Model Development of Convergence Curriculum by Specialization Area Linkage between Local Universities (지역대학 간 특화영역을 연계한 대학연합-융합전공 모형개발)

  • The university bachelor's system is based on autonomy, but due to the rigid academic structure, it is not appropriate to respond to changes in social demand. Recently, universities are pursuing diversification of their bachelor's system. With the introduction of various majors (linkage major, convergence major, autonomic major, and self-design major), efforts are being made to nurture convergence talent based on mutual linkages between major and departments. This study introduces the design and operation process of 'Global Creative Convergence Major' which the four universities of Chungcheong region promoted as a union. In particular, it derives the key elements of each step and presents the operating model and implications based on the main features. Convergence major operation model constitutes educational system (talent award, educational goal, competency factor, curriculum) through linkage between specialization areas of universities. The competency elements contain creative competence, convergence competency, problem solving competency, and global competency.

A Methodology for Finding the Convergence Research Area by Measuring Convergence Index in Government Research Institutes (융합지수 측정을 통한 출연연 융합연구영역 발굴모형 연구)

  • In conjunction with securing R&D competitiveness through technology convergence, there is a growing interest in the strategy to derive innovation based on the measurement of convergence. In this paper, we present a data-based model that suggests convergence strategies for the research projects of government research institutes (GRIs) in Korea. The convergence characteristics of the research projects are represented by inherent attributes of technology and behavioral attributes of actors. The measuring process of the proxy variables (Rao-Stirling and Herfindahl-Hirschman Indices) for each attributes are proposed. These two indices are used to construct the convergence diagram, through which the research projects of GRIs are distributed into four areas: AllianceIntra, Alliance-Inter, Competition, Mission-Oriented. Based on the convergence diagram proposed in this study the convergence index is measured to derive 30 convergence research areas of GRIs. As a result, we expect to provide appropriate guidelines for setting the policy direction of the convergence research projects.

  • In this study, a model that can converge with artificial intelligence in each subject as software and artificial intelligence education become mandatory in the curriculum revised in 2022 is proposed. The proposed AI convergence education model is based on the content of the subject (accomplishment standard + subject). The second axis is artificial intelligence tools, the third axis is artificial intelligence technology, and the fourth axis is data applied in daily life. In order to apply artificial intelligence to each subject, it is necessary to apply artificial intelligence tools, artificial intelligence technology, and data in daily life to the achievement standards and content of each subject. If the achievement standards and subject contents are structured in this way, it can be seen that the convergence with each subject is good. Therefore, when composing textbooks by achievement standards and topics, it is necessary to add artificial intelligence tools, artificial intelligence technology, and daily data.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a convergence software teaching and learning model based on flipped learning through multidisciplinary integration of the subject matter curriculum and content elements of software education so as to facilitate students' self-directed learning utilizing computers and smart devices and to apply the model to the elementary classroom and examine the effects on students' EPL interest and achievement levels. The teaching and learning model consists of four stages: content convergence, problem presentation, creative idea design, and product sharing. The results of the analyses indicated that students' EPL interest was enhanced and achievement levels were increased. The implications of the results of the study and expected effects were discussed.

The Effects of the Previous Corporation Internal Reservation on the Current R&D Investment -Using EDU as a moderating variable & Verification through GBM model (법인의 전기 사내유보가 당기 연구개발 투자에 미치는 영향 - 교육훈련비의 조절변수 효과 및 GBM 모델을 통한 검증)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of corporation internal reservation on R&D investment. It is to find how much effect the reflux tax has achieved through empirical analysis. In addition, education training expense was taken as a moderating variable to find the effectiveness of government policy. Furthermore, the study looked through the effect once again by using GMB model. According to the result counted by regression analysis, it could be concluded that the effect of both moderation and intervention had a significant effect and the variable of interest cost and welfare & benefit cost in model 1, 2 and 3 had a meaningful impact at the level of 99%. On the other hand, the previous corporate internal reservation failed to show any significant result in all types of models. Even in GBM model of convergence level applied to additional analysis, similar results came out.

Development of Standards and Instructional Model of Future Mathematics Classroom (미래 수학 교실 기준과 수업 모형의 개발)

  • In this study, we suggest the standards for future mathematics classroom from environment, teachers, and students aspects. Future mathematics classroom should have the three environmental standards that perform responsible roles and appropriate functions of physical resources and classroom space. In the teacher standards' domain, we presented as a total of eight kinds. Concretely, we proposed the four standards for improvement of mathematical teacher's instructional expertise and the four standards for improvement of abilities of learners. The students standards consist of 4 domain a such as 3 standards of mathematical investigation and problem solving, 3 standards of cooperation and communication, 1 standard of utilization and operation of mathematical technologies and learning support systems, 2 standard of digital ethics and citizenship. Also, we developed the mathematical convergence instruction model and reported the results of its application after the lessons conducted in the classroom equipped with advanced environmental and technologies. We presented the convergence instruction model and scenarios focused on thoughts and actions of teachers and students in the future mathematics classroom.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affects the participating in a smoking cessation program. Data were from the A Study on the Seoul Welfare Panel Study 2010. Subjects were 1,326 smokers aged 19 and older living in the community. Dependent variable was defined as experience of smoking cessation. Explanatory variables were included as age, gender, level of education, employment status, household income, marital status, drinking, self-reported health status, depression, disease, and physical activity. A prediction model was developed by the use of a Decision Tree and Neural Network Algorithm. In the Prediction model, self reported health status, disease, income, household income were significantly associated with participating in a smoking cessation program. Based this study, systematic education and development of programs are required.

Development of Spanish Teaching Model Applying Action Learning through Strengthening Communication (스페인어 교양수업에서 액션러닝을 통한 소통 강화 교수학습 모형 개발)

  • This study is to propose a communication strengthening teaching model using action learning for Spanish learners, and to verify its effectiveness through a case study of Spanish lessons. This study was conducted under the same conditions by dividing 91 students from September 1 to December 20, 2019 into experiment and control classes. As a result of the experiment, both classes improved their writing ability to some extent, but the learners in the experimental class applying action learning showed more meaningful results in terms of the content, expressions, fluency of the text, and the affective domain test also showed a significant difference. The development of this teaching model, which is necessary for learner-centered convergence activities, is expected to be of academic significance as it can be used for other foreign language class activities as well as improving Spanish communication.

Exploring What Effects on Vaccination for Covid-19: Converging Health Locus of Control and Health Belief Model (코로나 19 백신 접종영향 요인의 탐색: 건강통제소재와 건강신념모형의 융합)

  • Since the outbreak of Covid-19, many countries have tried to defense Covid-19 to protect their people and as an influential and reliable policy as of now, they have recommended vaccinating. Thus, this research explored what influences the intention to vaccinate against Covid-19 with three health locus of control from multi-dimension health locus of control (MHLC) and perceived susceptibility and severity from health belief model (HBM) through PLS path modeling. Consequently, chance locus of control (CHLC) influence indirectly intention to vaccinate against Covid-19 mediating with susceptibility perception. It implies that the more fatalistic people attitude toward Covid-19, the more susceptible they perceived to the disease, and then, the stronger intention to vaccinate they would have. Thus, the health promotion authorities should motivate to activate people's susceptibility perception toward the disease through utilizing a variety of policies and consider that the fatalistic tendency toward the disease of people could play an antecedent role in the process.

Evaluation of satellite precipitation prediction using ConvLSTM (ConvLSTM을 이용한 위성 강수 예측 평가)

  • 홍수 예보를 위한 강우-유출 분석에서 정확한 예측 강우량 정보는 매우 중요한 인자이다. 이에 따라 강우 예측을 위하여 다양한 연구들이 수행되고 있지만 시·공간적으로 비균일한 특성 또는 변동성을 가진 강우를 정확하게 예측하는 것은 여전히 난제이다. 본 연구에서는 딥러닝 기반 ConvLSTM (Convolutinal Long Short-Term Memory) 모형을 사용하여 위성 강수 자료의 단기 예측을 수행하고 그 정확성을 분석하고자 한다. 대상유역은 메콩강 유역이며, 유역 면적이 넓고 강우 관측소의 밀도가 낮아 시·공간적 강우량 추정에 한계가 있으므로 정확한 강우-유출 분석을 위하여 위성 강수 자료의 활용이 요구된다. 현재 TRMM, GSMaP, PERSIANN 등 많은 위성 강수 자료들이 제공되고 있으며, 우선적으로 ConvLSTM 모형의 강수 예측 활용가능성 평가를 위한 입력자료로 가장 보편적으로 활용되는 TRMM_3B42 자료를 선정하였다. 해당 자료의 특성으로 공간해상도는 0.25°, 시간해상도는 일자료이며, 2001년부터 2015년의 자료를 수집하였다. 모형의 평가를 위하여 2001년부터 2013년 자료는 학습, 2014년 자료는 검증, 2015년 자료는 예측에 사용하였다. 또한 민감도 분석을 통하여 ConvLSTM 모형의 최적 매개변수를 추정하고 이를 기반으로 선행시간(lead time) 1일, 2일, 3일의 위성 강수 예측을 수행하였다. 그 결과 선행시간이 길어질수록 그 오차는 증가하지만, 전반적으로 3가지 선행시간 모두 자료의 강수량뿐만 아니라 공간적 분포까지 우수하게 예측되었다. 따라서 2차원 시계열 자료의 특성을 기억하고 이를 예측에 반영할 수 있는 ConvLSTM 모형은 메콩강과 같은 미계측 대유역에서의 안정적인 예측 강수량 정보를 제공할 수 있으며 홍수 예보를 위한 강우-유출 분석에 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.
