Design of Multi-agent System for Course Scheduling of Learner-oriented using Weakness Analysis Algorithm (취약성 분석 알고리즘을 이용한 학습자 중심의 코스 스케쥴링 멀티 에이전트 시스템의 설계)

  • The appearance of web technology has accelerated a role of the development of the multimedia technology, the computer communication technology and the multimedia application contents. And serveral researches of WBI (Web-based Instruction) system have combined the technology of the digital library and LOD. Recently WBI (Web-based Instruction) model which is based on web has been proposed in the part of the new activity model of teaching-learning. And the demand of the customized coursewares which is required from the learners is increased, the needs of the efficient and automated education agents in the web-based instruction are recognized. But many education systems that had been studied recently did not service fluently the courses which learners had been wanting and could not provide the way for the learners to study the learning weakness which is observed in the continuous feedback of the course. In this paper we propose "Design of Multi-agent System for Course Scheduling of Learner-oriented using Weakness Analysis Algorithm". First proposed system monitors learner's behaviors constantly, evaluates them, and calculates his accomplishment. From this accomplishment the multi-agent schedules the suitable course for the learner. And the learner achieves a active and complete learning from the repeated and suitable course.le course.

  • In this paper, a P2P streaming system for community TV service which requires realtime interactions was designed and implemented. The proposed system constructs a short delay tree-based P2P network in order to effectively support various community TV services within end-to-end delay bounds. Because a community service based on conversation requires a short delay. The P2P network of this paper was constructed by using an algorithm which utilizes locality and delay information. The implemented P2P streaming system is composed of a Web server and a application, each of which was implemented using Asp.Net and C#.Net respectively.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of diverse contents service of EBS providing on the multi-platform in the era of smart media. This study investigated contents service of EBS in order to seek and suggest EBS's competitiveness in the era of smart media environment. As a result, EBS is providing real-time service, VOD and e-learning, but its current contents service is concentrated on providing e-learning service. This study recommended that EBS need to reinforce contents suitable for various multi-platform uses. It also suggested EBS need to cooperate with diverse webs service and SNS service in order to widen openness of its platform, and to provide not only diverse contents, but also applications by offering mobile and on-demand contents and services. Finally, this study proposed that EBS is needed to move towards a more public and comprehensive media portal.

Estimation of maximum object size satisfying mean response time constraint in web service environment (웹 서비스 환경에서 평균 응답 시간의 제약조건을 만족하는 최대 객체 크기의 추정)

  • One of the economical ways to satisfy the quality of service desired by the user in a web service environment is to adjust the size of the object. To this end, this study finds the maximum size of objects that satisfy this constraint when the mean response time is given below an arbitrary threshold for quality of service. It can be inferred that in the steady state of system, the mean response time in the deterministic model by using the round-robin will be the same as that of the queueing model following the general distribution. Based on this, analytical formulas and procedures for finding the maximum object size are obtained. As a service distribution of web traffic, the Pareto distribution is appropriate, so the maximum object size is computed by applying the M/G(Pareto)/1 model and the M/G/1/PS model using exponential distribution as computational experience. Performance evaluation through numerical calculation shows that as the shape parameter in the Pareto distribution increases, the M/G(Pareto)/1 model and M/G/1/PS model have the same maximum object size. The results of this study can be used to environments where objects can be sized for economical web service control.

  • 유비쿼터스 서비스는 운전자, 헬스케어 관련 종사자, 일반 시민 등 모바일 사용자를 위한 서비스를 포괄하고 있다. 이러한 서비스들은 단말 장치로부터 발생하는 다양한 정보들을 수집, 가공하여 개인들에게 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 최근에 진행되고 있는 u-City 에서는 건강과 교육, 가정 환경에서 일어나는 다양한 이벤트들을 기반으로 상황에 따라 개인화된 서비스를 거주지, 거리, 빌딩, 공공 장소 같은 다양한 환경에 제공하려 하고 있다. 최근의 표준화 논의에서는 다양한 공공 서비스와 상용/민간 서비스를 지원하기 위해 공유할 수 있는 단말, 네트워크, 센터, 소프트웨어 인프라스트럭처가 필요하다는 공감대가 형성되어 표준화 논의가 활성화되고 있다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 TOPAZ는 서비스 기반의 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 인프라스트럭처로 다양한 유비쿼터스 서비스들이 웹 서비스를 통해 인프라스트럭처를 사용하여 쉽게 개발, 배포, 운용될 수 있게 해준다. 본 논문에서는 TOPAZ의 필요성과 서비스 컴포넌트들에 대해 서술하고 유틸리티 컴퓨팅의 입장에서 본 서비스의 질, 서비스 미터링, 자원 관리, Scalability 등의 고려 사항과 해결 방법을 제시하고 TOPAZ의 성능, 적용 결과 등을 소개한다.

  • 사물에 센서를 부착해 실시간으로 데이터를 인터넷으로 연결하는 사물인터넷 시대가 대두되고 고성능의 스마트 기기가 등장함에 따라 현대 교육 시스템에도 큰 영향을 주었다. 특히 오락과 학습이 적절한 조화를 이루는 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠는 학습자들의 몰입(flow)과 상호작용(interaction)을 통해 흥미를 유발시킨다. 그러나 스마트교육 콘텐츠는 웹을 기반으로 한 콘텐츠가 대다수이며, 어플리케이션 역시 교육의 질 대비 유료서비스를 제공하는 것이 대부분이고 내용이 다소 부재하다는 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Unity3D와 뷰포리아사의 SDK를 활용하여 증강현실의 장점을 살리고, 학습자들이 흥미를 잃지 않고 쉽게 학습할 수 있는 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠 제작방법을 제안한다.

  • 수재해 관련 정보를 수집하기 위한 주요 소스로서 위성 정보가 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 그 중 NASA SEDAC과 UNISDR(United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction)의 Global Risk Data Platform, UNESCO의 IHP-WINS를 대상으로 메타정보를 구축하는 [글로벌(위성기반) 수재해 관련정보 수집체계]를 구성하였다. 이때 메타정보를 수신/처리하는 역할의 하비스터는 OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium) 표준 WMS(Web Map Service)서비스의 필수 Operation인 GetCapabilities를 통하여 ISO GML을 획득한 후 이를 처리하도록 구성함으로써 여타표준 준수 DataSource에 대한 적응성을 확보하였다. 수집된 메타데이터를 통하여 검색된 정보는 표준 Map Service를 통하여 구글 지도 기반의 시계열 수재해 주제도 정보 서비스와 WebGL기반 3D 수재해 주제도 서비스로 각각 구성되도록 설계하였다. 국내 수재해 현장정보 수집 체계에 있어서는 사진을 포함한 시민의 현장 정보가 지오태깅기술과 동반되어 수재해 플랫폼으로 업로드 되면, 수집된 시계열 정보는 주제별 카테고리로 그룹화 된 후 클러스터링 가시화 기법으로 지도 공간상에 표출되도록 구성하였다. 이때 공신력 있는 공공 데이터(Data.go.kr)의 대피소 등 관련 시설 정보를 동시에 매핑하여 융합서비스 하도록 모색하였다. 본 연구는 전반적으로 웹서비스를 지향하며 전문가, 기관(부처), 교육기관으로 구분된 서비스를 구상하고 있다.

  • The existing web page was downloaded and provided to the user every time the user requested the page. Therefore, if the same page is repeatedly requested by the user, only the download for the same resource is repeated. This is a factor that causes unnecessary consumption of data. We focus on reducing data consumption caused by unnecessary requests between users and servers, and improving content delivery speed. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a caching system and an algorithm that can reduce the data consumption while maintaining the latest cache by comparing the hash value using the hash function that can detect the change of the file requested by the user.

Current Status and Trends in Library and Information Services in USA (미국 도서관정보서비스의 현황과 동향)

  • This article examines the current status and future trends in library and information services in USA, with particular emphasis on the library automation system, library cooperation, Internet andinformation services, activities of information services organizations. Client/server computing and integrated Web-based technology make it possible for libraries to build a new generation of automated library systems, and digital libraries project is the highest priority. As a cooperative effort among libraries, they formed consortia such as ARL/AAU on the national level. and CIC on the regional level, and GALILEO, LLN, OhioLink, Texshare, VIVA, ILLINET on the state level information netwok. The Internet and the World Wide Web have a huge impact, so American libraries are developing new skills to provide value-added information services using Internet resources. Lastly, recent information activities of the LC, NAL, NLM, ERIC, NTIS are described.
