  • Broadcasting contents market is changing back of a smart TV appearance recently. This study proposed a contents industry view and government policy direction. We accomplished an depth interview with expert of Broadcasting Content Production Support. The data analysis method executed the content analysis. The research results presented in a three direction.

  • This study tried to confirm the promotion plan with competitive a Smart Work industry power analysis. We were the low so that consequently we did the industry type analysis with Smart Work industry support technique. We executed the depth interview with Smart Work expert of 40 persons for this. This study found the Smart Work 2.0 concept and recognition about the industry out. As results of a research, validity of Smart Work 2.0 concept appeared high and Smart Work industry classified 11 groups. With this products, We proposed activation policy for Smart Work industry.

  • In order for visual design graduates to meet corporate requirements, it is necessary to develop a complete ncs system in the field of visual design like developed countries. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' self-evaluation, corporate job needs, and school education methods, and to develop vocational competency standards in China's visual design by referring to the national vocational competency standards in Korean visual design. The research method is to analyze the education system of the Department of Visual Design at a university in Jiangsu Province, China, survey graduates of the Department of Visual Design, and develop national vocational standards in China by referring to job requirements of Chinese visual design companies. Analyzing this, the research results suggested a development plan for the national vocational competency standard in the field of visual design in China.

  • This study analyzed technology application field and technology transfer type related to the 4th industrial revolution using frequency, visualization, and association analysis of text mining of Big Data. The analysis was conducted between the last three years (2015 - 2017) registered with the NTB of KIAT transfer technology database was utilized. As a result of analysis, First, First, transfer technologies called core technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution are a lot of about robots, 3D, autonomous driving, and wearables. Second, as the year go by, transfer technolgy registration such as IoT, Cloud, VR is increasing. Third, the results of the association analysis of technology transfer type are as follows. IoT and VR showed preference for technology trading and licensing, autonomous driving technology trading, wearable licensing, robots preferring technology cooperation, licensing, and technology trading.

  • As the world economy has been changed into the knowledge-based society, all economic activities have globalized and intensified competition in the marketplace, and the forces of these changes are even more aggressively pressuring today's business. According to many businesses are focused on the core competence and various functions are outsourced by service providers, many firms pay heavily attention to business service. Although the importance of business service, domestic business service industry shows a low labor productivity. On the other hand, foreign business service companies in korea take a substantial portion of business service market. Thus, domestic business service needs to increase a competitiveness because of potential growth opportunities. This study attempts to find out the ripple effect of business service industry on other industry.

  • Game technologies are now applied in various engineering areas such as the simulation of surgical operation or the implementation of a cyber model house. One of the essential and important technology in these applications is cutting of the 3D polygon model in real time. Real-time cutting technology is an essential technology needed to implement the simulation of a building demolition or a car assembly for training or educational purpose. Previous cutting method using the conventional BSP-Tree structure has some limitations in that they divide the whole world including the 3D model and its environment, only into two parts with respect to an infinite plane. In this paper, we show a technique cutting the 3D model in a finite extent in order to solve this problem. Specifically, we restricted the cut surface in a finite rectangular area and constructed the mesh for the divided surface. To show the usefulness of our partial cutting technique, an example of the dismantling process simulation of a nuclear reactor polygon model was illustrated.

  • IT has contributed much to Korea's economic growth and has helped the innovation of social paradigm. It helps the improvement of productivity, efficiency, convenience and communication, and also helps the critical changes of life style. IT convergence with other technologies or industries has appeared and it promotes new changes and innovations. It is the convergence of IT advancement and other areas of technology development, and it promotes and creates new industries. In major countries, including Korea, the resources and capabilities has focused selectively into this new industry. In this paper, we try to study IT integration strategy and technology development trends and to evaluate the level of IT integration capabilities in Korea based on experts survey results. In the conclusion, we suggest some Strategic Recommendations for developing and leading the new IT Convergence industries.

  • As Fashion becomes more important in the field of fashion styling and fashion stylists' roles, there has been a strong demand for more unique and stylish fashion. Under these circumstances, the fashion stylist has upgraded the fashion industry as an expert in various fields. The fashion stylist's roles include creation of a fashion image depending on circumstances, improvement of contributionsto product awareness and advertisements by inspiring curiosity and interest from customers and promotion of purchase behaviors. In addition, the fashion stylist should be able to create appropriate attire and hairdos for models in fashion magazines depending on the theme and concept of the fashion and have keen insight, fashion sense and appropriate analyzing and planning skills to follow current trends. This study has investigatedthe field of fashion styling, which has emerged recently and fashion stylists' roles. It appears that fashion styling could develop into a high-growth, high value-added industry as a professional occupation that helps customers have an appropriate fashion sense.

An Analysis of the Economic Effects for the Immersive Media Industry (실감미디어 산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석)

  • The research on the immersive media technology is actively being done with the emergence of immersive services using immersive media, especially in the broadcasting industry and with the increased market demand for it. The industry which produces, transmits, processes and services the immersive contents is commonly called Immersive Media Industry. Immersive Media Industry has recently received attention as next-generation strategic industry with its high marketability and its high possibility of market expansion through convergence with other industry such as education, health, advertisement, travel and public service industry. As other advanccd country such as the U.S., Japan and Europe buckle down to take the innitiative in the immersive media industry, Korea government also begins to make plan to promote the immersive media industry. As above, immersive media industry is a cutting-edge convergence industry which embraces broadcasting, telecommunication and contents industry and it is rising as core growth engine industry. This article analyses the economic effects of immersive media industry through quantatitive method and evaluates the relations between the immersive media industry and the other related industries. As a result, the effect on production inducement of immersive media industry is 610.9 billion Korean Won; the effect on value-added inducement is 468.7 billion Korean Won; and it is measured that 3,258 job will be created by the immersive media industry.

  • Plant factory was started in Europe in the 1960. Thanks to the development of seeds science, nutrient study, environment control technology and automated systems, it has developed into the form of full artificial light system. In recent years, productivity of plant factory has increased with the convergence of ICT. An interest in plant factory has increased with several outstanding achievements. However, the plant factory industry is still stuck at an introductory stage and government investment has been reduced. In order to verify the feasibility of the plant factory, we conducted a survey targeting experts in politics, R&D and business field. We analyze the feasibility of investment in plant factory and strategies to enhance the competitiveness of plant factory.
