Big data analysis is a means of organizational problem solving. For an effective problem solving, approaches to problem solving should take into account the factors such as characteristics of problem, types and availability of data, data analytic capability, and technical capability. In this article we propose three approaches: logical top-down, data driven bottom-up, and prototyping for overcoming undefined problem circumstances. In particular we look into the relationship of creative problem solving with the bottom-up approach. Based on the organizational data governance and data analytic capability, we also derive strategic issues concerning the sourcing of big data analysis.

현재 융합보안에 대한 개념은 물리적, 기술적, 관리적 보안을 상호 연계하여 보안의 효과성을 높이고자 하는 통합적 보안을 관리하는 개념과, 보안이 조선, 자동차 등 기타 산업과 융합되어 새로운 서비스나 제품의 안전성과 부가가치 창출을 위한 복합적 의미의 개념으로 사용되고 있다. 이러한 융합보안에 대한 상이한 개념은 향후 융합보안의 연구 및 적용에 있어 혼란을 초래할 가능성이 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 혼용되고 있는 융합보안의 개념을 재정립하고, 두 가지 차원의 융합보안 적용 시 고려해야 할 접근방법을 제시하는 것이다.

본 연구에서는 4차 산업혁명에서 가장 중요하게 대두될 수 있는 융합R&D정책에 대해 소셜 네트워크 분석을 통해 새로운 대안을 제시하려고 한다. 연구장비, 연구성과의 자료들을 활용하여 연구장비 네트워크 분석을 실시하여 융합R&D의 특성 및 구조분석을 실시하며, 연구장비 공동활용 및 다학제 협력연구를 통해 창출될 수 있는 새로운 융합R&D정책에 대한 접근을 시도하려고 한다. 나아가, 연구개발과 사업화 사이에서 더욱 중요한 역할을 할 수 있는 분석과학기술에 대한 정책적 플랫폼 구축관점 대한 시사점을 찾아내려고 한다. 이를 위해 계량적 접근과 비계량적 접근을 동시에 활용하여 연구주제에 대한 타당성을 확보할 것이며, 앞으로 미래산업 및 유망기술에 대한 전략적 선별에 있어 일부 근거를 제시해줄 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 우리나라 기초과학 및 기초과학인프라에 대한 발전적 정책방안과 융합연구 및 융합연구의 사업화에 대한 정책적 관점을 제시하도록 한다. 분석자료는 한국기초과학지원연구원(KBSI) 현황자료를 중심으로 살펴보며, 분석방법은 소셜네트워크분석(SNA:Socail Network Analysis)을 활용한다.

Since the era of industrial revolution, the waste volume has continued to grow; waste management has thus become one of the major global environmental challenges facing humanities today. Waste treatment and management issues trigger NIMBY movements, and disputes among states, governments, and social actors over the issues have been accelrating. At the level of states and sub-states, various measures including institutions, laws, regulations, market-oriented methods, consensus and collaborative governance have been introduced to address various problems associated with waste. More recently, science and technology has been applied to the waste treatment and management under the notion of circular economy. However, societal support for addressing waste problems still remains inadequate, calling for new approaches and alternative pathways. In this context, this study examines two cases of urban incineration plants designed by Hudertwasser, Austria-born artist and architect: Spittelau, Austria, and Osaka, Japan. Through these case studies, I demonstrate how creative and innovative culture-technology convergence can shed new light on challenging environmental issues such as an urban waste problem.

This study is a complex type consisting of survey study and self-study. The former investigated elementary teachers' epistemological beliefs on convergence knowledge and teaching. As a representative of the result of survey study I, as a teacher as well as a researcher, was the participant of the self-study, which investigated my epistemological belief on convergence knowledge and teaching and my execution of convergent science teaching based on family resemblance of mathematics, science, and physical education. A set of open-ended written questionnaires was administered to 28 elementary teachers. Participating teachers considered convergent teaching as discipline-using or multi-disciplinary teaching. They also have epistemological beliefs in which they conceived convergence knowledge as aggregation of diverse disciplinary knowledge and students could get it through their own problem solving processes. As a teacher and researcher I have similar epistemological belief as the other teachers. During the self-study, I tried to apply convergence knowledge system based on the family resemblance analysis among math, science, and PE to my teaching. Inter-disciplinary approach to convergence teaching was not easy for me to conduct. Mathematical units, ratio and rate were linked to science concept of velocity so that it was effective to converge two disciplines. Moreover PE offered specific context where the concepts of math and science were connected convergently so that PE facilitated inter-disciplinary convergent teaching. The gaps between my epistemological belief and inter-disciplinary convergence knowledge based on family resemblance and the cases of how to bridge the gap by my experience were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to find ways to promote residents' participation as an important key for urban regeneration and enhancing urban competition. The Korea Convergence Society. The case of the design and operation of the community academy as part of the urban regeneration project (the New Ddeul Village Project) in the S district of Busan Metropolitan City was analyzed based on the strength model. Based on the job, this study presented some empirical discussions for a successful community engagement program. First, move away from the pathological model based on regional problems and approach it as a positive and potential-oriented strength model. Second, it is co-prosperity by utilizing the resources of local universities around the village. Third, to meet the diverse needs of local residents, they should seek regional support and exchanges through the convergence of college majors.

The purpose of access control is to prevent computing resources from illegal behavior such as leakage, modification, and destruction by unauthorized users. As the cloud computing environment is expanded to resource sharing services using virtualization technology, a new security model and access control technique are required to provide dynamic and secure cloud-based computing services. The virtualization management convergence access control model provides a flexible user authorization function by applying the dynamic privilege assignment function to the role based access control mechanism. In addition, by applying access control mechanism based on security level and rules, we solve the conflict problem in virtual machine system and guarantee the safeness of physical resources. This model will help to build a secure and efficient cloud-based virtualization management system and will be expanded to a mechanism that reflects the multi-level characteristics.

This study attempted a convergence approach of family therapy and family coaching as the importance of convergence application of counseling and coaching has rapidly spread around the academic and clinical world with one individual client around the world since the 2000s. For this, based on previous domestic and foreign literature studies, coaching techniques that can increase clinical satisfaction and effectiveness by combining with coaching among the main theories of family therapy were presented. This researcher examined whether family therapy can be applied convergently with family coaching, and what benefits are available when the main theories of family therapy are combined with coaching in the clinical field. For this purpose, double binding and communication coaching, pseudo-mutuality and true rapport, marital schism and conflict mediation, differentiation and dissociation were compared and analyzed. Based on this study, it is hoped that a convergence approach of family therapy and family coaching will be attempted in the field of counseling and psychotherapy, and through this, it will contribute to establishing a new clinical treatment model and academic establishment of family coaching.

The purpose of this study was to explore integrated approaches to physical education in general education by examining methodology of physical education aiming for convergence education. This case study was conducted, using a qualitative approach during March, 2017 to November, 2017. Data were collected through non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, field-notes, students' journal, syllabus and lecture materials. The key findings are as follows: First, "Emotion Coaching through Movement" is a course of 'understanding of body' approaching integrated humanities science and natural science. Second, it is a convergence education, conducting 'text to daily practice' by approaching positive psychology and neurophysiology. Third, it is a physical education with 'integrated theory and practice' in higher education. These results indicate that students can understand their own body, observe their daily and fixed movement or reaction pattern, and enhance the ability of understanding others through a physical education in general education.

This study aims to suggest a desirable dietary methods based on the oriental medicated dietary effects based on the schema of four qi and five flavors of foods originated from the yin-yang and five phase theory through clear understanding of the theory of oriental medicated dietary in a modern point of view, and through experimental analysis on the nutrient and dietary effect of 4 medicinal plants. We expect it can show us the way for promoting more healthy life styles and for preventing adult diseases by following our own medicated dietary theory. We should develop our own culinary and dietary culture which is suitable for our physical and genetic conditions for our healthy and happy lives. To successfully develop and introduce them, we should analyze their dietary effects scientifically based on both the theory of nutrialogy and the oriental medicated dietary in a modern point of view.
