Automation of Service Level Agreement based on Active SLA (Active SLA 기반 서비스 수준 협약의 자동화)

  • As demand for IT services increase, which are based on SOA and cloud computing, service level agreements (SLAs) have received more attention in the parties concerned. An SLA is usually a paper contract written in natural language. SLA management tools which are commercially available, implement SLAs implicitly in the application with a procedural language. This makes automation of SLA management difficult. It is also laborious to maintain contract management systems because changes in a contract give rise to extensive modifications in the source code. We see the source of the trouble is the existence of documentary SLAs (paper contracts) and corresponding executable SLAs (contracts coded in the procedural language). In this paper, to resolve the current SLA management problems we propose an active SLM (Active Service Level Management) system, which is based on the active SLA (Active Service Level Agreement). In the proposed system, the separated management and processing of dual SLAs can be unified into a single process with the introduction of active SLAs (ASLAs).

A Development of a Web Based Supporting System for Writing Construction Project Specification (Web기반 공사시방서 작성 시스템 개발 방안)

  • The Korean government established a domestic specification system, and regulated that owner should produced construction project specifications, instead of special provisions, in design phase, January 1998. But in Korea the ability of construction engineers for construction project specification are insufficient. So the government had built up a database of standard specifications and developed a supporting system for writing construction project specification(SPECMAKE) in 1999. However, it is a PC base stand-alone system, so it is not convenient to update the database. In order to overcome these limitations, the purpose of this paper builds up a database of construction criteria and develops a automatic writing system for construction project specification on web base. The database contains standard specifications, design and construction guidelines related with construction business. And this paper describes the frameworks, the components, and the functions of the specifications writing system for the construction projects.

  • In this paper, we propose cookie protection-key management system for cookie protection and maintain separate cookie protection-key of each user. We provide integrity, confidentiality, and user authentication of cookie by using registered cookie protection-key and applying encryption techniques. And, we use the technique for hiding the URL of an internal document to a user to minimize the problem of its exposure. When this system is applied to the intranet of an enterprise, it will be able to provide a security to cookie and minimize the problem of internal document exposure by an internal user.

  • Since beginning of subway construction in 1974, for supplying the demand for increasing urban traffic and solving the traffic jam due to expansion of society and elevation of an individual income, the $1^{st}\;and\;2^{nd}$ construction have been almost done and $3^{rd}$ has been driving forward. However, according to an increment of com-mon usage with the passage of time, structures are superannuated and the amount of improvement and repairs keeps on increasing continuous. And many problems are taking place at underground space because of new constructions for underground facilities such as urban gas, electric power, waterworks, and sewerage. In consequence. The consideration of a counterplan for safety is required deeply This study analyzed problems on maintenance of structure about $1^{st}$ class subway, and will present means that a manage civil structures scientifically and systematically by using GSIS concept that imported into several organizations for facility management recently as making digital graphic elements and historic data into a database rather than using an old method - documents and paper drawings.

  • Becoming construction projects larger and more complicated, and utilizing more varied and complex contracting and delivery systems in the industry, integrating information and managing constructability from project inception to completion became the most critical tasks for the successful project management. However, current industry practices of constructability analysis which are too much dependent on field engineers and managers' experiences, are not performed efficiently and also not managed effectively. Then the scope, method, and procedure in performing analysis tasks are not certain as well as not systematic, In addition, due to using 2D based drawings and documents, information required at project phases for the analysis is inconsistent and inaccurate. This study aims to suggest the use of BIM technology and functions for solving various problems of current constructability practices. In particular, constructability analysis tasks performed at design and construction stages are identified and their adaptability, applicability, and benefits of BIM are investigated through interviews on constructability and BIM professionals in the industry.

  • In recent years, major security data such as research data and confidential documents have been leaked to the outside due to the carelessness of the companies and research institutes performing IT related services such as information technology projects and research and development of financial institutions, companies and public institutions is. Leakage cases are caused by leakage of personal information due to lack of security management of information system maintenance companies, such as unauthorized leakage or storage of related materials in outsourcing service process. In this paper, we analyzed the types and management status of service business through the environmental survey of corporate informatization business and analyzed the problems in development and maintenance using external service companies. Furthermore, in this paper, we provide an information system service that focuses on the business activities based on the items considered, and at the same time, it provides the informatization service for companies that can prevent infiltration of viruses and hacking from the outside. This paper presents a methodology for enhancing security for the system construction.

  • The architectural drawing, construction project specification, etc. are included in the contract of a documents. However, construction project specification, for being documentation, is not utilized to such an extent. The reason is that specification information is difficult in collecting information in relation to the architectural drawing, material finishing list and other architectural information. Therefore, an integrated model, which can be associated with other architectural information, is needed, and a DB based on this integrated model must be established in order for it to be utilized in design, construction, and management. The DB, which is established through this process, must be updated according to modification in design, and construction. Furthermore the specification must be in document on the web for reference. Consequently in this research, the structure of integrated model has been introduced, and it has made the search and preparation of the integrated model on the Internet, using the specification information DB established for the mutual reference of DB, possible. The improvements of construction project specification standards are expected by this system. Also, it will bring about Improvements upon claim prevention, and design, construction, management qualities. Furthermore, it will make the use of information more convenient in practical business such as order agency, design service and building site.

  • XLink is XML Linking Language that defines links between XML documents or XML elements. It uses XML syntax to create structures that can describe links similar to the simple unidirectional hyperlinks of HTML, as well as more sophisticated links. There exist several relationships between resources that linked by XLink. Without supports from XML Repository for these relationship management, there is a huge overhead related to the management of relationships during both application development and maintenance, since the relationships need to be hard-coded directly into the application program itself. In this paper, we propose an XLink supporting system in object repository. We describe the design and implementation of this system on top of XDOM(persistent DOMlink XML repository). To support XLink, our system offers referential relationship semantics, extended link and the expansion of DOM tree for XLink.

  • Authentication and access control are essential requirements for the information security of distributed environment. Delegation is process whereby an initiator principal in a distributed environment authorizes another principal to carry out some functions on behalf of the former. Delegation of access rights also increases the availability of services offer safety in distributed environments. A delegation easily provides principal to grant privileges in the single domain with Role-Based Access Control(RBAC). But in the multi-domain, initiators who request delegation may require to limit the access right of their delegates with restrictions that are called delegate restriction to protect the abuse of privilege. In this paper, we propose the delegation view as function of delegation restrictions. Proposed delegation view model not only prevent over-exposure of documents from granting multiple step delegation to document sharing in multi-domain with RBAC infrastructure but also reduce overload of security administrator and communication.

The Historical Understanding of the U. S. Secret Records Management (미국의 비밀기록관리체제에 대한 역사적 이해)

  • The U. S. government has a long history to classify and manage governmental records which are created, collected, and preserved for itself. During the colonial period before the independence, the U. S. mostly practiced the maintenances of secret records and restrictions of access to the records following a long convention without any specific legal authority. Since establishment of the U. S. Constitution, the government had kept secret records on the basis of constitutional authority. However, the U. S. government began to take shape the secret records management system when it participated in the World War I, which required the system to reflect the needs in reality to manage drastic increases in important military and foreign relation documents. The World War II made the U. S. government strengthen its secret records management system, and its conception of secret records management system at that time has sustained until now. It can be said that the current secret records management system of the U. S. government continues to be managed by constitutional authorities and the executive orders which are opt to change. This article intends to review the secret records management system of the U. S. from the initial history of the U. S. to the Cold War. To understand its system of secret management, the paper investigates the U. S. secret records management history by dividing into three periods: the period of establishment of its tradition(the Colonial era~just before the WWI); the period of taking shape of its system (the WWI~the WWII); and the period of current conception of its system. The criteria of these divisions are created based on the differences of the laws relevant to the secret records and the application methods of secret management system in reality.
