Implementation of a Windows NT Based Stream Server for Multimedia School Systems (멀티미디어 교실을 위한 윈도우 NT 기반 스트림 서버 구현)

  • A distributed multimedia school system is developed for the multimedia classroom at high school and university. The system is designed and implemented for students to improve the learning efficiency through the personalized multimedia contents and pace of learning. The previously developed multimedia information retrieval systems have some limitations on being applied to the multimedia classroom: expensive cost per stream or poor retrieval quality inappropriate for education, unscalability of system and service, unfamiliar proprietary client environment, and difficulty for teachers to use the authoring tools and manage the authored teaching materials. The system we developed overcomes the above problems. It is so scalable as to be applicable not only to a segmented classroom but also to the world wide Internet. The stream server is one of the components of the system: stream servers clients, a service gateway system, and a authoring management system. This paper describes the design and implementation of the stream server. A single stream server can simultaneously playback the multimedia streams as many as clients at one classroom. This is achieved only by the software engine without any changes of the hardware architecture. The systematic coupling with other components gives the scalability of the system and the flexibility of services.

  • 현재 인터넷 프로토콜인 IPv4의 주소 부족 등의 문제를 해결하기 위해 차세대 인터넷 프로토콜 IPv6에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 새로운 프로토콜 IPv6 상에서 기존의 다른 상위 프로토콜 및 응용이 어떠한 영향을 받게 될지는 의문이다. 한편, IPv6 상에서 새로운 프로토콜 및 응용을 개발할 때에 많은 시험이 요구된다. 이와 같은 이유로 인해 새로운 통신 프로토콜에 있어서 모니터링은 필수적이다. 그러나 지금까지의 많은 모니터링 라이브러리들은 텍스트에 기반하고 있으며, 그래픽 데이터를 제공하는 도구들도 대부분 통계정보의 제공에 초점을 두고 있다. 이를 두고 프로토콜이 그 표준에 따라 정확한 원리에 맞게 동작하는 지를 파악하는 데는 큰 도움이 되지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대상 프로토콜의 실제적인 동작 과정이나 원리를 알 수 있도록 그래픽 기반의 사용자 친화적 모니터링 도구를 제작한다. 이를 위해, 먼저 IPv6가 다른 프로토콜에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 사항들을 분석한다. 다음으로 본 교에 구축되어 있는 IPv6 호스트에 모니터링에 필요한 환경을 구축하고, Java Applet을 이용한 모니터 프로그램을 제작한다. 현재 개발하는 모니터 프로그램은 TCP의 슬라이딩 윈도우(Sliding Window) 기법에 관련된 사항을 모니터링 해주는 것으로 그 범위를 한정한다. 개발된 도구를 이용하여 IPv6 상에서 FTP가 TCP를 이용하여 파일을 전송하는 경우의 모니터링을 실시하고, 그 결과를 분석 제시한다. 이로써, 개발된사용자 친화적 모니터링 도구가 얼마나 쉽게 슬라이딩 윈도우 기법을 이해시켜 주고, 내포된 의미를 파악할 수 있게 해주는지를 알 수 있다.한 것으로 연구되었다. 정상조 직에 비해 산소가 부족하여 염기성대사(anaerobic metabolism)를 많이 함으로 그 부산물인 유산 (lactic acid)이 많이 생성됨으로 정상조직보다 pH가 낮아 암 조직이 정상조직에 비해 고온온열치료에 더 잘 듣는 원인이 된다. 3) 영양이 부족한 상태의 세포는 고온온열치료에 훨씬 예민하다. 4) 암조직은 혈관상태가 정상조직에 비해 좋지 않음으로 정상조직보다 쉽게 가온이 되며, 일단 가온된 온도는 잘 식지 않음으로 정상조직에 비해 훨씬 효율적이다. 5)고 온온열치료는 4$0^{\circ}C$~43.5 $^{\circ}C$정도에서만 이 작용이 일어남으로 정상인체에서 43$^{\circ}C$이상의 가온 은 쉽지 않음으로 이 효과는 암조직에서 주고 일어나게 된다. 6)고온온열치료는 방사선치료 후에 생기는 손상의 재생을 억제함으로 방사선의 치료효과를 높인다. 7)38.5$^{\circ}C$~41.5$^{\circ}C$의 낮 은 온도에서도 암조직의 산소 상태를 호전시켜 방사선 치료효과를 증대시키는 역할을 한다.alization)가 나타난다. 그러나 무의식에 대칭화만 있는 것은 아니며, 의식의 사고양식인 비대칭도 어느 정도 나타나며, 대칭화의 정도에 따라, 대상들이 잘 구분되어 있는 단계, 의식수준의 감정단계, 집단 내에서의 대칭화 단계, 집단간에서의 대칭화 단계, 구분이 없어지는 단계로 구분하였다.systems.   • Most of the time, developers spend their energy to analyze the main function of the system or make source codes. As a result, they can not consider user interface on their own system and this is true in most programmer's world. But we want to consider the design concept in developing mechanism. In this case we have to upgrade the legacy system which maintaining the transmission system using the copper cables, and add the transmission system using the optical fiber cables. Therefore we design the user interface make easy for end users who are using the maintaining system on copper cables not to confuse the new system which include optical fibers. Especially, we are consider the developing model of design policy and real user to make easy to use new system. In this paper we will describe the instance to adapt the design concept on Broadband Access Network Operation Support System.

  • Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) are advanced applications which, without embodying intelligence as such, aim to provide innovative services relating to different modes of transport and traffic management and enable various users to be better informed and make safer, more coordinated, and 'smarter' use of transport networks. However, ITS has the different size and shapes according to the city environment policy to adjust the city scene and it has to be displayed by different message on the information display device in real-time. And the information service providers must make the information display system which has the different information and data each time. That is very time and workers consuming and auto message frame generation system is necessary. In this paper, we design and develop the message frame generation system which can set several parameters easily for the generation of the message frame automatically on the windows environment and we do not need to go the field to get the test data.

  • Current power systems are distributed geographically and operated in the form of Energy Management System(EMS)/ Supervision Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA) with the aid of computers and communications. Recently a variety of utilities have had interests in using inforrration technology to bring the efficiency and low operational costs. There is also a trend to integrdte the production, transmission, distribution and management/control of power into one and unified distributed system. To this end, Electric Power Hesearch Institute(EPRI) announced a new standard communication protocol called Inter-Control Center Protocol(ICCP).ICCP specifies the use of Manufacturing Message Specification(MMS) for services required by rccr in application layer and supports the communications between heterogeneous control centers. This paper presents the characteristics of MMS,ICCP and their relationship. Futherrnore, we implement the basic functional blocks of ICCP using MMS services under TCI/IP environments. Finally, we model a simple power system and apply the rccp protocol to this system in a window-based scheme, and finally show the operation and validation of this protocol.

  • Widgets are the instrument for representing user's character and embossing the value of blogs. The compound word of the Windows and Gadget the application, widgets are the functional program to displayed on the screen graphical user interface (GUI) tools as a kind of service that user want to see. On the operating system, the Web, and mobile area, widgets offer the delivery of information, convenience and efficiency. However widgets have been never gave satisfaction to user because it focused transmitting information and representing circumstance than fun. This study is for recognized fun elements that user feel interest and categorized fun elements each type of widgets. Fun elements of widget never been defined, we use fun elements on design and product area and emotional word that is representative of affectivity. And we make up an online questionnaire to blog users. The widget selected by popular degree among the domestic widgets and the Japanese widget. And the results of the questionnaire that 5-scales used based on user preferences to identify the elements that are fun.

  • There are several methods for malware analyses. However, it is difficult to detect malware exactly with existing detection methods. Especially, malware with strong anti-debugging facilities can detect analyzer and disturb their analyses. Furthermore, it takes too much time to analyze malware. In order to resolve these problems of current analyzers, more improved analysis scheme is required. This paper suggests a dynamic binary instrumentation which supports the instruction analysis and the memory access tracing. Additionally, by supporting the API call tracing with the DLL loading analysis, our system establishes the foundation for analyzing various executable codes. Based on Xen, full-virtualization environment is built using Intel's VT technology. Windows XP can be used as a guest. We analyze representative malware using several functions of our system, and show the accuracy and efficiency enhancements in binary analyses capability of our system.

  • In this paper, we introduce an application virtualization method that could be supported without changing and modifying any resources and execution environment on host system, using non-installable portable software format that could be executed by one-click on any host without installing process. For the purpose of designing and implementing an application virtualization method, we construct virtual supporting system that includes virtual file system and virtual registry hive on kernel level of Windows operating system. Also, when users execute portable software on any hosts to provide consistency on using portable software, we describe method of processing information of appending and modifying files and registry datum on virtual file system and virtual registry hive through Copy-on-Write scheme.

  • Currently, mobile handset embeds many communication modules including CDMA and Bluetooth, and many applications are developed based on these modules. In this paper, we study about wireless vehicle diagnosis software and user interface based on bluetooth system on mobile handset. We developed Bluetooth communication system on protocol converter between OBD(On Board Diagnostics)-II system. Based on this system, we can communicate ECU(Engine Control Unit) and mobile device based on windows .NET compact framework platform. Therefore we can easily diagnose vehicle state and obtain engine data. All user interface and vehicle diagnosis systems on mobile handset are developed under windows .NET compact framework platform. Using this system we achieved several improvements over existing vehicle diagnostic system; 1) the software download and upgrade can be achieve on wireless environment, 2) no additional diagnostic devices are requires, which saves additional cost and we can diagnose the vehicle easily, 3) we can easily port our system on many embedded systems including PDA and navigator, etc.

  • In this paper, we research on the personal information protection system in smart-phone based on mobile environment. This paper proposes the enhanced personal location privacy mechanism in location-based service environment of a smart phone operating system(iOS, Android) for the relevant regulations on location-based protection and utilization. Also, the result verified that possibility on a self-control mechanism of the personal information protection system's subject in the window platform throughout the experiment. Therefore, this study have drew a method that user positively can cope with a protection of personal location information by having a user's self-control method in the system under development or done by illegal location-based service providers and illegal application developer.
