Threshold detection technique for code acquisition using maximum mismatched correlation value (부정합된 최대 상관값을 이용한 초기 동기 임계치 결정 기법)

  • This paper describes an automatic threshold decision using a maximum mismatched correlation value in the direct sequence spread spectrum (DS-SS) system. For received PN codes with different single-to-noise ratio (SNR), this scheme is able to detect a desired threshold value in the search mode, i.e. a maximum mismstched correlation value, so that value is utilized as a threshold for the verification mode. Performance of the proposed scheme in both the additive white gaussian noise (AWGN) and frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channels is analyzed through the Monte Carlo simulation. And hardware implementation of this scheme using a DSP processor is demonstrated. The proposed acquisition shceme is compared to the conventional constant threshold (CT) scheme, and significant improvement of performance is shown. Analysis of system performance in the verification mode is presented, and key quantities such as the false alarm probability and the detection probability are derived in a AWGN channel.

  • The positive branch confocal unstable resonator equipped with an intra-cavity beam splitter has been studied experimentally to achieve low beam divergence in the copper vapor laser. Output laser beams of 0.15 mrad divergence was achieved from the laser system with a 10 cm curvature convex mirror (M=30), and laser beams of 0.1 mrad was achieved for a 5 cm curvature convex mirror (M=60). The power density of the far-field beam from the M=60 resonator laser was 130 times higher than the case of the 2 mrad-operation with the plane-parallel resonator. We also observed the self-mode-locking from the unstable resonator laser pulses.

  • The design of a piezoelectric actuator for micro droplet ejecting system has bee studied. The actuator has been evaluated by using commercial FEM package and its displacement are measured by LDV(Laser Doppler Vibrometer). The characteristics of the actuator are evaluated with varation in a ratio of width of PZT to that of membrane and thickness ratio of PZT to membrane.

  • 전력계통에서 과전압이 발생할 경우 보호 장치들의 트립이 발생하거나 기기들의 영구적인 손상을 가져 올 수 있다. 특히 낙뢰에 의한 뇌 서지는 여러 과전압 중 가장 큰 크기를 가지며, 절연 설계 등에 대해 매우 중요한 현상이다. 특히, 발전기 및 주변압기가 연계된 계통에서의 뇌 서지는 피뢰기의 위치 선정, 각종 제어 회로에의 영향 등의 관점에서 검토되어야 할 대상이다. 본 논문에서는 과도해석 프로그램인 EMTP-RV를 이용하여 발전소 및 주변압기 연계 계통을 모델링하고, 낙뢰에 의한 과전압이 송전선로에 발생하였을 때 발전기 및 주변압기연계 계통에서 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 모의하고 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 EMTP-RV를 이용하여 선로가압 시 발생하는 개폐서지에 대해 분석하였다. 신안산S/S$\sim$남안산S/S의 154kV 지중케이블 2회선 실계통 선로 모델을 구성하여 부하단의 크기 변화에 따른 조건으로 시뮬레이션 하였으며 그 결과를 분석하였다.

  • 전력계통은 송전선로, 발전기, 변압기 등의 다양한 요소들로 구성된다. 이러한 전력계통 내에서 스위칭 또는 낙뢰 등에 의해 과도현상이 발생할 경우, 고려해야 할 정도의 과전압이 발생하며, 이의 분석은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 전력계통 과도해석 프로그램인 EMTP-RV를 사용하여 발전기와 주변압기 연계 계통을 모델링하고, 계통 내에서 발생하는 과전압을 모의하였다. 또한 발생한 과전압이 제어회로에 미치는 영향을 모의하고, 분석하였다.

Effects of Hear Teratment on the Insulation Layer of Non-oriented Silicon Steel Sheets (열처리 조건이 무\ulcorner향성 규소강판의 절연피막에 미치는 영향)

  • The effect of heft treatment on the characteristic properties of insulation layer is studied for two kinds of non-oriented silicon steels, which were insulation-coates with various kinds of inorganic and inorganic-organic complex coating solutions. In addition, how the carbon contained in the insulation layer would affect the carbon content and the magnetic properties of the steel substrates is examined. Lower temperature heat treftment ($480^{\circ}C$ for 0.5hr) is found to render morw favorable surface qualities, wheras higher temperature heat treatment ($790^{\circ}C$ for 2hr) better core loss due to grin growt occurred during the heat treatment. Decarburization of the steel substrate is also found unaffectrd by the presence of carbon in the insulation layer.

  • Samples were obtained with a set net during 7 months between March and October in 1987 off the coast of Hwasun, southern part of Cheju Island. Most of organisms, representing 36 species, were less than 20cm(96%) in length, and 30g(74%) in weight. The four most abundant species were jack mackerel, Trachurus japonicus ; squid, Todarodes pacificus ; mackerel, Scomber japonicus ; and Apogon semilineatus, which comprised about 89% of the total individuals and about 70% of the total weight. Diversity index, the number of species and information index for individual were high in early spring, even though biomass was not abundant. On the other hand, diversity index and information index for individual were relatively high in August in spite of low occurrence of the species number. A cluster analysis of 24 species which appeared more than twice during the 7 samplings were illustrated from the similarity matrix. All of the 24species were grouped at the 0.14 similarity level. They were divided into four groups at 0.50 level.

  • In general residual stress is measured by X-ray diffraction method but in case of bonding residual thermal stress it is inadequate technique to examine the stress singularity. Therefore Two-dimensional elastic boundary element analyses were carried out to investigate the residual thermal stress and stress singularity of bonding interface in Al/Epoxy. This boundary element results were compared with the strain gauge measurements. The effects of different interface models, sub-element and adherend thickness are presented and discussed. On the basis of the obtained results, interface delamination causing by normal stress is expected and stress singularity is observed more intensively increasing with adherend thickness. It is concluded that the bonding strength of Al/Epoxy interface can be estimated correctly by taking into account the stress singularity at the edge of the interface.
