Analysis of Conflict and Satisfaction on Learning of Married Woman Learners (기혼여성 학습자의 학습에 대한 갈등과 만족도 분석)

  • This study was aimed at analyzing married woman learners' types of learning desire, factors of conflict and satisfaction of learning. The subjects were 165 married women who were in attendance at general graduate schools located in Busan city and Gyeongnam province. The results were as follows. Firstly, Married woman learners preferred schools of natural sciences to schools of liberal arts, and entered graduate schools mainly according to their wishes. Secondly, Their learning desire type was followed by purpose-oriented, learning-oriented, and activity-oriented types. Thirdly, internal factor in their conflict factor was higher than external factor. Lastly, positive aspect in learning satisfaction was higher than negative aspect.

An Exploration on Formative Evaluation Methods for Free Semester System in Middle School (중학교 자유학기제 형성평가 방안 탐색)

  • The purpose of the study was to develop evaluation methods which would measure student achievement and progress without traditional paper-pencil tests such as mid-term and final examinations. More specifically, the main research focus were to establish general directions of student assessment during free semester, to build evaluation models supporting student's participation and learning, and to report and record various student evaluation results. As research results, we found that student evaluation of free semester should be organized to improve a) experience learning activity, self-regulatory and collaboratory study, b) high-order thinking ability and character-building, and c) teacher-student-parent cooperation. Since traditional paper-pencil tests were restricted in free semester, student achievement should be provided by a way of performance descriptions on transcripts rather than quantitative grade points. Student performance descriptions had to show not only subject knowledge but also students efforts, motivation, and participation. These multiple and educationally meaningful information would be collected by teacher-student-parent communication and collaboration.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of qualitative evaluation and applicable models in the evaluation area of educational program. To this end, the concept and characteristics of qualitative evaluation are examined, and grounded theory is selected as a suitable methodology for evaluation, and its characteristics and procedures are described. Because qualitative evaluation focuses on the spontaneous practice elements of the site, it can supplement the quantitative evaluation of the variables set in advance. The researcher presented the theory of qualification as a methodology for qualitative evaluation, aiming to extract the theory explaining the phenomenon among the qualitative methodologies.

  • We prepared $Co_{77}Cr_{20}Ta_3$ Magnetic layer for perpendicular magnetic recording media with introduce Two-step methode and Amorphous Si Underlayer on slide glass substrate. The thickness of magnetic layer were 100nm, and Underlayer were varied from 5 to 100 nm. The multi layer Properties of crystal structure were examined with XRD. Prepared thin films showed improvement of dispersion angle of c-axis orientation ${\Delta}{\theta}_{50}$ caused by inserting Buffer-layer and amorphous Si underlayer.

  • 본 논문에서는 CMOS 2단 연산 증폭기에 존재하는 강고장을 검출하기 위한 새로운 아날로그 테스트 방법을 제안한다. 테스트 대상 회로는 테스트를 용이하도록 궤환 루프를 삽입하고 정현파 테스트 입력을 인가하여 출력단에 고장 효과를 발생시켜 고장을 검출하는 테스트 방법이다. 테스트 대상회로에 고장이 존재할 경우 출력 단에서 정현파가 아닌 DC 전압이나 왜곡 신호가 나타나 고장 검출이 용이하다. 제안된 테스트 방법은 테스트 입력 신호를 생성하기 위한 복잡한 알고리즘을 요구하지 않으므로 테스트 패턴 시간이 짧고, 비용이 절감된다. 또한 테스트를 위한 추가적인 하드웨어의 오브헤드가 적다. 본 논문에서 제안된 테스트 방법의 정당성과 효율성은 HSPICE 모의실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

Language Recognition for Effective Character Segmentation in the mixed Korean-English Documents (한영 혼용 문서에서의 효과적인 문자 분할을 위한 언어 인식에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문은 한영 혼용 문서에서의 문자 분할을 위한 효율적인 언어 인식기를 고안하였다. 한영 혼용 문서를 스캔한 후, OCR(광학 문자 판독, Optical Character Recognition)을 할 때, 문자 분할의 중요성은 상당히 크다. 인식 없이 문자를 분할하는 external segmentation 방법에서는, 인식할 언어가 한글 혹은 영어인가에 따라 문자 분할 방법이 달라진다. 그러므로, 한영 혼용 이미지를 인식하기 위해서 문자 분할을 하기 전에 언어를 미리 결정해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 문자 분할 방법을 효율적으로 하기 위한 언어 인식기를 제안하고 그 방법을 적용하였다. 그 결과 한영 혼용된 책 이미지에서 94.09%의 문자 분할 성공률을 보였다.

Impacts of Psychosocial Work Environment on Nurses' Job Satisfaction Based on the Type of Hospital Departments (종합병원 간호사의 부서별 사회심리적 업무환경이 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics of nursing work environments based on department type and to investigate the relationship between work environment and job satisfaction. Methods : The participants were 420 nurses from the ward, emergency room, intensive care unit, and operation room. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, and multiple regression test using the SPSS Win. 18.0 program. Results : The results were as follows: There was a significant difference in possibilities for development, meaning of work, recognition(reward), role clarity, and social community at work based on department type. The factors that influenced job satisfaction were influence, meaning of work, recognition(reward), role conflicts, and quality of leadership and these differed based on department type. Conclusions : The results of this study indicate that nursing work environments vary based on the type of hospital department. Therefore, it is necessary to develop diverse strategies for human resource management considering the type of department.

A Study on Teachers' Perception of the 7th Curriculum Implementation (제7차 교육과정 실행에 관한 교사의 인식 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the teachers' perception of the 7th curriculum implementation. The subjects were 540 elementary school teachers. Investigation was conducted with questionaires which have 40 questions in 4 domains about the 7th curriculum. The results of the study were as follows: First, teachers' perception level of curriculum implementation was mechanical use(level 3). Second, in the comparison of level by implementing domains, the domains of the essential, ideology, educational objectives and evaluation were lower than the domains of educational contents, teaching methods and materials. Third, in the comparison of teachers' personal characterristics, there was no difference between male and female in all domains. But, by teaching career, experienced teachers were higher level in all domains. Also by length of in-service training with the 7th curriculum, when they have longer in-service training, they showed a higher level of curriculum implementation.

A Development of the Elements on Occupational Basic Competencies of Fisheries and Maritime High School Students (수산·해운계 고등학교 학생의 직업기초능력 요소 개발)

  • The aims of this study are to analysis the elements associated with a occupational basic competencies of fisheries and maritime high school students. Fisheries & maritime key competencies were defined as the abilities that include the essential knowledge, skills, attitude, and experiences required for the workforce on the fisheries and maritime job condition. This research collected preliminary data from 177 fisheries & maritime high school teachers. Data were analyzed to obtain item quality, reliability and validity analysis. The results of the study were as follows; First, largely, fisheris & maritime key competencies were divided into two parts; basic vocational skills and fisheries-maritime job skills. Second, fisheries & maritime key competencies were consisted of communicative competence, numeracy skills, thinking skills, English communication skills, self-management skills, interpersonal competency, selection & application of alternative, marine technology & information skills, marine consciousness and maritime professional ethics. Third, each key competency consisted of 2-9 sub-competencies.

Effectiveness of STEAM Education applying a meta-analysis (메타분석을 통한 STEAM 교육의 효과검증)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of integrated education research conducted in Korea and to propose a meaningful discussion for further research. Among the studies conducted for last five years, the relevant 69 research articles were selected, and 211 effect sizes were calculated. Effect sizes were analyzed with different dependent variables including creativity, problem solving ability, inquiry skills, scientific recognition, attitude, interest, motivation and self-esteem. In addition, effect sizes with different moderating variable, such as samples sizes, characteristics of subjects, class types, core disciplines were compared. The conclusions of this study was that STEAM education had a relatively middle effect size. Finally, researchers discussed the results related with previous results, and provided the implications and suggestion for future studies.
