Kindergarten and Elementary School Teachers′ Perception on the Gifted Children and the Education for the Gifted and talented (초등 및 유치원 교사의 영재교육에 대한 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the kindergarten and elementary school teachers' perception on the gifted children and the education for the gifted and the talented. One hundred and fifteen kindergarten teachers and 116 elementary school teachers participated in this study as subjects. Teachers perceptions on the gifted children were generally right, except the relationships between the giftedness and birth order, the domain-specificity of the creativity, and the physical growth, sense of humor, and the socio-economic status of the gifted children. Teachers perceptions on the education for the gifted and talented also were generally right. Especially the elementary school teachers perceptions were higher than those of the kindergarten teachers.

Awareness of parents and infants on radiation leak in Fukushima in Japan (일본 후쿠시마 방사선 누출에 관한 유치원의 유아와 학부모 인식 조사)

  • The object of this study is to suggest national health material on the basis of awareness of parents and infants on radiation leak in Fukushima in Japan. This research investigated and analysed the 147 questionnaire forms out of 155 who are composed of 97 parents in 'H' kindergarten living in 'G' metropolitan city and 50 infants (5 years old, 27boys and 23 girls). In conclusion, the role of press is very important on the matter of radiation leak damage, and as a result, specific and practical management of curriculum regarding it is essential to provide parents and infants with useful information to improve national wellbeing.

Radon Concentration at N-Kindergarten in G-City (G광역시 N유치원의 라돈 농도)

  • In this study, To subject the constructed at N-kindergarten in G-city, the position is closed window and opened window was measured using a measuring instrument for radon. The measured results indicate that the measurement was carried out in concentrations of radon gas measured at N-kindergarten is low than United States in the radon concentration in air public 4pCi called radon gas baseline maximum allowable concentrations. As a result, radon exposure is not a problem, but when the accumulation radon gas in the lungs, get damaged same lung cancer. Be defensive of kindergarten windows open for ventilation and dust removal be possible to reduce the exposure.

  • 빠르게 성장하는 유비쿼터스 환경 속에서 보육서비스 대부분 기반 기술 개발이나 학습 시스템 기술 개발에 한정되어있다. 따라서 이제는 유아가 성장하는 시기에 필요한 다양한 탐색적 경험이 제공되어 바람직한 성장과 발달을 도와주는 유비쿼터스 환경 기반 보육서비스의 질적 수준 향상을 위한 개발 단계에서 활용할 수 잇는 이용자 중심의 보육서비스 가이드라인에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이를 위해 유치원을 이용하거나 관련된 이용자의 행태에 영향을 주는 정황(Context)의 중요성이 강조된다. 본 연구에서는 유치원 환경 Context 요소와 보육서비스 개발을 위한 도메인을 선정하고 유치원에서 유아를 중심으로 정황 조사(Contextual Inquiry)를 통해 현장에서 일어나는 다양한 태스크들의 시나리오를 행동 절차 순으로 분류하여 행태 정보를 구조화 하고 유아를 중심으로 관련된 사람과 사물 간의 상호관계에 대한 포괄적인 정황의 흐름을 분석하여 다이어그램을 통해 모델링 하여 사용자 니즈를 도출함으로써 유아의 상호관계와 행태 중심의 유비쿼터스 환경 기반 보육서비스를 기획하고 개발하는 단계에 고려해야 할 요소를 제시하였다.

유치원과 초등학교 1학년 활동중심 수학교육의 실천 방안 모색

  • 유치원과 초등학교 1학년 아동은 그들의 발달특성과 학습의 효율성 측면을 고려할 때, 일상생활 경험과 놀이 활동 등을 이용한 활동중심 교육방법으로 상호 연계성있게 수학을 학습하는 것이 바람직하다. 이러한 필요성에서, 본 연구는 현행 교육과정 상에 제시된 수학교육의 성격과 목표, 내용, 교수방법, 평가 면에서 유치원과 초등학교 1학년 간에 얼마나 연계되어 있는 지를 분석해 보았다. 분석 결과, 유치원과 초등학교 1학년 수학 교육과정 간에는 수학교육의 방향 및 목표, 내용 영역, 교수학습 방법, 평가 면에서 대체로 높은 연계성을 보였다. 그러나 교과 편제나 명칭, 세부적인 내용 구성에서 차이가 있었으므로 이를 해결하기 위한 교육과정 상에서의 연계 실천 방안을 제시해 보았다. 그리고 실제 수학 교육 활동측면에서의 실천 방안으로서 활동중심 교수학습 자료의 개발, 수학 영역 설치를 통한 개별화 교육의 실천, 가정과의 협력 방안 등을 제시해 보았다.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the problem of mathematic education of Korean Kindergarten, to search for the solution of the problem in korean Kindergarten. In particular, materials are mostly made and used by the teachers themselves, consuming too much time. Mathematics education materials available in Kindergartens were found to be insufficient. The reasons were the lack of effort by teachers to develop new materials as well as the lack of marketed materials.

Happiness of kindergarten teachers: A Q-methodology approach (유치원 교사의 행복에 대한 인식 : Q방법론적 접근)

  • This study analyzed the structural types of happiness that kindergarten teachers feel and the features of each happiness type to increase the happiness of kindergarten teachers. The subjects of this study were 41 kindergarten teachers working at a kindergarten in D city. They were chosen randomly. The Q-methodology, which allows in-depth measurements of people's subjective perception of happiness, was employed. The results and further analysis revealed 4 structural types of happiness: 1) self-realization type, who feels happiness while setting goals and achieving them; 2) inner satisfaction type, who thinks that happiness can be found in the current status; 3) social relationship type, who emphasizes a good relationship with others; and 4) personal belief type, who emphasizes living life in one's own style without being bothered by others.

The Effects of Kindergarten Teachers' Job Stress and Emotional Labor on Their Job Satisfaction (유치원교사의 직무스트레스와 정서노동이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of the study is to investigate the effects of kindergarten teachers' job stress and emotional labor on their job satisfaction. The subjects were 164 kindergarten teachers in the Metropolitan area in South Korea. We measured subjects' job stress, emotional labor, and job satisfaction using the self-reporting questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation analyses, and analysis of multiple regression using SPSS 22.0. In the procedure of data analyses, while the total scores were used for job stress and job satisfaction, each score of sub-factors (natural acting, deep acting, and pretending acting) were used for emotional labor. Consequently, kindergarten teachers' job stress and pretending acting showed significantly negative correlations with job satisfaction, but natural acting had significantly positive correlation with it. In addition, kindergarten teachers' job stress and pretending acting had significantly negative effects on their job satisfaction, and natural acting had significantly positive effect on it.

The Effects of Kindergarten Teachers' Job Satisfaction and their Life Satisfaction on Teacher-Children Interactions (유치원 교사의 직무만족도와 삶의 만족도가 교사-유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of job satisfaction and life satisfaction on teacher-children interactions in kindergarten teachers. The tests of Job satisfaction scale, Life Satisfaction scale, Teacher-Children Interactions scale were administered to 320 public and private kindergarten teachers located in Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do. The statistical method employed for data analysis was Pearson's correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of study were as follows. First, the higher factors of job satisfaction (the teaching consciousness, development, innovation, autonomy, fellowship, and reward), the higher the teacher-children interaction. The higher the workload, the lower the verbal interaction between teacher-children. Second, the higher the life satisfaction of kindergarten teachers, the higher the emotional, verbal, and behavioral interaction between teachers and children. Third, the relative influences of the predictors on the overall interaction between teacher and children are life satisfaction (β=.24), development (β=.22), and fellowship (β=.16) and the explained variance are 25%.
