유치원 4세반에서 간식과 점심시간의 교육적 의미 재조명 (Reinterpretation of Educational Meanings of Snack and Lunch Time in a Kindergarten Class of 4-Year-Old Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine educational meanings of snack and lunch time of 4-year-old children and their teachers in a kindergarten class. The study was done in the Class of 4-year-old children in S Kindergarten located in Songpa-gu, Seoul. And 30 children of this class, Teacher A who is the teacher in charge of the Class, and Teacher B who is the researcher and teacher in charge of it participated in it. The study was carried out by the ethnography method and data collection was done through participation observation, interviews, video and voice recording, and data collection of photography shooting. The results are as follow: First, the children had private conversations, shared their cultures, deepened and expanded their existing concepts, expressed their emotions and relieved their tension, and strengthened relations with friends during the snack and lunch time. Second, the teachers promoted conversation and communication, gave the opportunity that the children can set the lunch table by themselves and tried to make the snack and lunch time with the children by discussing what they are how they are operated with them together. In conclusion, the snack and lunch time can be more meaningful time for children when there are proper educational plans and support of teachers which are considered children's viewpoints.

유치원의 실외 놀이 시설과 설비 실태에 대한 평가 분석 (An Analysis on the Actual Conditions of Kindergarten Outdoor facilities in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the actual conditions of kindergarten outdoor facilities in Korea, based on their establishment types and their located areas. The subjects for the survey were 6,819 kindergartens, and the subjects for sample-depth survey were the 10% of the total group, The study was conducted with an online survey and an on-the-spot survey, Spss 12.0 was used for statistics analysis, Most outdoor facilities of kindergartens in Korea consisted of playgrounds with soil or sand and complex playing equipments, The rate of Kindergartens' owning and utilizing their educational equipments was high. The educational utility of kindergarten outdoor facilities was high, too, but the needs of public kindergartens and that of private kindergartens were different. The 3% of private kindergartens had playgrounds on the roof, so they needed to be inspected periodically by the authorities. The kindergartens attached to the primary schools needed independent playgrounds of primary schools, Most kindergartens are required to explore diverse paving materials of their playgrounds and to develop outdoor equipments for childrens' creative playing.

유아교육 공교육화에 대한 유치원과 초등학교 교사와 부모의 인식 (A Survey on Teacher's and Parent's Recognition of Kindergarten and Elementary School about Early Childhood Education to Public One)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the teacher's and parent's recognition of kindergarten and elementary school about the public education in early childhood education. Especially they included the recognition of concept and necessity, preconsideration, and the direction of future policy of early childhood education to public one. The subjects were 182 teachers and 190 parents in kindergarten and elementary school in Korea. The data was analyzed by Frequency, Percentage, and Chi-Square. The main results were as follows; 1. Teachers and parents defined the concept of public education of the early childhood education as a system which puts a direction in operation and support the finances of national and local government for public and private kindergarten. In addition, teachers and parents thought that the public education was necessary because early childhood was important in developmental aspects. 2. Teachers and parents insisted that the expansion of understanding about public education should be preconsidered and various early childhood programs should be developed. 3. Teachers and parents also agreed that the public education policy should be based on the model and should be progressed sequentially. But they distrusted the current policy.

유치원 놀이 규칙에 대한 교사-유아 상호작용에서 교사 전략과 유아 전략에 영향을 미치는 변인 탐색 (Exploration of related variables to teacher strategy and child strategy of teacher-child interaction about play rules in kindergarten)

  • The purpose of this research is to explore the strategy of teacher and the strategy of child in teacher-child interaction according to related variables. The participants of this research are 2 classroom teachers and their 54 5-year-old kindergarten children(27 boys and 27 girls). To collect the data, child's classroom activities were observed and videotaped using event sampling 90 times(30 times per beginning, middle, and end). Repeated test, two-way ANOVA, Scheffe test used for data analysis. The results of this research were as followed; First, over time there were differences between strategies of teacher and strategies of child during teacher-child interaction. Second, in child variables there were differences in strategies of teacher and strategies of child during teacher-child interaction according to child's gender. Third, in environment variables there were differences between strategies of teacher and strategies of child according to play rules and play areas.

유치원 단일연령 교실과 혼합연령 교실에서의 아동의 극놀이 행동 (Children's Dramatic Play Behaviors in Same-Age and Mixed-Age Preschool Classrooms)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine children's dramatic play and dramatic play themes in the same-age and mixed-age kindergarten classrooms. The subjects were 45 children in three classrooms of 4-year-olds, 69 children in three classrooms of 5-year-olds, and 60 children in three mixed-age classrooms of 4-and 5-year-olds. Observations were conducted by videotape recordings. Observation periods were of five-minutes duration. There were ten observations of children's indoor free-play periods. Four-and five-year-olds in mixed-age classrooms were more likely to engage in group-dramatic play than 4-and 5-year-olds in same-age classrooms. Four-year-olds in mixed-age classrooms were more likely to engage in domestic and family, war/violence, school, animal, and vehicle play themes than 4-year-olds in same-age classrooms. However, 5-year-olds in mixed-age classrooms were more likely to engage in family and school play themes than 5-year-olds in same-age classrooms. 5-year-olds in same-age classrooms were more likely to engage in vehicle and animal play themes than 5-year-olds in mixed-age classrooms. 5-year-olds in same-age classrooms did not differ from 5-year-olds in mixed-age classrooms on the war/violence themes used during dramatic play. In terms of sex differences, boys were more likely to engage in violence, adventure fantage themes than girls. Conversely girls were more likely to engage in family/marriage static play themes than boys.

유치원 현장과 연계한 유아수학교육 수업을 통한 예비유아교사의 지식 및 인식 변화 탐색 (Exploring Changes of Pre-Service Teachers' Knowledge in Early Childhood Education through a Field-Based Math Lesson)

  • The objective of this study was to follow up changes in knowledge related to the mathematics education field work of preliminary early childhood teachers. The subjects of this research were 28 students who were taking mathematics education courses in early childhood education departments at various universities. This research ran for 15 weeks and was conducted through field work relating to mathematics education. The study collected data from pre-service teachers' knowledge, the diagram of concept, writing journals, interviews, and materials from the internet. Through this procedure, pre-service teachers' knowledge for mathematics education could later be expanded, ordered, and integrated. In addition, pre-service teachers not only understood the importance of contents and levels of lesson plans, but also learned how to utilize educational media to make effective lessons. Furthermore, pre-service teachers realized that the mathematical concepts of students could be expanded depending on the contents and methods of pre-service teachers' lesson plans and students could then apply these concepts into daily situations.

4세 영재아들의 유아교육기관 생활 - 문화 기술적 사례연구

  • 본 연구에서는 4세 영재아들이 유아교육 기관에서 일반 유아들과 생활하는 과정을 문화기술적(ethnographic) 연구방법을 통하여 분석해 보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 서울시에 위치한 유치원의 만 4세 남자 유아와 전주시에 위치한 어린이집에 다니는 만 4세 여자 유아를 대상으로 선정하였다. 1999년 4월 2일 - 1999년 6월 18일까지 14주 동안 진행되었다. 관찰은 1주일에 2-3회 1시간 정도씩 참여하였다. 교사와의 면담은 6차례에 걸쳐 총 2시간 10분 동안의 면담을 녹음하여 분석하였다. 부모와의 면담은 4차례에 걸쳐 실시되었으며, 영재아를 지도해 본 교사 6명에게 설문지를 실시하였다. 수집된 사례는 부호화하고 범주화 한 뒤 분석하였다. 본 연구는 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교육기관에서 4세 영재아들은 풍부한 지식과 우수한 기억력, 부한한 상상력, 문제해결 능력과 논리적 추리 능력, 흥미와 집착, 다른 장난과 배회, 포기와 합리화의 특징을 가지고 있었다. 둘째, 4세 영재아들의 또래 친구들과 자기 중심적 사고와 자기 주장, 갈등과 화합, 놀이 주도자와 창안자의 관계를 갖고 있었다. 셋째, 부모들은 자녀에 대해 강력한 지지자, 정원사와 같은 신념과 양육태도를 가지고 있었다. 넷째, 교사들을 영재아 지도에 대해 놀라운 아이, 방해하는 아이로 인식하였으며, 논리적 설득과 중재, 제재와 격리의 방법으로 지도 하고 있었으며, 수용 혹은 지나친 인정, 그리고 방치하는 것에 대해 갈등을 갖고 있었다.

교육 시설 생활인프라 특성을 고려한 지역 프로파일링 연구 - 서울시 광진구 중심으로 - (Regional Profiling by Considering Educational Facilities - Centered on Gwangjin-gu, Seoul -)

  • This study has a purpose to profile local sectors into meaningful groups by using facilities rates of Social Overhead Capital(SOC) for daily life. Comparing SOC for daily life among the meaningful groups, the profiling and comparison results bring the comprehensive understanding about the educational facilities in local sectors. For the research purpose, this study utilized Latent Profile Analysis(LPA) by using variables such as population, road information, SOC for daily life, usage of land, possession of land, and appraised value of land from the 2018 Geographic Information System(GIS) dataset of Gwangjin-gu, where is one of the administrative district of Seoul City. Results showed that there are four latent groups of sectors among 904 local sectors(100 squared-meters sector per each) in Gwangjin-gu. By comparing the four latent groups by using LPA, the results diagnose each sector's status and help to improve the policy about educational facilities. Specifically, by using dataset for SOC of daily life, there are four groups of local sectors and each group has different features. Based on the different features of local sector groups, there can be improved management of educational facilities matching with each group's features.

농촌정주지원 서비스 현황 및 요구에 대한 사례조사 - 경남 밀양시 하남읍 수산리 중심으로 - (A Case Study on the Rural Settlement Support Services for Rural Residents)

  • 농촌 주민의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 범정부적 투자가 이루어져 왔지만 농촌지역의 사회서비스 기준을 도시와 비교해 보면 아직도 부족한 부분이 많이 있다. 농촌 인구가 감소되고 있는 상황에서 지속적인 하드웨어 중심적 투자에 대한 의문제기와 함께 농촌주민들이 최소한의 공적 서비스를 활용할 수 있는 기반이 되어야한다는 의견이 대립되고 있는 가운데 그 해결책을 찾기 위하여 '농촌 서비스 기준'을 설정하자는 논의가 추진되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도농복합권역으로 370가구 1,650명이 거주하고 있으며 농가는 약 70호, 비농가는 300호이었고 대부분 주민들이 상업에 종사하고 있는 경남 밀양시 하남읍 수산리를 대상으로 농촌 정주지원 서비스 현황 및 요구에 대한 사례분석을 실시하였다. 수산리는 낙동강 나루와 수산장의 역사로 이루어진 마을이다. 70~80년대에는 마을 전체가 시장일 정도로 장이 활성화 되었으나 현재는 전통시장이 붕괴한 상황이었다. 지난 3년간 이주한 가구는 40호, 이주해온 가구는 20호 정도로 매년 인구가 줄고 있는 상황이다. 도로/교통 현황은 밀양시와, 대구, 부산으로 나가는 버스가 시간마다 한 대씩 배차되어 있고, 종합병원, 보건소, 한의원, 약국 등의 의료시설이 갖춰져 있으며, 과거에는 낙동강 범람으로 인한 피해사례가 많았으나 현재는 제방을 쌓아 홍수 피해를 없앴으며, 공기와 식수가 좋고 치안 걱정은 없었으나 전화를 통한 사기가 극성이라고 하였다. 문화/여가생활면에서는 읍사무소에서 일부 프로그램을 진행하고 있으나 참여율이 저조한 것으로 나타났다. 유치원/초등학교/중고등학교 및 사설학원도 있어 교육환경은 비교적 좋은 편이라고 할 수 있었다. 수산리는 마을의 중심에 있는 대규모 장을 둘러싸고 상권이 형성되어 대부분 상업에 종사하고 있었으나 수산장이 쇠퇴하고 상권이 죽어 생활경제면에 어려움이 있다고 하였다. 향후 '4대강 살리기' 정책과 '신공항 입지' 선정에 따른 땅값 상승과 경제 재생 등에 대하여 마을 주민들의 관심이 높았고 복지회관이 생겨 다양한 복지프로그램과 서비스를 받고 싶다고 하였다.

누리과정 지도서에 제시된 이야기나누기 활동의 인성교육 요소 분석 (Analysis on personality education element of discussion activity in the Nuri-curriculum guidebook)

  • 본 연구는 인성교육 관련 요소가 누리과정 지도서에 제시된 이야기나누기 활동에서 어떻게 적용되고 있는지 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 누리과정 지도서에 제시된 이야기나누기 활동의 인성교육 요소를 연령별, 생활주제별로 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 누리과정 지도서에 제시된 이야기나누기 활동의 연령별 인성교육 요소를 살펴보면, 만 5세, 만 4세, 만 3세 순으로 인성교육 요소를 많이 포함하고 있었다. 또한 모든 연령에서 배려, 존중, 협력의 인성교육 요소가 높은 비중을 차지하고 있는 반면, 효와 나눔은 다소 낮은 비중을 차지하고 있었다. 둘째, 누리과정 지도서에 제시된 이야기나누기 활동의 생활주제별 인성교육 요소를 살펴보면, '유치원', '나와 가족', '우리동네', '환경과 생활' 등의 특정 주제에 인성교육 요소가 집중되고 생활주제별로 분포가 고르지 않게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 누리과정 지도서의 이야기나누기 활동에서 인성교육 요소가 어떻게 실시되고 있는지를 볼 수 있는 자료로 균형 잡힌 인성교육 요소가 누리과정 지도서의 이야기나누기에 포함될 수 있도록 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
