  • Digital convergence put a huge challenges for broadcast media in terms of integrating user generated content (UGC). Keeping this in mind, objective of the study is to explore the factors that affecting UGC's integration in Broadcast channel from developing countries' perspective. We explored how and why UGC are appearing in Bangladeshi Television news. In-depth interview was used and news editorial level staffs were selected from leading Bangladeshi television channels. Findings suggest that, state interventions in crisis events and lack of experiences to handle crisis reporting played a crucial role to incorporate UGC in television news bulletins. One of the significant findings is that, mere traditional guidelines and work policy of the media houses will not be enough to handle user generated content as well as citizen's participation in news media. Thus, we recommend to formulate a comprehensive user generated content integration policy in the context of Bangladesh.

  • With the technology of the 4th industrial revolution, network traffic is increasing due to an increase in supply, an increase in demand, and an increase in the complexity of traffic patterns. SDN, a concept in which H/W and S/W are separated in order to efficiently manage such massive traffic, is attracting attention as a next-generation network. A lot of research is being conducted on the merits of applying flexible policies by avoiding the problem of rigid vendor dependency by using the SDN controller implemented with S/W Opensource. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an efficient load balancing technique by grouping through the packet structure of the network layer using the control layer and infrastructure layer of SDN and analyzing the packet delay and reception rate.

  • This research emphasized that the importance of ERG elements such as existence needs, relatedness needs, and growth needs. Moreover, it focused on verifying the effects of these three elements on organizational attachment through person job fit. In addition, the mediating role of person job fit was clearly identified as a key variable that can lead to organizational attachment. To verify this, an empirical analysis was conducted on workers engaged in state-owned company, service, manufacturing, and distribution industries in Korea. Through empirical analysis, it was found that all three elements of ERG improve person job fit. Furthermore, person job fit was found to increase the level of organizational attachment. Thus, it was found that person job fit played a partial mediating role in the relationship between the three elements of ERG and organizational attachment. This research also identified which element has the strongest influence on person job fit. Through these results, practical implications were presented and future research directions were discussed.

  • In this study, small and medium-sized manufacturing and distribution businesses were asked to demonstrate how the risks that could arise from implementing ITOs affect their performance. Small and medium-sized enterprises that want to reduce costs or secure competitiveness through outsourcing ITO conducted research to identify and analyze risks of ITO and improve corporate performance. Strategic, technical, and financial risks were selected as independent variables for analysis by the survey method. In addition, relationship risk was selected as a parameter and corporate performance was selected as a dependent variable to conduct a path analysis. The analysis showed that the variables injected as independent variables had indirect and total effects on corporate performance. This can be interpreted as the higher the level of awareness of strategic and technological risks and financial risks, the higher the level of relational risk, and thus the positive impact on corporate performance. We expect to improve corporate performance through analysis of more and more risk factors in the future.

  • This study shows that consumers' attitudes and behaviors are rapidly changing due to the COVID-19 outbreak in a situation where consumption patterns are already changing due to demographic changes such as an increase in the number of single-person households and dual-income couples. To this end, the results of an online survey conducted on 500 panels of Nielsen Korea were used in this study. In particular, consumers were divided into two generation groups (Generation Z vs. Millennial) and analyzed and presented changes in consumption activities and food purchasing behaviors changed by COVID-19. As a result, the existing online distribution trend has been strengthened, and its impact has been amplified by COVID-19. These changes also resulted in different consumption behaviors depending on the degree of concern for COVID-19 by generation. Based on the results of this study, it turns consumers' behavioral changes into new opportunities, focusing on the accelerating a new 'contactless' lifestyle, which will provide managerial implications for the food industry's response strategies in relation to the theoretical significance and in practice.

  • National libraries have a responsibility to intensively develop, preserve, and provide national collections, which are the knowledge and cultural heritage of a country. In particular, in order to achieve 'advancing the base for access and preservation of national knowledge resources' among the four goals to fulfill the mission of the National Library of Korea, it is necessary to strengthen the national knowledge resources by expanding the external scope to not only domestic materials but also foreign materials. In other words, The National Knowledge Information Center collects the latest and retroactive data produced in Korea, as well as high-quality academic materials produced, distributed, and preserved in foreign countries as well as materials related to Korea. This study drew implications by investigating and analyzing the status of foreign collection and services of national libraries in developed countries. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to compare and evaluate the current level of collection of foreign collections of the National Library of Korea, and then present a strategy to secure high-quality academic and foreign materials related to Korea.

  • The e-commerce had been expanding in the distribution channels, recently. Then, COVID-19 and social distancing rules led to a surge of online hypermarkets volume. In this study, we examined workplace environments of delivery drivers, firstly. Second, this study was also designed to examine the influencing factors of the perceived working environments change on the job satisfaction, dealing with the recent surge of work. We analyzed 324 data using various ways like descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance, factor analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The analysis revealed that their job satisfaction was lower than the average score and their working time was too long. In addition, the changes of the workplace environments were divided into labor intensity change and working condition change, which all had a significant effect on job satisfaction. So we should devise some long-term and short-term plans to make the level of job satisfaction among delivery drivers high on workplace environments.
