This demand for external changes is necessary for all companies that is under the survival of fittest. The internal/external of environmental changes affect the organizations of company largely, and these management organizations have relation with the corporate of management performance closely. In response to that, to be adapted to the environmental change and to raise the corporate of management performance, the construction companies have tried to change the organizations such as organization re-design, organization re-build, organization innovation. Because the organizational structure that is preventive in the growth of companies bring a negative effect, the companies need to have the effective organizations to raise the corporate value. The effective organizations could be used the important indicator that builds the corporate goals and manages the organizations. Also, the organization development and organization management can prepare for environmental changes can be the important base to increase the management performance. Therefore, After surveying and analyzing the character of organization structure in respect to the OLC, this study present the Organization Structure Model that can design the appropriate organization by the growth of companies.

  • The Korean construction industry has been severely impacted by the 2008 global financial crisis, which resulted in a significant reduction in the overall contract amount. For survival, many construction management (CM) companies had to adapt a strategy of lowering bid prices to maintain their competitiveness. As a result of the strategy, companies faced a number of issues including their decreased capability in risk management. However, most risk management-related studies focused on construction risk management, yet these studies lacked consideration of enterprise-level risk management practices. To fill the gap, the objectives of the present study are (1) to investigate, the risk management practices of Korean CM companies, (2) to identify factors that determine efficient enterprise-level risk management practices, and (3) to propose a module for the development of enterprise-level risk management. Lastly, the efficiency of the proposed development module was validated by using a survey.

  • In this study, we proposed a layout of the integrated decision support system in order to prevent the contamination and to manage risk in water supply networks for safe and smooth water supply. We evaluated the priority of risk factors to detect anomaly in water supply networks using PROMETHEE and ANP techniques, which are applied to various Multi-Criteria Decision Making area in Europe and America. To develop the model, we selected pH, residual chlorine concentration, discharge, hydraulic pressure, electrical conductivity, turbidity, block leakage and water temperature as the key data item. We also chose pipe corrosion, pipe burst and water pollution in pipe as the criteria and then we present the results of PROMETHEE and ANP analysis. The evaluation results of the priority of risk factors in water supply networks will provide basic data to establish a contingency plan for accidents so that we can establish the specific emergency response procedures.

  • The more people and urban infrastructures are crowded in a society, the more possibilities of disasters are existed. Most of cities have a difficulty in coping with unpredictable disasters consisting of natural and human characteristics. As a proved before, theses disasters have serious effects on socio-economical, financial and physical damages, and human lives. Although we have prepared various types of disaster-protection programs, there are rooms to be desired in establishing advanced warning system towards safeguards of disasters. In this research, we propose semantic ideas of an advanced information system associated with automatic voicing mail linking to telephone. This conceptual model and its architecture is for not only predicting and analyzing disasters, but also recommending counter-measurements and solutions for risks and dangers in disastrous circumstances. However, there are little works with regard to definitions and conceptual models of automatic voicing mail system in the context of geographical information sciences. Therefore, this research focuses on scrutinizing the effect of possible natural vulnerability and human hazards in our present societies.

First, we need to help adolescents to establish their identities based on the traditional ethical principles from both eastern and western cultures. Second, we claim that improvement of educational environment is urgently needed. Adolescents' emotional securities need to be well supported through stabilized family lives and we need to set expanded communication system between students and the school education system to help teenagers lead happier and more active school lives. Lastly, this study suggests establishing a social security system by eliminating potential risk factors and extending the protection factors so that Korean adolescents do not hesitate asking for help to protect themselves when they feel suicidal.

  • Purpose: This study focus on the disaster response process in the disaster field manuals. The process reflects the several kinds of disaster situation scenarios under the defined disaster types. Method: Firstly we defined the situation concept from the emergency types. And then, we makes each disaster response process based on the situations. Results: There are several kinds of the disaster response process in a disaster fields manuals. The most of the process has the duplicated SOP's among the situation types. In this paper, we developed the situation code sand then apply the codes to the process. As a result of the work, we defined one the disaster response process which includes the situational code in the each SOP. • While the United States and other Western states are in trouble with COVID-19 crisis, China is continuing its aggressive ocean expansion with its Gray-zone strategy. The Gray-zone strategy, which China uses around the South China Sea, refers to a strategy that promotes a change in international politics by creating an unclear state, neither war or peace. China, which is trying to expand its influence across East Asia, will also try to project a Gray zone strategy on the Korean Peninsula. The possible scenarios are as follows: 1) South Korea is accidentally involved in a dispute in the South China Sea, 2) Military conflicts between South Korea and China is caused by illegal fishing of Chinese boats in Yellow Sea, 3) China tries to interfere with Socotra Rock, 4) Unlikely, but possible in the future that China induce the military conflicts between Korea and Japan on the Dokdo issue. In order to cope with these scenarios, Korea should prepare the following measures from a long-term perspective: the creation of an Asian maritime safety fleet, the integ rated operation of the navy and the coast guard in the framework of the national fleet, and strengthening the conflict control system for China's provocations.

  • This study attempted to explore the experience related to the work-family balance of working moms during the COVID-19 period. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted by recruiting 17 part-time and full-time working moms with at least 1 child under the age of 13. As a result of analyzing the data using the method of grounded theory, 106 concepts, 50 subcategories, and 24 categories were derived. The central phenomenon that working moms experienced in the process of work and family balance were "physical and emotional exhaustion", "anxiety and guilt about not doing well in situations of role conflicts between various roles", "job crisis experienced by working mothers" and "deepening family conflicts". The process of working moms overcoming the central phenomenon and achieving work-family balance was identified as five stages: the 'shock and confusion stage', the 'struggling stage', the 'actively coping and making compromise stages', the 'acceptance stage', and the 'post-traumatic growth stage'. Based on these results, discussions on the work-family balance of working mothers during the COVID-19 period was dealt as well as suggestions for follow-up studies.

  • This study aimed to improve the quality of classes through the application experience analysis after applying the adult nursing simulation practice modules with PBL. Quantitative and qualitative data such as from satisfaction, validity, self-reflection, and lecture evaluation in 68 nursing students were analyzed after the semester. Satisfaction was 4.64 points out of 5 points, and 'I want to recommend this class to other friends' was the highest. It was appropriate for the validity as 64.7% to 100% positve answer. From the qualitative data analysis of lecture evaluation, it was categorized into 5 thematic groups : 'increased immersion related to a lively class environment', 'growth of knowledge and skills through learners' active participation', 'improvement of mutual collaboration skills through team-based problem-solving process', 'Improvement of problem-solving ability through situational crisis coping process' and 'Improvement of individual comprehension through close teaching'. The continuous development of PBL learning strategies and development of various scenarios are required in the future.
