size of the maximally polyphase decomposed subband AP(MPDSAP) adaptive filter. In this paper, we present an improved analysis model of mean square error and induce the initial optimum step size for the MPDSAP adaptive filter. Computer simulations show that there is a relatively good match between theory and practice for the improved analysis model of MSE and the induced initial optimum step size.

  • Through the 4th Industrial Revolution, various digital equipments are being distributed, and accordingly, the importance of data processing is increasing. As data processing has a great effect on the reliability of equipment, its importance is increasing, and various studies are being conducted. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to remove AWGN in consideration of the noise in the image. The proposed algorithm is used in the filtering process by inferring the standard deviation of the image noise. The noise is removed by dividing the filter for the high frequency component and the filter for the low frequency component compared with the standard deviation of the filtering mask. The proposed algorithm is simulated with the existing methods for evaluation and compared and analyzed by difference image, PSNR and profile. The proposed algorithm minimizes the effect of noise and preserves the important characteristics of the image and shows the performance of efficient noise removal.

  • In this paper, we are going to study how we can automatically determine the number of convolutional filters for the optimal model without a search algorithm. This paper proposes HSE Block by connecting SE Block proposed in SENet to a convolutional neural network and connecting a convolutional neural network not learned at the bottom. An experiment was conducted to increase the number of filters by one per 3 epoch using two datasets for the HSEBlock model and to increase the number of filters by the value in the filter. Based on this experiment, the model was constructed with multi-layer HSE Block instead of layer HSE Block, and the experiment was carried out using a dataset that was more difficult to learn than the one used in the previous experiment. The effect of HSE Block was verified by conducting an experiment with the number of HSE Blocks set to 2, 3, 4, and 5 on a dataset that is more difficult to learn than before.

  • This paper describes the performance improvement of Software (SW) digital filter using GPU (Graphical Processing Unit). The previous developed SW digital filter has a problem that it operates on a CPU (Central Processing Unit) basis and has a slow speed. The GPU was introduced to filter the data of the EAVN (East Asian VLBI Network) observation to improve the operation speed and to process data with other stations through filtering, respectively. In order to enhance the computational speed of the SW digital filter, NVIDIA Titan V GPU board with built-in Tensor Core is used. The processing speed of about 0.78 (1Gbps, 16MHz BW, 16-IF) and 1.1 (2Gbps, 32MHz BW, 16-IF) times for the observing time was achieved by filtering the 95 second observation data of 2 Gbps (512 MHz BW, 1-IF), respectively. In addition, 2Gbps data is digitally filtered for the 1 and 2Gbps simultaneously observed with KVN (Korean VLBI Network), and compared with the 1Gbps, we obtained similar values such as cross power spectrum, phase, and SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio). As a result, the effectiveness of developed SW digital filter using GPU in this research was confirmed for utilizing the data processing and analysis. In the future, it is expected that the observation data will be able to be filtered in real time when the distributed processing optimization of source code for using multiple GPU boards.

  • Data Fusion algorithm is essential in Target Detection using radar, and it has more reliability. In this paper, Multi Radar Fusion algorithm using IMM(Interacting Multiple Model) filter is suggested. This well-known IMM filter has better performance than Kalman filter has. In this simulation, Distributed Data Fusion process was applied, and three sub-filters and one main filter were employed. In addition, this simulation was evaluated by virtual radar data which include constant velocity, constant accelerate, turn rate. The result of an evaluation shows better performance in the maneuvering section of aircraft.
