An Implementation of a u-Health Service Space Based on Sensor Network (센서 네트워크 기술에 기반한 유헬스 서비스 공간 구현)

  • In this paper, a sensor network system for providing u-health services is suggested and is implemented. It steadily collects biological data of resident people and automatically detects emergency situations. LEID (Lighting Embedded Information Device) nodes are the most essential component of the sensor network. They embed sensor network technology into lightening devices which are indispensable to most living spaces. To verify practicality of the proposed u-health system, a prototypical system is realized in the Smart Home Industrialization Support Center at Kookmin University, and is tested within many practical circumstances. The proposed u-health system can be used at various places where many patients are continuously cared.

Semantics Environment for U-health Service driven Naive Bayesian Filtering for Personalized Service Recommendation Method in Digital TV (디지털 TV에서 시멘틱 환경의 유헬스 서비스를 위한 나이브 베이지안 필터링 기반 개인화 서비스 추천 방법)

  • For digital TV, the recommendation of u-health personalized service of semantic environment should be done after evaluating individual physical condition, illness and health condition. The existing recommendation method of u-health personalized service of semantic environment had low user satisfaction because its recommendation was dependent on ontology for analyzing significance. We propose the personalized service recommendation method based on Naive Bayesian Classifier for u-health service of semantic environment in digital TV. In accordance with the proposed method, the condition data is inferred by using ontology, and the transaction is saved. By applying naive bayesian classifier that uses preference information, the service is provided after inferring based on user preference information and transaction formed from ontology. The service inferred based on naive bayesian classifier shows higher precision and recall ratio of the contents recommendation rather than the existing method.

Mutual Authentication Protocol based on the Effective Divided Session for the Secure Transmission of Medical Information in u-Health (유헬스에서 안전한 생체정보전송을 위한 동적인 유효세션기반의 상호인증 프로토콜)

  • All medical information over sensor networks need to transmit and process securely in the u-Health services. The reliability of transmission between u-Health medical sensor devices and gateway is very important issue. When the user moves to other place with u-Health devices, its signal strength is going down and is far from the coverage of gateway. In this case, Malicious user can be carried out an intrusion under the situation. And also rogue gateway can be tried to steal medical information. Therefore, it needs mutual authentication between sensor devices and gateway. In this paper, we design a mutual authentication protocol which divided sessions from an authenticated session are updated periodically. And in order to reduce the traffic overhead for session authentication, we also introduce dynamic session management according to sampling rate of medical sensor type. In order to verify this, we implemented the programs for the test-bed, and got an overall success from three types of experiment.

  • 최근 u-헬스케어 서비스는 바이오센서 및 스마트 의료 기기의 발달과 의료 데이터의 교환 및 처리를 위한 표준 기술 등이 뒷받침 되면서 서비스의 실체화가 가속화되고 있는 추세이다. u-헬스케어는 유 무선 네트워크와 밀접한 연관을 맺고 있으며, 이러한 유 무선 네트워크의 사용은 기존의 서비스에서 발생 가능한 보안상의 취약점 및 공격이 u-헬스케어 환경에서도 유사하게 나타나며, 개인 의료정보를 주로 다루는 만큼 그 위험성은 더욱 심각하다 사료된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 u-헬스케어의 보안 위협 및 그에 따른 향후 대책방안에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

  • As an integrated technology with IT and biomedical sciences, U-health offers various healthcare services without time and space limit. In order to make a proper diagnosis, doctors need two key technologies: biosignal measurement and high reliability communication technologies. In this paper, we introduce an implementation process of a bio signal system with using an electrocardiography(ECG) sensor, video, global positioning system(GPS), communication module and micro controller unit(MCU).

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors on behavioral intention in u-health system using Health Promotion Model(HPM) by Pender [11]. This study used PLS-SEM(Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling) method for verification of the proposed model and conducted the analysis with sample data of 216 respondents. As a result of the analysis, a path from individual experience to personal health and also, path from self-efficacy to behavioral intention had the highest influence in the research model. Also, it was confirmed that the only factor that affect health promotion behavior was 'self-efficacy' variable in u-health system. However, in the future time, additional research is needed in that this study has small sample data and needs more clear definition on u-health system.

  • Context aware environment u-health service is to provide health service with recognition of a computer. The computer recognizes that a patient can contact real life in many context. Context aware environment service for recommend have to definition of context data and service recommendations related to factors shall be identified. In this paper, Context aware environment of u-health service will be provide context data related to identifies recommendations factors using multivariate analysis method and recommendations factors creation to decision tree, association rule based decision model. health service recommend for significantly context data can be distinguish through recommendation factors of identify. Also, context data of patient can know preference factors through preference decision model.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the moderating effect of health privacy information on the relationship between the factors that affect the behavioral intention of the usage of u-health system have. Therefore, as a research hypothesis in TRA (Theory of Reasoned Action), self-efficacy and perceived usefulness will have a positive effect on the behavioral intention of the u-health system, and in the path, that personal information factors have an effect on each path. This study used the PLS-SEM methodology to verify the proposed research model. As a result of the analysis, this study showed that the moderating effect of health personal information in the presented model affects to some extent by the increase of R2 explanatory power. However, it was found that it was more consistent with the role of the independent variable rather than the moderating influence on the perceived usefulness.

  • Recently, as we move toward a society with an increasingly aged population, wearable U-health devices in various shapes with smart wear have been developed in order to conveniently measure health variables without using hands in daily life or at home. However, the problem is that only supply of the wearable U-health devices is focused and its applicable devices are studied and developed, which has resulted in lack of awareness of importance of performance evaluation. In this study, two electrodes were fabricated using conductive fabric which can be used as electrode if attached to wearable U-health devices or smart wear in order to measure ECG signal. Two electrodes those were fabricated using conductive fabric were compared the correlation, impedance and CMRR with patch typed Ag-AgCl electrode-normally used for measurement of ECG signal, so that the study would find out if the fabricated electrode can be used with the wearable U-health devices by testing and evaluating performances.
