Study on Reinforcement Effect of Circular RC Columns by Helical Bar Under Cyclic Lateral Load (반복 횡하중을 받는 원형 철근콘크리트 기둥의 Helical Bar 보강효과에 대한 연구)

  • In this study, quasi-static according to the displacement-controlled (strain control) method tests on RC columns for seismic reinforcement performance in accordance with the provisions of the seismic design and construction before 1992 design code for highway bridges in korea. Used reinforcement that improves the performance of Inorganic Helical Bar, a kind of alloy steel, circular columns were tested outside the seismic reinforcing. In the experiment, fracture behavior, lateral load-displacement relation, ductility and energy assessment evaluation was performed through tests. The variables in experimental are section force of reinforcement, spiral reinforcement spacing, reinforcement method. Improved seismic performance and effect were confirmed through quasi-static test experiments. The results of study confirmed determination the appropriate size of reinforcement, reinforcement forces, spacing and selection of the type required, furthermore, not only mechanical reinforcement but also substitution of high-strength concrete reinforced with concrete cover improved seismic performance.

Wideband Annular Ring Slot Microstrip Antenna with Concentric Radiating Structure (동심원 복사구조를 갖는 광대역 원형 링슬롯 마이크로스트립 안테나)

  • The wideband annular ring slot antenna with concentric radiating structure and low impedance feedline has been presented. This antenna has been analyzed in compensation for FR-4 substrate with relative permittivity 4.3 and thickness 1 mm. As the measured 10 dB impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 127.2%(2.17∼9.76 GHz), its bandwidth is much broader than maximum 82% bandwidth of a conventional annular ring slot antenna. Experimental results from 2 to 10 GHz are shown to be in good agreement with the simulation. And this antenna has a high gain above 4 dBi from 2 GHz to 10 GHz as well as a 24% size reduction and 42% area reduction than a circular slot antenna.

  • As interest in latest cultural heritance is increased, an importance about conservation of dilapidated cultural building asset is risen. Most of cultural building asset used wood by main material and conservation repair about corrosion and damage by deterioration of these cultural building asset considers cultural value of member and the basis principle is the archetype maintenance. Accordingly, conservation processing method that use synthetic is embossed. This paper experimented with reinforcement sectional area ratio, direction of section, length, strength of synthetic resins as variable and manufactures total 14 specimens as experimental study about compression reinforcement performance of circular section wood that strengthen by synthetic resins. The result of this paper has shown that adequate strengthen is more efficient than new member and the most important authenticity in strengthen and repair of cultural heritance can be ensured.

  • The main goal of Signal Intelligence (SIGNT) based on a satellite is to collect valid and accurate data without the topographical constraints, but, due to the characteristics of the satellite communication, the collected signals are greatly vulnerable to the influence of interference and jamming signals because their power are very low. Therefore, the high performance techniques of estimating the angle of arrivals (AOAs) of the collected signals and suppressing interference signals are required for collecting various signals on the ground employing the satellite. In addition, the high quality of the transmission beam-forming technique is required for accurately transmitting the collected information to a ground control center. In this paper, we present a beam-forming satellite system based on a circular array antenna, considering the above techniques, and evaluate and analysis the performance of the presented beam-forming system through the computer simulation. The circular array antenna structure is expected to effectively employ for the SIGINT system based on a satellite, because it is suitable to be installed in the satellite.

  • In this paper, expanded lowest operating frequency by adopting circular slot on ground of balun and balance improved balance performances by stacking dielectric layer balun is proposed. Bandwidth of proposed balun is 1~7 GHz, and electrical length is $0.05{\lambda}$ at 1 GHz. In order to check performances of the proposed balun, simple dipole is integrated with the balun and radiation pattern of dipole is measured.

  • In this paper, the CFD analysis using various turbulent models has been performed to evaluate which type of turbulent models can predict well the mixing flow structure of $45^{\circ}$ impinging round jet. This CFD analysis has been carried out through the commercial Fluent software. As a result, any of turbulent models cannot predict the experimental results definitely all over the flow range. However, as compared with the experimental results, the turbulent model of realizable(RLZ) k-$\varepsilon$ only predicts well in the limited range between X/$X_0=1.1$ and X/$X_0=2.0$.

  • 본 논문에서는 RF MEMS 패키징 플랫폼을 활용한 안테나 구조를 제안하고, 이를 바탕으로 마이크로머시닝 공정을 이용한 슬롯 결합형 원형 패치 안테나를 제작하였다. 제안된 안테나는 RF MEMS 패키징 플랫폼 상에서 패키징 물질을 안테나의 유전 물질로 이용하기 위하여 슬롯 결합형 급전 구조를 사용하였다. 한편, BCB를 이용한 폴리머 접착 접합 공정의 RF MEMS 패키징 플랫폼을 기반으로, 하판 유리기판과 상판 수정 기판을 일체화한 형태로 마이크로 스트립라인 안테나를 제작하였다. 최종 제작된 안테나는 20.36-GHz에서 -21 dB의 반사 손실 값을 나타내며, 1.7-GHz, 즉 8.3 %의 주파수 대역을 가진다.

  • 인터넷의 비약적인 발전, 네트웍 인프라의 향상으로 인해 인터넷을 이용한 문서 처리는 날로 증가하고 있으며, 이 기종간의 문서 정보 교환 역시 계속해서 증가하고 있다. 또한 문서의 표현 방법 및 문서량의 증대로 사용자의 요구는 계속 다양해져 가고 있다. 기존의 웹에서 사용되고 있는 HTML(Hyper-Text Markup Language)의 경우 그 표현력의 한계 때문에 사용자가 직접 구조적인 문서를 생성할 수가 없었다. 이에 W3C에서 XML (eXtensible Markup Language)을 발표하여 사용자가 직접 논리적인 문서의 작성하는 것이 가능하도록 했다. 이러한 XML 문서의 논리적인 구조를 표현하기 위해서는 문서의 원형을 정의할 수 있는 DTD(Document Type Definition)가 필요하며, 본 논문은 이러한 XML 문서의 원형을 정의하기 위해 필요한 DTD를 보다 효율적이며 쉽게 작성할 수 있는 DTD 편집기의 구현 및 설계에 대하여 논술한다.

Finite Element Analysis of Capctive Silicon Pressure Sensors (용량형 실리콘 압력 센서의 유한요소 해석)

  • Capactive miro pressure sensor is simulated with finite element methods to analyze the effect of geometrical variation on its performace. Sensor material is th silicon single crystal. The sensor consists of a disk type diaphragm and several bridges connected to a rigid frame. Structural variables in consideration are the thickness of the diaphragm and the bridges, radius of the circular plate, and the number of bridges. Results of static, dynamic and sensitivity analyses reveal the best structure of the sensor among the fifteen cases under investigation.

Prediction for the Structural Behavior of the Stub-Girder System Using the Neural-Network-Based Model (신경망 근사 해석 모델에 의한 스터브 거더의 거동 예측)

  • 본 논문은 신경망 근사 해석 모델의 원형을 스터브 거더의 거동 해석에 적용하고, 이 과정 중에 발생한 문제점을 파악하여 해결책을 제시함으로써, 앞서 개발한 원형 모델을 스터브 거더 시스템에 적합하도록 발전시키는데 목적이 있다. 스터브 거더의 해석 변수는 주어진 시간 내에 시뮬레이션이 가능하게 7개, 해석 결과값은 탄성 처짐뿐만 아니라 응력까지 고려하여 총 4개의 결과값을 동시에 고려하고, 학습 패턴 수는 총 143개를 사용하였다. 근사해석의 정확도를 향상시키고 학습의 수렴성을 보장하기 위하여 다양한 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 은닉층 뉴런 수, 학습 패턴 그리고 최대 에러의 관계를 규명하고, 이 결과를 바탕으로 신경망 근사 해석 모델 개발 단계를 수정하여 제안하였다.
