Recycling Apparatus of Food Wastes by Self Heating (자체 연소열을 이용하는 음식물류폐기물 재활용장치)

  • 본 논문은 음식물류폐기물의 사료화 및 퇴비화 방법이 독성, 염분, 미숙성 등의 이유로 처리 여건이 어려운 데 대하여, 자체 처리열원으로 활용하여 경제성을 높이고 탈리액 처리 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 2011년부터 유기성 폐기물이 해양투기가 금지됨에 따라 탈리액의 처리문제는 해결해야만 하는 문제로 제기되었으며, 2007년부터 시행되고 있는 함수율 95% 유지 조건은 새로운 처리비용의 증가로 이어졌다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 방법은 음식물류폐기물을 건조 후 자체 열원으로 사용하여 연료비를 획기적으로 줄이고, 탈리액 대신 경제적 효용가치가 있는 응축수를 만들어 해양투기에 의한 비용부담을 없애는 방법이며, 이전의 회분식 방법을 연속처리할 수 있도록 개량한 방법을 제시한다. 응축수는 액비로 사용가능하므로 완전 재활용이 가능하다.

  • Each kinds of the leather process wastes which is occurred in the leather making process is almost more than 50% on the basis of the raw hide. The emitted process wastes are important oil and fats and protein resources because they are composed of animal oil and fats and fibrous protein. But most of them are incinerate or filled up simply as the industrial wastes without applying to recycling into the other use. Thus the problems of environmental pollution are becoming more critical and the processing cost of the leather process wastes (40,000~60,000 won) is a heavy burden on the production cost. Because the organic wastes such as fleshing scrap, pelt scrap are high fetid, its unlawful abandonment without being processed properly causes the occurrence of secondary pollution by an offensive odor and leakage of waste water. Thus we made the re-resource experiments in order to resolve this problems. The principal contents of this study are to process the collected leather waste scrape through separate the oil and fat ingredients with various propert by processing various chemicals and enzymes on the next effector. The re-resource application of separated oil and fat ingredients produced chemical for leather applicable to manufacturing process of leather through chemical transformation process(sulphation reaction, sulphitation reaction etc.) of oil and fats.

  • 본 논문은 가열된 폐식용유를 이용하여 음식물류폐기물에 포함된 수분을 증발시키고 고형성분을 익혀 사료, 퇴비 및 연료화 할 수 있는 장치를 소개한다. $200^{\circ}C$의 폐식용유에서 l분 이내에 완전 건조 처리되며 멸균을 시킬 수 있어 효과적이다. 열원은 소각로 열을 재활용할 경우 경제적이다. 탈리액의 해양투기가 금지될 경우 탈리액을 획기적으로 줄이는 대안이라 여겨진다.

  • 산업의 발달로 인하여 유해폐기물의 양과 종류가 날로 증가하고 있다. 특히 본 연구에서 사용한 $CCl_4$는 염화탄화수소(chlorinated hydrocarbons, CHCs)(Elizabeth 와 Catherine) 계통의 대표적인 유해폐기물이며 플라스틱제조업, 제초제와 살충제를 제조하는 농약제조업, 유기용제 제조업 등에서 다량 배출되며 해마다 발생량이 증가하는 추세이다. 최근까지 대부분의 유해폐기물을 처리가격의 저렴성과 기술적으로 어려움이 적은 매립 및 밀봉등의 방법과 물리화학적 방법으로 처리하였으나 앞으로는 소각에 의한 처리방법이 증가되리라 예상된다.   • 2004년말 현재 국내에서 발생되는 음식물쓰레기의 재활용량은 전체 발생량의 $87.7\%$인 10,015톤/일이며, 전체 재활용량의 $6.47\%$인 640톤/일 정도가 혐기성소화 방법에 의해 처리 및 자원화 되고 있다. 국내에서 적용되고 있는 음식물쓰레기 혐기성소화 기술의 대부분은 습식소화(Wet digestion) 공법이며, 처리 방법별로 2상 혐기성소화(Two-phase anaerobic digestion)와 하수슬러지 흑은 축산분뇨와 함께 혼합처리 하는 통합소화(Co-digestion) 공정으로 구분되고 있다. 음식물쓰레기의 자원화 방법에 있어 혐기성소화는 사료화, 퇴비화에 비하여 폐기물의 효과적인 감량화와 자원화 효과뿐만 아니라 유용 에너지원인 메탄가스의 회수가 가능하기에 최근에 주목을 받는 biotechnology중의 하나로 자리매김 하고 있으며, 또한 유기성폐기물의 자원순환형 관리 시스템 구현에 있어 적절한 대안으로 고려되고 있다.

  • CO I gene sequence analysis was applied to earthworms that had been used as test animals in toxicity test in Institute of Kyeongbook Agrochemicals and earthworms used as vermicomposting agents in the farm of Youngdong province to identify their species names. In terms of molecular species, the former was identified as Eisenia fetida and the latter was Eisenia andrei. Cocoons produced from Eisenia fetida was more than those from Eisenia andrei. And No. of adults developed from eggs of Eisenia fetida was more or less higher than those developed from eggs of Eisenia andrei. These results were contradictory to previous reports on two Eisenia spp.. When Eisenia fetida was crossed with Eisenia andrei, hybridized eggs were produced and adults were developed from those eggs, but cocoons and adults were much less than those from non-crossed Eisenia fetida or Eisenia andrei. This indicated that two Eisenia spp. were not distinctly different biological species because there was no complete 'reproductive isolation' between Eisenia fetida and Eisenia andrei. However, this also meant that Eisenia fetida and Eisenia andrei had already been on the tract of speciation.

  • In this study, the treatment flow of the recyclables(paper, plastic, metal, etc.) collected and separated from MSW was investigated throughout entire phase from separation and collection to final disposal. Based on the site survey, most recyclables came into six material recovery facilities were comparatively managed well. However, some of recyclables showed irrelatively transportation flow. Because the main income source of the recyclables transportation companies is profit margin between treatment and transportation cost based on economics only therefore, it occurs an unnecessary route and long distance transportation while going to final destination. This unreasonable system should be a serious problem relating establishment of the resource recycling system. As a result of this study, in order to establish the reasonably resource recycling system, recycling center including material recovery facility has to manage the recyclables generated in close range preferentially. Also integrated its treatment system over a wide area will need to be considered as a basic step for the reasonable reasonably resource recycling system.

  • The study is carried out to survey the proper management and to propose an eco - friendly separation system through efficient screening and resource recovery of excavated materials containing waste from various excavating fields such as reconstruction of landfill sites for reuse, reclamation of unsanitary landfill and residential land development of waste dumping sites. The current status and screening process and analytical characteristics of the excavated materials containing waste were reviewed. Through the analysis of the samples such as separated combustibles, recyclable soils and residues collected from the on-site visits we were able to understand the characteristics of separated materials and excavated materials containing waste such as calorific value, elementary composition, TOC, foreign material content and LOI. It has been found that elimination of the moisture of excavations, removal of attached soil from the surfaces of the excavated combustibles and the quantitative supply method of the input devices are the main operating factors as essential factors for the optimal separation of excavated materials containing waste. For efficient management and recycling of excavated materials containing, it is necessary to set criteria of ash content in separated combustibles and criteria organic matter content in separated soils.

  • To use of industrial wastes as sources of fertilizer, the waste materials from 75 factories through-out the country were collected and analyzed. The wastes from fermentation, paper manufacture, food processing and textile industries might be useful sources of fertilizer. They contained high organic matters, nutrients and relatively low heavy metals.
