최근 들어 네트워크 카메라는 플랫폼 독립적인 서비스 제공을 위해 웹서비스를 기반으로 확장 가능한 공통인터페이스를 정의하고, 이를 지원하는 제품을 개발하고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문은 웹서비스 기반의 네트워크 카메라의 관리 및 응용 인터페이스 구축 사례에 관한 것으로 이를 통해 다수의 네트워크 카메라 관리 및 응용 시스템과의 인터페이스를 담당 하는 미들웨어를 구축 및 개발에 도움을 주고자 한다.

As existing analog video surveillance systems could save and retrieve data only in a limited space within short distance, it had many constraints in developing into various application systems. However, on the back of development of the Internet and computer technologies, digital video surveillance systems can be controlled from a remote location by web browser without space limits. Moreover, data compression and management technologies with Index Search algorithm make it possible to efficiently handling, storing, and retrieving a large amount of data and further motion detection algorithm enhances a recording speed and efficiency for a practical application, that is, a practical remote recordable video surveillance system using our efficient algorithms as mentioned, called WebCam. The WebCam server system can intelligently record and save video images digitized through efficient database management, monitor and control cameras in a remote place through user authentication, and search logs.

범죄 예방과 자원 보호를 위해 CCTV 카메라를 이용하는 방범 시스템의 필요성은 점차 커지고 있다. 아날로그 형식에서부터 디지털 형식으로 발전된 형태의 방범 시스템이 개발되고 사용 중이지만, 비용이 높고 효율성이 떨어지는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 서비스 기반의 서버에 적외선 카메라를 연결하고 사용자가 사전 인지 없이도 클라이언트에서 실시간으로 침입을 탐지하여 적절하게 대처할 수 있는 방범 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다.

관리사무실에서 원거리 현장사무실을 관리할 수 있는 직접적인 방법이 없는 형편이다. 전화나 팩스를 이용할 경우에 소요되는 인력이나 경제적 손실등에대한 낭비가 막대하다. 이에 따라 감시 카메라를 사용하는 기업이 산업화가 가속화되면서 점차 늘어나고 있다. 생산 현장등에서 차량 감시 시스템, 경비 시스템, 주차장 관리 시스템등의 다양한 부문별로 감시 카메라를 이용하는 기업들이 많이 있다. 이러한 기업들의 시스템에서 실시간 감시 관리 시스템을 이용하여 동화상 자체를 카메라에 연결된 시스템의 저장매체에 저장하고 있으며, 이를 감시인이 원거리에서 실시간 감시하고 있다. 이런 경우에는 시스템의 비용이 고가이고 저장된 영상의 분석 또한 쉽지 않다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 경제적이고 실용적인 방법으로 감시 카메라, 영상 전송 시스템, 영상 분석 시스템등으로 구성되어 웹 기반으로 활용할 수 있는 생산현장 원격 관리 시스템을 제안한다.

Miniaturization of equipments which have wireless network function and sensor have changed utilization method of computer in daily life, and have contributed to development for ubiquitous computing environment. In this paper, we design camera control system based wireless mobile and web-environmental through which nurse, doctor and family of patient can share and observe the information on condition of patient in hospital. Besides, this camera control system makes it possible to integrate diverse equipments of hospital into one system, and to conduct remote control function which can be applied to the patient control system. It is impossible to control shooting direction of camera apparatus in a remote area for observing patient in a hospital room through general web camera. So in this paper, we showed new design; we attached step motor which can rotate 360 degrees to web camera, and the step motor can operate through control board. Besides, we developed application for two environments, mobile and web-based environment, which enables us to offer proper efficiency in accordance with condition of observer through observation of control and collected image data.

A monitoring system for the security is increasingly demanded in line with the issue of the infringement of privacy. This paper has conducted the study on the monitoring technique via the Internet using PC or PDA. This is a monitoring system for web-camera based home server, which transmits the images and sound data captured by mike-embedded USB camera, though multiplexer of H.263 and internet. It integrates the operating processors of each device into a unified drive module and provides it the operator to facilitate the system operation and maintenance.

As security and surveillance have become the center of interest, remote controlled CCTV(Closed-Circuit Television) market has been formed while rapid development of digital image compression technology and Internet triggered the advent of web cameras. The characteristic of web camera is that it can provide users with higher quality image than CCTV at any place where Internet access is available. However, As for the system administrator, the existing web camera have disadvantage in that they allows users only. who are connected to the server of the web camera, to see the image from it. In this paper, in order to make up for this defect, designed multi-vision interface showing multi images on single screen and, for the purpose of the improvement in efficiency, the functions of saving images and of scheduling the time to save the images.

본 연구에서는 기존의 방법에 비하여 3차원 스캐너나 카메라를 이용하지 않고 비용과 노력을 크게 절감하면서 실감나는 얼굴 모델링을 효율적으로 수행하는 웹 기반 3차원 얼굴 모델러를 제안한다. 클라이언트측의 사용자가 본 시스템에 접속하면 자바 애플릿의 얼굴모델러가 실행되며, 사용자는 두 장의 사진을 입력으로 하여 웹브라우저만으로 3차원 얼굴 모델을 생성하게 된다.

개인의 사생활 침해와 함께 안전을 위해 모니터링 시스템에 대한 관심이 높아져가고 있다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷을 통해서 PC나 PDA로 모니터링 할 수 있는 기술을 연구하였다. 마이크가 내장된 USB 카메라로 촬영한 영상과 음성 데이터를 H.263의 Moltiplex를 통해서 인터넷을 통해 PC나 PDA로 전송하는 웹 카메라 기반 홈서버용 모니터링 시스템으로 각 장치들의 동작 처리부를 일관된 구동 모듈로 통일하고, 관리자에게 일관된 구동 모듈을 제공하여 시스템의 운용과 관리에 있어서 편리함을 제공하였다.
