작약 잎과 줄기의 건조 방법에 따른 Phenol 화합물의 변화 (Changes of Phenolic Compounds Affected by Different Drying Method in Leaves and Stems of Peony (Paeonia lactiflora Pall.))

  • 작약의 지상부인 잎과 줄기 부위가 함유하고 있는 주요성분인 paeoniflorin, methyl gallate, astragalin, kaempferol 등 4종의 화합물의 이용성을 높이기 위해 건조방법 및 건조 온도별 성분의 함량 변화를 검토한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 건조방법별 성분 변화는 kaempferol, methyl gallate, astragalin, paeoniflorin 등 모든 성분은 열풍건조나 dry oven 보다도 원적외선 건조 또는 상온 음건에서 더 높았다. 특히 methyl gallate는 상온 음건에서 0.52%로서 가장 높았다. 2. 건조온도별 성분변화는 kaempferol, methyl gallate, astragalin, paeoniflorin 등은 $40^{\circ}C$ 건조에서는 성분의 함량이 모두 높게 나타났으나 건조온도가 높아질수록 성분은 감소하는 경향이었다.

원적외선과 열풍 건조조건에 따른 오징어의 건조특성 (Drying Characteristics of Squids According to Far Infrared and Heated Air Drying Conditions)

  • Drying characteristics of squids under two dry conditions were investigated using far infrared and heated air. Dry temperatures of 40, 50 and $60^{\circ}C$ with air speed of 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 m/s were used for evaluating far infrared squid drying. Heated air squid drying at 40 and $50^{\circ}C$ with air speed of 0.8 m/s was used as a control treatment. The two drying were evaluated in terms of drying rate, color, TBA value, aerobic bacteria, cutting shear, penetration strength, and energy consumption. The drying rate of far infrared drying was relatively faster than that of heated air drying. The drying time of far infrared drying was reduced as the drying temperature increased. The color difference of far infrared dried squids was from 18.81 to 22.85, and heated air dried squid had the color different from 23.94 to 24.09. Far infrared dried squid had relatively smaller TBA values that indicate a level of rancidity. The aerobic bacteria of heated air dried squid increased from $970{\times}10^3$ to $40,000{\times}10^3$ CFU/g before and after drying, respectively. Far infrared dried squid had relatively smaller increase (from $970{\times}10^3$ to $40,000{\times}10^3$ CFU/g). The cutting shear and penetration strength for far infrared dried squids was relatively lower. In addition, far infrared squid drying consumed relatively less energy compared to heated air drying.

산삼배양근의 원적외선 건조특성 (Far Infrared Rays Drying Characteristics of Tissue Cultured Mountain Ginseng Roots)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the drying characteristics of tissue cultured mountain ginseng roots. The far infrared rays dryer of a double blast system used for this experiment can control the drying parameters such as far infrared heater temperature and air velocity. The far infrared rays drying tests of tissue cultured mountain ginseng roots were performed at air velocity of 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 m/s, under drying air temperature of 50, 60, and $70^{circ}C$, respectively. The results were compared with one obtained by the heated air drying method. The drying characteristics such as drying rate, color, energy consumption, saponin components and antioxidant activities were analyzed. The results showed that the drying rate of far infrared rays drying was faster than that of heated air drying and due to high temperature of drying air and fast air velocity, the far infrared rays drying of double blast type was superior to the heated air drying. The value of the color difference for heated air drying was 10.11${\sim}$12.99 and that of far infrared rays drying was in the range of 7.05${\sim}$7.54, which was in the same drying condition, also energy consumption of far infrared rays drying was in the range of 3575${\sim}$6898 kJ/kg-water. At the same time, the antioxidant activities using far infrared rays drying were higher than those using heated air drying.

원적외선 전신조사가 류마티스 관절염 유발 흰쥐에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Far-Infrared on Rheumatoid Arthritis Induced Rats)

  • The purpose of this study was to observe the effects of far-infrared on rheumatoid arthritis induced rats by type ⅡI collagen with the change of arthritis index, hind paw volume, TNF-α and histopathologic findings. Thirty-six Sprauge-Dawley rats which were divided into four group. Group Ⅰ : Normal group, Group Ⅱ : Collagen-Induced Arthritis group, Group Ⅲ : Far-Infrared 25㎝ radiation group, Group Ⅳ : Far-Infrared 35㎝ radiation group. The results of this study were as follows: In arthritis index, far-infrared radiation group(Ⅲ, Ⅳ) are more decreased than collagen-induced arthritis group(Ⅱ). Group Ⅲ and Ⅳ showed the most significant effect at 14 day(p<0.05). In hind paw, far-infrared 25㎝ radiation group(Ⅲ) significantly decreased more than only collagen-induced arthritis group on day 14(p<0.05). Far-infrared 35㎝ radiation group(Ⅳ) significantly decreased more than collagen-induced arthritis group on day 3, 7 and 14(p<0.05). In the ELISA study of TNF-α concentration, collagen-induced arthritis group significantly increased in the concentration more than normal group. Far-infrared radiation group(Ⅲ, Ⅳ) decreased in TNF-α concentration more than collagen-induced arthritis group(Ⅱ) on day 14. In histopathologic findings, collagen-induced arthritis(Ⅱ) and far-infrared 25㎝ radiation group(Ⅲ) increased in synovial membrane thickness on 3 day. Far-infrared 35 em radiation group(Ⅳ) decreased in the concentration more than collagen-induced arthritis group on day 14. The above results suggest that far-infrared radiation effectively reduced in rheumatoid arthritis. It would be considered that far-infrared has an effects on relieving rheumatoid arthritis.

식품, 신선편이 농산물용 저장기간 연장 포장 소재 특성 및 평가 (Characterization of Shelf Life Extension Packaging Material for Food and Fresh Cut Agricultural Product: A Review)

  • 신선편이 농산물은 소비자에게 편이성을 제공하면서 수요가 크게 증가하고 있으나 가공과정 중 절단, 박피 등의 물리적인 변화로 인하여 쉽게 품질이 변하거나 미생물 증식 등이 발생할 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 신선편이 농산물의 저장성 및 안정성 향상을 목적으로 필름이나 용기 형태의 기능성 포장재를 개발하고자 하는 노력이 지속되고 있으며, 아울러 저장기간 연장에 관한 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이와 관련하여 저장기간에 영향을 주는 항균, 원적외선, 통기성, 방담, 미약전류, 에틸렌가스 흡착 또는 분해, MA (Modified Atmosphere) 또는 CA (Controlled Atmosphere)와 같은 기체 조성 변화 등을 통해 저장기간을 연장시키는 방법이 주목받고 있는데, 한 가지에 의해서가 아니라 여러 가지 복합적인 요인들이 작용하여 저장기간을 연장시키는 방법이 효과적으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 보다 효과적으로 신선편이 농산물, 식품 등의 저장기간을 연장시키기 위해 발표된 문헌자료를 토대로 저장기간 연장 포장법, 저장기간 연장 포장소재, 종합적인 평가 방법 등을 중심으로 정리하였다.

길경 재배년수, 수확시기 및 건조방법에 따른 조사포닌 함량 (Crude Saponin Contents of Platycodon grandiflorum(Jacq.) A.DC.)

  • 길경의 품질평가 기준으로 활용하고 있는 crude saponin 함량 변화를 밝히고 고품질 약재생산 및 가공을 위한 기초자료를 얻고자 생육년수, 부위, 수확시기, 및 건조방법별로 조사포닌 함량을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. Crude saponin 함량은 생육년수가 증가함에 따라 점점 감소하였다. 부위별로는 미부에서 2.74%로 두부 1.65%보다 1.6배 높았으며, 외피가 내심보다 1.8배 높았다. 수확시기별로는 3월과 12월에 수확했을 때가 각각 2.82, 2.74%이었으며 6월과 9월은 각각 2.12, 2.09%이었다. 건조방법별로는 증건했을 때 가 1.65%로 가장 낮았고 양건, 음건, 열풍건 및 원적외선 건조에서는 차이가 없었다.

반도성 PTC 서미스터의 원적외선 방사특성에 미치는 MnO의 영향 (The Influence of MnO doped on the Radiation Properties of Far-Infrared in Semiconduction PTC Thermistor.)

  • In this paper, the radiation properties of a far-Infrared using a PTC thermistor, the $BaTiO_3$+1.63mol% $Al_2O_3$+3.75mol% $SiO_2$+1.25mol% $TiO_2$(1/3 $Al_2O_3+xSiO_2$+(1-x) $TiO_2$; total x: 6.67mol%) ceramics, in order to progress the grade resistivity characteristics, by adding an ethanol solution of $Mn(NO_3){\cdot}6H_2O$ was investigated. The ceramics was fabricated by wet-mill method. The sintering temperature read 1300-1350$[^{\circ}C]$ and the holding time was 3 hours. The quantity of $Sb_2O_3$ and $Al_2O_3$ for an activation of the far-infrared radiation in ceramics was doped. In sintering, R-T property was measured by varying the grade temperature. The anatase-lighting apparatus and microstructures by using XRD and SEM were observed. $Sb_2O_3$. oxides additive. affected the semiconducting and emissivity and MnO was devoted an increase of resistivity. The specimen which only $Sb_2O_3$ is added to was high appeared far-infrared emissivity and Mno was not affacted the far-infrared radiation. The ceramics shows that it is effective in the structure of the human bodies as organic bodies and can be applied as electron device.

  • 최근 난방장치에 대한 에너지의 효율적 사용측면에서 경제성과 안정성을 높이기위한 지속적인 연구 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 특히 고성능 및 신기능 소재에 대한 기술개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 에너지 전달특성이 우수한 발열제품 개발에 관한 것으로 침구류나 매트리스 등에 사용되는 발열체는 전열선을 사용하는 것으로서 전열선이 가늘기 때문에 열의 분포가 전열선 주변에서만 집중되어 전열선에서 떨어진 부분과 온도 편차가 심하게 발생되는 단점이 있다. 또한 전자기가 유도되어 인체에 유해하고 에너지 소비도 많다. 따라서 원적외선, 음이온 등이 방사되어 인체에 이로우면서도 무해할 뿐 아니라 열전도가 우수하여 에너지 효율을 높일 수 있는 SiC계 세라믹을 이용한 면상발열판넬을 개발하고자 한다.

매트 형태의 예혼합 촉매 버너에 의한 복사 건조 특성 (Drying Characteristics of a Radiative Industrial Dryer Adopting a Mat-Type Premixed Catalytic Burner)

  • 인체에 유해한 질소산화물($NO_x$)의 생성을 억제하면서 열효율을 높일 수 있는 새로운 버너의 개념으로 촉매 버너가 제안되었고 본 연구에서는 대표적인 에너지 다소비 설비인 건조기에 사용하기 위한 촉매버너를 개발하였다. 산업용 건조기에 활용하기 위해 촉매버너는 평평한 매트 형태로 제작되어 열전달 면적을 극대화하였고 밀폐 공간인 건조실에 활용하기 위하여 예혼합 연소방식을 적용하였다. 새로 개발된 촉매 버너를 산업용 건조기에 적용하여 실험한 결과 열에너지가 원적외선 형태로 공급되어 감율건조 영역에서 식품과 같은 유기물을 효과적으로 건조할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 건조기의 열효율은 건조속도보다 피건조물의 함수율에 보다 큰 상관관계를 나타내었다.

원적외선 및 증숙 처리에 따른 인삼 잎의 Protopanaxadiol Ginsenosides 변화 (Changes of Protopanaxadiol Ginsenosides in Ginseng Leaves by Far Infrared and Steaming Heat Treatments)

  • PPD ginsenosides in ginseng leaf were analyzed to determine effects of either FIR heat or steaming heat treatment. Among the PPD ginsenosides, Rb1, Rc and Rb3 forming four glycoside-attached aglycons were increased as FIR heat temperatures were increased from 60 to $120^{\circ}C$, while Rb3 was decreased. In addition, FIR heat treatment was effective to increase Rd forming a three glycoside-attached aglycon. Rg3 and Rh2 were not increased by the FIR heat treatment. In steaming heat treatment, Rb1 was significantly decreased, while Rb2 was increased. Rd was also increased by increased steaming temperature, yet its content was lower than in the FIR heat treatment. However, the steaming heat treatment increased yields of Rg3 and Rh2, which were not observed in the FIR heat treatment. Thus, FIR heat treatment was beneficial to efficient products of Rb1, Rc, Rb3 and Rd. Steaming heat treatment was effective to higher collection of Rb2, Rg3 and Rh2.
