  • AI와 사용자간의 대화를 통해 사용자의 요구사항을 파악하고, 해당 요구사항에 적합한 상품을 추천하는 형상을 인터랙션 기반 추천 시스템의 한 예로 볼 수 있다. 우리는 해당 시스템 개발을 위하여 의상 코디셋 추천을 위한 대화 기반 데이터셋을 구축하였다. 데이터셋은 대화와 의상 추천 절차를 반복하여 사용자가 원하는 의상셋을 찾아가는 내용으로 구성된다. 그리고, AI의 코디셋 추천 기술 검증을 위해 두가지 의상 추천 평가셋을 제안한다. 본 논문은 대화 데이터셋 및 관련 평가셋의 개발 절차 및 구성에 대하여 기술하고, 관련된 실험 결과 일부를 보여준다.

A Study on the Failure Characteristic of Laminated Composites Joint Containing Two Holes in Series or Parallel (복합적층판의 직병렬 유공 접합부의 파손연구)

  • A series of test was performed by measuring the failure strength and the failure mode of fiber reinforced composite laminates joint containing two holes in Series or Parallel. $[0^{\circ}/45^{\circ}/90^{\circ}/-45^{\circ}]_s$ laminate with W/d(Side distance ratio) 4.0 and E/d(Edge distance ratio) 3.0 has the full bearing strength and are preferable in case of the good efficiency in two series hole. Comparisons were made between testing results and predicting values of the FEM model. Good agreements were fecund between them except the case of $E/d=2{\sim}3$. In the case of $G_h{\geq}3.0d$ and $G_v{\geq}3.0d$ since the interaction coefficients between two parallel holes and between two series holes were small, holes can be treated as independent. The Acoustic Emission(AE) and SEM method were utilized to find out the initial defects, damage and the fracture mechanism.

Experimental Study for Capability of Air Slot in Siphon Spillway to Control Outflow Discharge (사이펀 여수로 공기혼입장치(air slot)의 방류량 조절 능력에 대한 실험 연구)

  • In this study, capability of an air slot in a siphon spillway for controlling outflow discharge is investigated through hydraulic experiments. Arc and rectangular shapes of air slot are considered and the open area of air slot can be varied. Complex air-regulated flow occurs inside of the siphon spillway when the air slot is installed on it. The same discharge is measured at the same water level inside the reservoir when the water level rises or falls. Nondimensional discharge through the siphon spillway decreases as nondimensional open area of the air slot increases when head differences and water levels of reservoir are constant. The hydraulic experiments show that the control of outflow discharge of siphon spillway is possible by controlling the open area of the air slot.

Optimal Grayscale Morphological Filters Under the LMS Criterion (LMS 알고리즘을 이용한 형태학 필터의 최적화 방안에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents a method for determining optimal grayscale function processing(FP) morphological filters under the least square (LMS) error criterion. The optimal erosion and dilation filters with a grayscale structuring element(GSE) are determined by minimizing the mean square error (MSE) between the desired signal and the filter output. It is shown that convergence of the erosion and dilation filters can be achieved by a proper choice of the step size parameter of the LMS algorithm. In an attempt to determine optimal closing and opening filters, a matrix representation of both opening and closing with a basis matrix is proposed. With this representation, opening and closing are accomplished by a local matrix operation rather than cascade operations. The LMS and back-propagation algorithm are utilzed for obtaining the optimal basis matrix for closing and opening. Some results of optimal morphological filters applied to 2-D images are presented.

Approximation Vertex Search of Polygon-based Shape Coding by the Type of Distortion Patterns (왜곡 패턴 유형에 의한 다각형 기반 형상 부호화의 근사 정점 탐색)

  • If we reduce the number of vertexes to decrease bit rate in polygon-based shape coding, the distortion of approximated contour increases rapidly. On the other hand, if we reduce the distortion, the number of vertexes increases rapidly and many bits are required to encode the vertexes. To improve this problem, in this paper we propose the approximation vertex search method. The encoder in the proposed method searches the type of distortion patterns that is the most similar to the shape which polygon edge and contour segment form and then encodes it. And then, the decoder mathematically finds the approximated vertexes from decoded distortion pattern information. Therefore, the proposed algorithm results in encoding many vertexes at a low bit rate and having the smoother shape than conventional method. As shown in computer simulation, the proposed method has less distortion than conventional method. It costs less bit rate by $10{\sim}20%$ than conventional algorithm in same distortion.

  • A beam is a major load-carrying member in many engineering structures. Beams with properly designed cross sections and stiffeners are required to enhance the structural properties. Such a design may cause various coupling behaviors, and therefore, an accurate analysis is essential for the proper design of beams. In this research, we manufactured box-beams with stiffeners, which mimic the out-of-plane composite bending-shear coupling behavior reported in literature. A modal test is carried out to obtain the dynamic characteristics, such as natural frequencies and mode shapes, of the box-beam. The obtained results are compared with those of 3D FEM, which confirm that the out-of-plane bending-shear coupling behavior reported in literature is possible. The coupling behavior can be controlled by the proper design of the stiffeners.

  • Recently, the interests in the 3D image, generated from the range data and CAD, have exceedingly increased, accordingly a various 3D image database is being constructed. The efficient and fast scheme to access the desired image data is the important issue in the application area of the Internet and digital library. However, it is difficult to manage the 3D image database because of its huge size. Therefore, a proper descriptor is necessary to manage the data efficiently, including the content-based search. In this paper, the proposed shape descriptor is based on the voxelization of the 3D image. The medial axis transform, stemming from the mathematical morphology, is performed on the voxelized 3D image and the graph, which is composed of node and edge, is generated from skeletons. The generated graph is adequate to the novel shape descriptor due to no loss of geometric information and the similarity of the insight of the human. Therefore the proposed shape descriptor would be useful for the recognition of 3D object, compression, and content-based search.

  • In the development of high-speed trains, ride comfort is an important factor that determines the quality of the train. In this study, the ride comforts of high-speed trains with rigid and flexible car bodies were evaluated. The rail irregularity is used as an exciting source of the car-body bounce motion. The complex extruded structures of the car-body are modeled as shell structures using the calculated equivalent stiffness of the flexible model. The numerical results show that the ride of the rigid-body model improves as the speed increases, which is unreasonable. In contrast, the relationship between ride comfort and speed in the case of flexible-body model is reasonable. Thus, it is confirmed that the flexibility of the car body needs to be taken into consideration while fabricating a high-speed train.

  • Recently, magnesium hydroxide ($Mg(OH)_2$) has many applications in various field, due to its outstanding characteristics such as a nontoxic, noncorrosive and thermal stable properties. In this study, different shapes of flower and flake type magnesium hydroxide were synthesized by precipitation method at room temperature using $MgSO_4$, $MgCl_2$ and $Mg(NO_3)_2$ as magnesium sources, NaOH and $NH_3$ as alkaline sources. Influence of synthesis on the morphological characteristics, sizes and shapes of magnesium hydroxide particles, was investigated, such as different precursors and parameters. The shape of magnesium hydroxide depend on magnesium and alkali sources. Average size of flower particle had about $1{\mu}m$, and flake had about 20 ~ 50 nm. The synthesised magnesium hydroxide groups were characterized by XRD, FE-SEM, FT-IR, EDS, PSA and TG.

  • 선박의 선체부분인 선수, 선미 등을 이루고 있는 곡형 외판의 제작은 강판을 원하는 형상으로 성형하기 위하여 벤딩롤러 및 유압프레스를 이용한 냉간가공과 산소-프로판가스 화염을 적용한 선상가열, 삼각가열을 이용한 열간가공으로 크게 구분할 수 있다. 선상가열을 이용한 곡면가공의 원리는 가열토치를 이용하여 강판을 가열하면 가열부는 팽창하게 되고 냉각시에는 수축하게 된다. 이 때 두께방향으로의 소성변형으로 인한 수축량의 차이로 인해 굽혀지게 된다. 최근에는 선박이 고기능 및 대형화로 인해 3차원 곡형 외판 형상이 복잡해지고, 강도를 향상시키기 위하여 합금원소(C, Nb, V, Ti)를 첨가하거나 열처리(노말라이징)를 이용한 고장력강재인 중후판의 적용이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 고강도강재를 선상가열공정으로 제작한 곡형 외판재는 가열, 냉각의 열사이클로 인해 취화되어 인성이 저하 될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 Normalizing 열처리재인 490MPa급 강재를 이용하여, 현장에서 작업자의 미숙련으로 인해 발생 할 수 있는 최대의 가혹한 조건과 재질에 큰 영향을 미치지 않는 범위를 선정하여 선상가열시의 가열, 냉각조건에 따른 강재의 재질특성을 조사하고자 한다. 이를 위해 가열시 가열부위의 정확한 온도 측정에 역점을 두었으며, 각각 다른 선상가열 조건에 따른 시편을 제작하기 위하여 선상가열 실험장치를 제작하였다. 선상가열 실험 결과 최고가열온도 $1300^{\circ}C,\;950^{\circ}C$에서 수냉 조건인 경우 급격한 인성저하 현상이 발생하며 비록 공냉이라 하더라도 결정립 조대화로 인성 저하가 발생하였다. $800^{\circ}C$가열 후 수냉개시온도를 $700^{\circ}C$이하로 수냉한 경우에는 인성 저하 현상이 개선되고 있음을 알 수 있다.
