유비쿼터스 사회에서는 언제, 어디서나 네트워크에 연결하여 다양한 형태의 실감 정보를 제공 받아 더욱더 풍요로운 삶을 누릴 수 있을 것이다. 이것은 음성인식 및 영상합성 생성기술, 입체 영상/음향 입?출력기술, IT-NT-BT 기술융합의 가속화로 지능형 실감형 정보처리는 물론 휴먼정보 등의 다양한 정보처리가 가능한 유비쿼터스 휴대 단말기에 의해서 실현될 것이다. 휴대 단말기에서 반도체는 약 $40{\sim}50%$의 비중을 차지하는 가장 중요한 부품이며, 다양한 지능형 실감형 정보를 처리하기 위하여 막대한 양의 데이터를 처리할 수 있는 저전력 고성능 반도체 SoC 개발이 필수적이다. 본고에서는 휴대 단말기에 사용되는 SoC 기술 및 재구성형 프로세서 기술 동향을 파악함으로써, 유비쿼터스 단말기에서 필수적으로 사용될 반도체 SoC 기술의 발전 방향에 대해서 전망해 보았다.

Recently, context-awareness computing becomes prerequisite to pervasive computing, called ubiquitous paradigm. Especially, it plays much of roll as a part of the ubiquitous infrastructures, one of three ubiquitous city components. This paper proposes the optimized procedures to deal with the various hypothetical water-leaking situations in the water supply systems. These procedures suggested in this paper will be employed to develop the context-awareness modules or models for urban infrastructure maintenance in the future works.

본 논문은 Ubiquitous Networking 기술을 기반으로 한 IT와 수산업과의 융합 서비스 기술을 지원하기 위해서 양식장의 지능형 유비쿼터스 시스템의 구축을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 어장의 원격 모니터링 및 관리, 스마트폰을 기반으로 어장의 이상 변화를 감지하고 SMS 등을 통해서 알림을 제공한다. 그리고 양식장 관리 정보 모니터링 및 제어 등을 통한 수산물 양식의 양식장 미생물 유지 및 최적 관리를 위한 유비쿼터스 기술과 양식장의 양식 관리 정보 공유 플랫폼을 개발한다. 따라서 양어장 내의 정보를 무선 센서를 통해 자동으로 수집하고, 수산물의 종류, 성장 단계, 기후 및 환경에 따라 각종 생장 조건을 최적으로 관리함으로써 각 수산물 재배에 최적화된 파라미터를 바탕으로 생장 및 품질을 예측하여 수산물의 생장 및 생산력을 극대화한다.

IT 정보 기술발전에 힘입어 시간과 장소에 제약받지 않고 언제, 어디서나 네트워크 서비스를 이용할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 시대에 우리가 살고 있다. 이러한 유비쿼터스 환경에서 자주 언급되고 핵심 기술로 부각되고 있는 것이 USN(ubiquitous sensor network)의 센서(sensor) 기술이며, 센서를 이용한 응용 기술 연구가 활성화되어 있다. 이러한 센서 기술 개발로 유비쿼터스 환경이 진일보 우리 생활에 영향을 미치고 있지만 향후 센서를 이용한 실생활 접목 기술 또한 더욱 활성화 될 것으로 보인다. 이에 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 기본으로 구성되어야 할 기술인 센서 네트워크에 대한 개요를 살펴본다. 또한 센서로부터 생체 데이터 획득(예, 체온, 맥박 등)을 센서로부터 실시하여 질병 진단을 수행하기 위한 운영체제를 살펴보며, 본 연구를 기반으로 구축하게 될 센서를 이용한 의료진단 시스템 데이터 모델링과 의료진단 시스템 구축을 위한 구정에 관하여 살펴본다.

최근 들어 홈 네트워크에 대한 관심이 날로 높아지고 있다. 정부에서는 IT839 전략의 하나인 홈 네트워크 서비스를 시범 사업을 통해 활성화하려고 하고 있다. 이러한 서비스가 일반 대중들에게 혜택을 누리게 하기 위해서는 많은 노력이 필요한데 이러한 노력 중 가장 중요한 것이 표준화이다. 현재 홈 네트워크 표준화는 사용자 서비스 측면에서 많은 부분에서 개발되고 있다. 하지만 아직까지 시큐리티(Secrutity) 요구 사항이 반영이 되고 있지 않은 부분이 있다. 이러한 시큐리티 요구가 반영되고 있지 않은 이유로는 홈 네트워크의 위협에 대해서 간과하고 있기 때문이다. 홈 네트워크는 유선(Wired)과 무선(Wireless)이 공존하고 있다. 이것들이 새로운 기술이 아니고, 기존에 존재하는 기술을 바탕으로 개발되기 때문에 기존의 외부 위협들은 그대로 홈 네트워크에 반영될 것이다. 또한 향후 도래할 유비쿼터스 환경도 홈 네트워크에 접목될 것이라고 누구나 인지하고 있다. 유비쿼터스와 같은 다양한 환경에서는 현재보다도 복잡한 위협이 존재할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 현재의 홈 네트워크 환경을 분석하고 이에 따르는 보안 위협과 향후 다가올 유비쿼터스 환경의 침해 유형에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.

So far, many researches have been conducted in the area of audio based context recognition. Nevertheless, most of them are based on existing feature extraction techniques derived from linear signal processing such as Fourier transform, wavelet transform, linear prediction... Meanwhile, environmental audio signal may potentially contains non-linear dynamic properties. Therefore, it is a big potential to utilize non-linear dynamic signal processing techniques in audio based context recognition.

This study explored the characteristics of media contents in the past, present and future. Also, it investigated the problems in terms of production of contents and circulation in order to find an effective way of providing contents that can keep pace with ubiquitous environment as well as one source multi use in various platforms and channels. In conclusion, it is viewed easy to expect that content would be the most valuable assets in ubiquitous media environments and the importance of contents will be more growing. Rather than game and enjoyment-related contents, more informative and cultural programs will be more valuable so policy-makers as well as industry need to more cultivate this area. In addition, this study presented the method for copyright protection and suggested that governmental policy fostering independent production should also be followed.

Recently, the university environment has been changed faster than before. It has based on university environment and IT infrastructure. Especially, most of local university has devised development plan such as improving the image and competitive power of campus. Digital, Electronic and Mobile Campus has increased the importance as people realize that the use of technology can improve the learning process. U-Campus of latest IT Technology need a service environment of which the practical use is possible through IT analysis of the members. For example u-campus setup of mobile offers the convenience to the members. We expected thing to use much, even though actual condition investigation about IT environment of the user is insufficient. The inconvenience of mobile could not be activated to the service for proactive use. The importance became the result about u-campus service setup of a company and university center. This service environment cannot offer specific information of center members for which the service implements. In this paper, we studied about members centralized u-campus model through u-recruit, campus information mobile service on university.

The wearable computer that can understand the context of human life and intelligently communicate with various electronic media in ubiquitous computing environment would be very useful as an assistant for humans. In this paper we introduce an intelligent wearable assistance suite. The proposed wearable suite can interact with both humans and electronic media in ubiquitous computing environment. The developed system can sense the interactive electronic media that a user wants to use and also communicate with it. By utilizing these interaction capabilities, it intermediates between each media and the user and offers a friendlier interface to the user who wears this system. We also show the usages of the proposed system by demonstrating its interaction with the interactive electronic media in ubiquitous computing environment.

The general medical information service in hospital recently has been turned into ubiquitous environment. A key requirement in ubiquitous environment is the ability for communication between image viewer realized by DICOM standard and a server supporting medical information to make it possible. In order to apply the proposed scheme, we first realized the server/client networking in mobile terminal environment. Second, we realized DICOM viewer using a PDA to be capable of wireless communication in ubiquitous environment. Third, MIPS(Medical Information Processing System) utilized RFID system to apply the patient's information efficiently. In particular, it showed the capability to communicate image based system unlike previous text based communication.
