This research, mainly focused on the development of the iPhone exclusive app 'Sketch Plus', is on the production of pens within the smart media. Our goal is to develop and reproduce pens with surreal rendering as a base and during that process, describe the fusing process of design perspectives and algorithms. This research comprehends the concept of surreal rendering, which is a technique that mimics traditional art forms, and suggests 15 pen techniques and ways to display them by analyzing previous research on smart media. We have described the process of using hatching patterns and resused to solve lag problems that occur during the reproduction of pen techniques due to the limitations of smart devices and organized the conversion process of pen patterns into 4 steps: rough sketch, contrast, applying and mimicking patterns, and applying color. We hope that this research on the reproduction of analog pen techniques can be used as an example for production on fused surreal rendering.

This article explores early childhood teachers' practices from bottom-up perspectives on the relationship between theory and practice. Results of the review of literature are as follows: 1) From top-down perspectives early childhood teachers' practices and their classroom behaviors have been traditionally defined within the framework of theories of child development, the notion of developmentally appropriate practice, and designed program models; 2) From bottom-up perspectives researchers have a focus on how teachers' practices lead theories and how they construct the act of teaching through reflective thinking; 3) empirical research on preservice and inservice teachers demonstrates that preservice teachers develop their own theories of teaching from their previously held assumptions, gained knowledge from preparation programs, and their individual experiences. It also shows that inservice teachers construct teaching through their implicit knowledge and the use of strategies to negotiate problems. Implications for future studies on teachers's practices are discussed.

In this paper, the effective transmission method is proposed to save the energy and to increase the throughput of the communication system using adaptive modulation. Traditionally, adaptive modulation has been used to improve the throughput using the power margin of the system design. Considering the instantaneous energy during the modulation method changing duration, the effective transmission method is proposed. By the simulation, the performance and effectiveness is validated.

The Mind is a still vastly vague and unknown notion. But the more we view this phenomenon with multi-faceted viewpoints and depth, the more we discourse of the Mind with profundity and develop the concept of the Mind with more objectivity which will become that much more perfect. This article proposes to capture the Theory of the Mind, to some extent, in various academic fields and in parallel studies to organize the whole perspectives of the Mind in form of a digital knowledge Mind Map and present a thinkable model of the topology of the Mind.

The purpose of this study is first to understand agent's turnover from both academic and perspectives. Then we suggest convergence of smart work paradigm and supervisor's support as the relieving factors of turnover, The research model of this study is based upon reviews of turnover literature, the smart work and supervisor's support as moderating variables from which research hypotheses were derived. The data came from the survey from financial sector agents such as banking, insurance, and others. The analyses has been done by SPSS 20.0, We used multiple regressions to test the effects of the tested variables on the dependent variable, job satisfaction. The results of this study find significant relations of smart work and supervisor's supports in relations to personal and job-related turnover. The implication is smart work and supervisor's supports play significant role in increasing job satisfactions. Major finding is too much supervisor's supports ignoring agent's situations may bring reverse effects on relieving turnover.

People observe lots of events around the environment and we can easily recognize the nature of an event from the resulting optic flow. The questions are how do people recognize events and what is the information in the optic flow that enables observers to recognize events. Motor theorists claim that human observers exhibit special sensitivity when perceiving events like speech or biological motion, because we both produce and perceive those events. However, direct perception theorists suggested that speech or biological motion is not special from the perception of all other kinds of event. The purpose of this review article is to address this controversy to critique the motor theory and to describe a direct realist approach to event perception. It is important to understand the fundamental information of how human perceive event perception for the convergence on robotics.

We investigate how the regional prevalence of hyperlipidemia is affected by health-related and socioeconomic factors with a special emphasis on geographic variations. We focus on the likelihood of hyperlipidemia as function of various region-specific attributes. We analysis a data set at the level of 249 small administrative districts collected from 2012 Korean Community Health Survey by Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. To estimate, we use several methods including correlation analysis, multiple regression and decision tree model. We find that the average prevalence of hyperlipidemia in 249 small districts is 9.6% and its coefficient of variation is 28.3%. Prevalence of hyperlipidemia in continental and capital regions is higher than in southeast coastal regions. Further findings using decision tree model suggest that variations of hyperlipidemia prevalence between regions is more likely to be associated with rate of employee, level of stress, prevalence of hypertension, angina pectoris, and osteoarthritis in their regions.

According to arriving convergence environment which can create new value-added converged between industry and ICT technology, It has made economic growth and improve the quality of life. However this convergence environment provide not only advantage but also various security problems resulting from generating converged security threats. For resolving this security problem, we need to approach to security problem in the integrated view not the fragmentary view which cover only technical approach. So This study developed security governance framework which can manage trustful security governance in multidimensional view which cover strategy, managerial/operational and technical view. Therefore this framework can construct trustful security management system which can help top management team to engage in security management directly and organizational member to perform security activities and have responsibility for themselves as suggesting single standard for security management.

As Location-based services on smartphone are getting more popular, users have more concern on exposing their location information. This study developed a research model to identify how smartphone users perceive on providing information pertaining to their location based on privacy calculus theory. 203 responses were analyzed with SmartPLS 2.0. The outcome of this research is quite interesting because conventional belief of privacy calculus perspective does not hold. The privacy calculus theory is based on assumption that human being is rational and decision to provide privacy information is determined by risk and benefit aspects. However, the result of this study is in accordance with behavioral economics perspective in which emotional judgment and behavioral judgement are affected by different factors.

This study's purpose is to research the correlation between property and the major festivals with media art of exemplary 3 cities among 8 Unesco Media Art Creative Cities. As a result, it is drawn a conclusion that the below strategies are necessary to achieve success for Unesco Media Art Creative City. First, from the Creative City's point of view, on the basis of the maximization of various merits such as history, natural surroundings, and human resources of the city, it is necessary to reconcile a vision of the city and an identity of Media Art Creative City, and to seek for continuous growth of the city by consistency and durability of control tower within the local government. Second, from the local festival's point of view, it is necessary to provide a differentiated service in the existing media art festivals, to attract the fusion of media art and festivals, and the diversification and the popularization of media art programs. And, it needs to lead to involvement of young people with the fusion of on-line and off-line festivals, the fusion of analogue and digital festivals. In the conclusion, for the successful constructing of Media Art Creative City, it is necessary to maximize the merits of the city's own, to enhance the image for Media Art Creative City with the correlation between the merits and media art, and to differentiate the city's own various festivals, ant the same time, to converge them with media art technology. With these strategies, the local festival can make a new leap for global festival when it constitutes a whole with Media Art Creative City.
