The Location Based Services (LBS) comprise spatial information and mobile technology allow users to receive various services based on Global Positioning Systems (GPS). Although, spatial information based services are very useful, it has lots of possibility to damage privacy protection. But the contents of the legislation by government have problems conflicted between protection of a person's location information and invigoration LBS. Therefore, in this study suggest a causal model to deal with user satisfaction and factors affecting spatial information based services to customer perspective. The proposed research model is tested empirically with one hundred and forty one usable questionnaires and partial least square (PLS) method. Experimental results showed that the usefulness, playfulness, and service quality play a prominent role in influencing the spatial information services satisfaction compared to other factors. But, easy of use and perceived risk are not significant.

Ubiquitous tourism information systems are more and more required to provide cultural contents comprising material heritage, performing art, folk tradition, handicraft or customs of everyday life, along with traditional tourist information about hotel facilities and infrastructure. This study attempts to investigate the effect of tourists' hotel preference attributes in terms of their satisfaction with ubiquitous tourism service. In so doing, 145 questionnaires were used to analyze the satisfaction of u-tourism service and the hotel preference attributes through the field survey. The questionnaires were collected from hotel employees who had experienced the ubiquitous tourism service. It is found that some of hotel-preference attributes positively influence u-tourism satisfaction but not all of them did. Service and differentiation attributes had an impact to u-tour and u-hotel function. And beverage attributes, to u-tour function, and convenience attributes, to u-hotel function. These findings mean that the hotel built u-tourism infrastructure gain a competitive advantage than the otherwise hotel.

This paper describes an Security Manager that integrally manages the Information Service related to RFID middleware, Object Name Service, and Web Service for upper level applications. In order to provide the access control of distributed RFID objects, Single-Sign-On has been implemented by extending existing UCON (Usage Control) model and SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) assertions. The security technology of distributed RFID systems can be included in middleware and protect RFID information. In the future, it can be also applied to ubiquitous sensor networks.

The current status of developing ubiquitous campus is needed to enhance the part of facility management because the development of the campus is focused on education and administration parts. This study is a basic research for facility management of the campus. And this study is to contribute to make a plan for ubiquitous facility management of the campus. The ubiquitous campus can not be developed by only information technology, it should be developed in phases, such as law, administration, etc., and needed long-term commitment. This study will make a basic data for this phase of developing the ubiquitous campus.

As the competitive market environment and industry circumstances become more and more competitive on a daily basis, it is not easy to find an opportunity to initiate small business, or increase performances of Small and Medium Business. The research findings are as follows. First, entrepreneurship(innovation, progressive, social responsibility) has significant effects on the market orientation. Second, company competence(individual resource, technology resource) has significant effects on the market orientation. Third, market orientation has significant effects on the non-financial performance(Internal process performance, learning & growth performance, customer performance). Finally, non-financial performance(Internal process performance, learning & growth performance, customer performance) has significant effects on the financial performance.

As people are aging, there are changes about biological psychological sociological. For these reasons, it will arise that changing body size, decreasing power of body, shrinking of living, becoming dull the senses, and feeling alienation loneliness sense of distance about society. Many studies have been done to give residential space supporting older adults' living. Recently many ubiquitous technologies are being development and applied to residential space. The purpose of this study was to classified ubiquitous services by housing supporting concept and older people's physical, psychological and social characteristics and to identify needs for ubiquitous services by older adults. The researches developed a survey instrument and collected the data from 260 people in July to August, 2008 who were more than 40 years old. The results of this study found that residents' current needs and suggested ubiquitous services in future residential environment for older adults.

IT839 프로젝트 시행에 따라 유비쿼터스 사회를 만들기 위해 임베디드 시스템과 같은 소형 시스템이 대두되고있다. 과거 임베디드 시스템은 통신 및 제어분야에 주로 사용하였으나 현재는 홈네트워크 분야로 확대 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템간의 연결을 통하여 소규모 망을 구성하고 실시간으로 접근 가능한 통신 프로그램을 구현하였다. 시스템 구현을 위해 PXA255 CPU가 내장된 XHYPER255B 보드에 임베디드 리눅스 및 OT기반으로 만든 통신 프로그램을 포팅하였으며 홈네트워크 시스템에 범용 시스템이 아닌, 임베디드 시스템이 적용 가능함을 테스트하여 겯과를 도출하였다.

본 논문은 우리나라가 선도하는 도시모델이며, 첨단도시 기술인 U-City(유비쿼터스 도시)의 서비스 모델 중 하나인 지하시설물 관리를 위한 기술 개발에 있어 필요한 지중 통신 기술에 대한 비교실험에 대한 결과이다. 지하시설물은 전 도시에 걸쳐 넓게 분포되어 있어 관리의 중요성이 높은 시설물이지만 대부분 매립되어 있기 때문에 육안 검사가 불가능하며, 센서를 이용한다고 해도 일반적인 무선통신이 불가능하여 매우 제한적으로 센서를 운영할 수 밖에 없다. 그러나 IT 기술의 발달로 인하여 무선통신기술의 성능이 매우 향상되고 있어 지중에 매설된 시설물관리에 사용할 수 있는 기술이 속속 개발되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 무선통신기술의 한계를 파악하여 U-City의 지하시설물 관리에 적용할 수 있는지 여부를 판단하고자 한다.

아시아 통신 시장의 현황과 발전방향을 살펴볼 수 있는‘부산 ITU텔레콤 아시아 2004’행사가 6일간의 일정을 마치고 지난달 11일 폐막됐다. ‘미래를 주도하는 아시아’라는 슬로건 아래 열린 이번 박람회는 전세계 27개국, 224개 기업이 상용화되거나 상용화단계를 맞고 있는 첨단 유비쿼터스 제품을 선보임으로써, 때와 장소에 구애받지 않고 네트워크에 접속할 수 있는 미래의 IT세상이 우리 앞에 성큼 다가왔음을 보여줬다. 특히 한ㆍ중ㆍ일 등 아시아 주요국가의 통신 서비스ㆍ단말기ㆍ시스템 등이 한 자리에 모여 자웅을 겨루면서 각종 포럼을 통해 기술과 정보를 공유할 수 있었던 기회의 장이었다. 또 아시아의 통신 관련 정부 관계자들이 대거 참여, 각종 포럼을 통해 정부간 정보교류를 확대하고 이를 통해 우리나라의 통신 서비스와 관련 시스템을 해외에 알리는 계기를 마련한 것으로 평가된다. 9월 6일부터 11일까지 화려했던 6일간의 행사 내용을 요약 정리한다.

Society is developing fast. Nobody could expect that computer could be used in purpose of trajectory calculation when the ANIAC was developed in the past. However, nowadays technology development brought computerization which substitutes to mankind's working. And personal computer including internet make our society to be IT age. Such age is in revolutionizing now that could be able to bring a new paradigm. We should prepare to such change which scholars predict the end of revolution could be reached at ubiquitous age. This study is purposing firstly for predicting which changes are arisen in the defence sector when social system will become ubiquitous age. That is how change of ubiquitous paradigm could influence to the defence sector and which appearance could be arisen in ubiquitous defence environment. The second purpose of this study is to predict the characteristics of Planing, Programing, Budgeting, Executing, Evaluating, System (PPBEES) of the defence sector.
