에이전트 위임모델 기반 워크플로우 시스템은 기존 클라이언트 서버기반 워크플로우 시스템과 이동에이전트 기반 워크플로우 시스템보다 워크플로우 수가 증가하고 워크플로우 구조가 복잡해짐에 따라 보다 좋은 성능 및 확장성을 제공한다. 이는 에이전트 위임모델이 워크플로우 엔진에서 발생하는 병목현상을 제거하여 작업수행자(Task Performer)라 명명된 호스트들로 워크플로우 엔진의 부하를 자연스럽게 분산시키기 때문이다. 에이전트 위임모텔은 워크플로우 엔진의 부하를 제거하지만, 작업수행자의 부하를 고려하지 않고 작업을 할당하기 때문에, 작업수행자에 병목현상을 발생시킬 수 있다. 이는 에이전트 위임모델의 목적인 워크플로우 시스템의 성능 및 확장성 향상을 저해하는 요인이다. 따라서, 워크플로우 시스템의 성능 및 확장성을 향상시키기 위해서는 작업수행자에 발생하는 병목현상을 제거해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 작업수행자의 병목현상을 제거하기 위해 응답리스트(Response List)를 제안하며 응답리스트 관리방법을 제시한다. 이러한 응답리스트가 에이전트 위임모델 기반 워크플로우 시스템의 성능 및 확장성 향상에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 성능평가를 수행한다.

Along with the fast development of "smart"information technology including smart phones, a concern for increased productivity and better work-life balance is growing faster than ever. In many cases, the expectations for "smart work"remain only superficial at most, and the theoretical foundation for smart work research, much less with clear definitions, is not based on sound research. This article primarily aims to clarify the differences between the concept of telework and that of smart work. Particularly, a research framework for smart work, reflecting the points of differentiation for smart work on the basis of previous telework research framework is suggested. Then, we go further to discuss the limitations of existing telework research to suggest new research agenda for smart work research, and review current smart work policy being executed by the Korean government to suggest directions for the future. We expect to make academic contributions to the advancement of smart work research in the IS research field as well as provide practical insights for local policy planners.

The best-fit workflow management system architecture for the workflows in the internet is dependent on the workflow types that should be processed in the workflow system. Since a workflow management system should accommodate various kinds of workflows requiring different workflow system architectures respectively as their best-fit workflow system architectures, it is ideal that a workflow system covers various workflow system architectures and changes its architecture according to the input workflow types. In this paper we propose a workflow system architecture that covers various workflow architectures within a single workflow system. The system changes its architecture by creating an execution object for a task in the form of an object instance and placing the created object instance to anywhere the system wants to. Performance test has been performed on the early versions of the system changing its architectures, and the results are illustrated. The results show that the distributed multiple workflow servers in the internet can contribute to not only reliable control of the distributed tasks but also enhancing total throughput of a workflow system.

CSA(Control Self Assessment) is a new internal control technique whose objective is to control the human resource performance, the manager's philosophy, the business ethics, the effective communication and decision making etc. The purpose of this study is to find out if the CSA improve the quality of internal control. With the questionnaire method the following conclusions are reached. 1) Level of the management supports influence the level of the workshop participation. 2) Anonymity during the workshop session influences the level of workshop participation. 3) Level of the organizational committment influences the level of the participation 4) The level of workshop performance significantly influences the level of internal contro improvement.

There are many complicated situations which could be occurred in users' surroundings, so it is required to develop automation services to provide users with appropriate services in ubiquitous computing environments. However, most of the current context-aware workflow systems express context-aware services only with a single workflow. Therefore, they have difficulties in providing users with various and composite services by combining different workflows. In this paper we propose a CAWL-based context-aware workflow system, where CAWL is a context-aware workflow language to express a composite workflow model by describing individual service workflows. The proposed system can provide users with various composite workflow services based on a service scenario, which is described with CAWL. And by reusing a number of single workflows to construct composite workflow services, it is possible to save time and effort to develop context-aware workflows.

In this paper, we propose a disconnectedness determination algorithm for workflow-supported enterprise social networks. this networks can be discovered from the work-allocation relationships between activities and performers in workflow procedures and It networks are useful to analyze, evaluate and numerically explain the work-performance of performers. But there could be the disconnectedness due to the characteristics of workflow, and therefore analysis result of performers can be inappropriate logically as well as mathematically. So, we have to decide whether or not this network is disconnectedness before we analyze workflow-supported enterprise social networks. Conclusively, we try to carry out a thorough investigation into the formation reasons of the disconnectedness, and propose a determination algorithm of the disconnectedness for workflow-supported enterprise social networks.

In workflow process intelligence and systems, workflow process mining and analysis issues are becoming increasingly important. In order to improve the quality of workflow process intelligence, it is essential for an efficient and effective data center storing workflow enactment event logs to be provisioned in carrying out the workflow process mining and analytics. In this paper, we propose a three-dimensional process-aware datacube for organizing workflow enterprise data centers to efficiently as well as effectively store the workflow process enactment event logs in the XES format. As a validation step, we carry out an experimental process mining to show how much perfectly the process-aware datacubes are suitable for discovering workflow process patterns and its analytical knowledge, like enacted proportions and enacted work transferences, from the workflow process enactment event histories. Finally, we confirmed that it is feasible to discover the fundamental control-flow patterns of workflow processes through the implemented workflow process mining system based on the process-aware data cube.

본 논문에서는 이동 단말기를 이용해 외부 네트워크에서 홈 네트워크로 안전하게 접근을 하기 위한 방법을 제시한다. PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)와 같은 이동 단말기가 발달함에 따라 외부 네트워크에서 흠 네트워크에 접속하여 가전 장비들을 제어하는 연구가 매우 중요하다. 그러나 방화벽만으로 홈 네트워크의 장비에 안전하게 접속하여 제어하기에는 많은 문제점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 외부네트워크에서 흠 네트워크로의 안전한 접근을 위해서 가상 사설망(Virtual Private Network)을 홈 네트워크에 적용하는 방법을 제시한다.

유비쿼터스 시대를 맞이하여 무선 네트워크 환경이 급속도로 발전하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 현재 널리 사용되고 유선 기반의 무선네트워크가 아닌 무선으로만 네트워크를 형성할 수 있는 무선 메쉬 네트워크에 초점을 맞출 다양한 라우팅 프로토콜에 대하여 알아본다. 현재의 무선 메쉬 라우팅 프로토콜에 대한 연구는 주로 기존의 무선 네트워크의 라우팅 프로토콜을 적용하는 수준에 머물러 있다. 하지만 무선 메쉬 네트워크는 기존의 무선 네트워크와는 다른 특성이 있다. 이에 무선 메쉬 네트워크의 특성을 파악하여 새로운 라우팅 프로토콜을 개발 하고자 한다.

최근 홈 내에서는 PC나 가전기기의 수가 증가하며, 네트워크 활용이 커짐에 따라 홈네트워크 기술이 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 이러한 홈네트워크 기술은 PC나 가전기기 사이에 통신이 가능하도록 하는 기술을 말한다. 본 논문에서는 홈네트워크와 관련된 여러 가지 홈네트워크 기술을 살펴보도록 한다. 또한 지능형 홈네트워크 기술과 함께 센서네트워크를 활용한 앞으로의 지능형 홈네트워크 기술에 대해서도 알아보도록 한다.
