And learning means permanent changes from experiences for the individual's. Play and learning, these two elements are united to the genre of serious game since the GBL (game based learning) was lead. Most importantly, in order to achieve their own Hangul learning is the fun. Coupled with fun and learning has an important issue for flow because concentration is low in infants than adults. In this case study is to know about fun factor has been applied effectively to Hangul serious mobile game. 20 Infant Hangul mobile serious games of Google Android mobile game section were selected as a case study based on more than 10,000 downloads and user's review rate by April 22, 2014. After that is currently available on the market can play a variety of cases of infant learning Hangul from previous research of R.Caillois offers four categories of play. As a result of this study will be a based research for infants Hangul serious mobile game reflects the properties of the elements of a fun game that you want to combine learning.

  • "Ito2", an early childhood educational coding game that allows students to learn sequential, loop, and conditional statement concepts through games is introduced. The developed game is a two-stage process of mock and practical classes for children in actual nursing cares, and coding education is conducted for actual children to determine its effectiveness. The degree of change is observed by observing trends in childhood cognitive development performance in all six areas, including parts and the overall, space, observation, shape and measurement, classification, comparison, and listing, as the coding training is conducted. In this paper, the improvement of cognitive development and spatial perceptual abilities were achieved by children playing games with infant functional coding with fun elements plus learning factors.

Educational Serious Game is a game developed for the purpose of learning. And so, in this paper, we produced serious games for education learning for young children. Contents of the game is the digestive system. And we utilized touch and drag which are kinds of intuitive interface of the mobile platform being able to play easy. At the end of each stage, and it contained a scene that can learn the characteristics of the digestive system. After producing this game, we supplemented something that is inadequate through testing. In addition, the learning effect of the game was confirmed by interviews with the teachers. We hope this will be a fun and informative game for the digestive tract to the children.

  • Digital interactives in museums are expanding and user experience is becoming the focus of exhibition design. The purpose of this study was to suggest guidelines for serious games as a part of museum exhibits. To achieve this, studies on museum education, public space HCI, serious games, and universal design were analyzed by using content analysis methods. Results included 16 quality standards from cognitive, physical, and personal/social models. The findings from this study could benefit the design of future museum gaming interactives.

  • In recent, much attention has been paid to the educational serious games that provide both fun and learning effects. However, most educational games have been targeted at the infants and children, and it is still hard to use such games in higher education. On the contrary, this paper aims to develop an educational game for teaching mathematical programming to the undergraduates. It is well known that most puzzle games can be transformed into associated optimization problem and vice versa, and this paper proposes a simple educational game based on the subset sum problem. This game enables the users to play the puzzle and construct their own mathematical programming model for solving it. Moreover, the users are provided with appropriate instructions for modeling and their models are evaluated by using the data automatically generated. It is expected that the educational game in this paper will be helpful for teaching basic programming models to the students in industrial engineering or management science.

  • As of March 2020, this study divided the applications for young children installed on Android-based smart-phones in Korea into top and bottom groups according to review scores, and selected 30 applications each, conducted content analysis and application evaluation, and looked at differences between groups. Through this, by providing objective information on the smart-phone application for young children, it is intended to help parents and early childhood education professionals select high-quality applications, and to present ideas and directions for developing applications suitable for development to application developers. As a result of application content analysis, only data presentation type, simulation type, and game type were found in all the top and bottom groups as for the application type. There was a difference in order. In the case of app purchase cost, the top group in the review score was evenly distributed from the low price to the high price of 100,000 won or more, while the bottom group had few high-priced applications. On the other hand, as a result of application evaluation, a significant difference was found in the entire evaluation score, including all functional elements and all content elements, between the top and bottom groups of the review score. In the case of detailed sub-factors, significant differences were shown in all factors except 'technicality' of functional elements.
