The Estimation of Software Development Effort Using Multiple Regression Method (다중회귀 분석을 이용한 소프트웨어 개발노력추정)

  • To accomplish a project successfuly, we have to estimate develpment effort accurately. But, development effort is different to software size and operation environment. Usually, we made use of function point for estimating development effort. In this paper. we make use of 789 project data. It is related to development projects in 1990`s. We investigate the variable affecting development effort. Also, we exedcute multiple liner regression analysis for looking linear relation about variables. We find the regression equation for multistage by dividing PDR that influ-enced development effort step by step.

  • 전력산업 구조개편이후 송전체제, 특히 송전요금체계에 관한 연구가 미흡한 가운데 자연적 독점을 유지하게 될 송전에 대한 정부의 규제가 중요성을 가지게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 여러 정부 규제방안들을 비교 검토하여 최적방안 모색을 위한 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 송전요금은 비용반영 투명성, 비(非)차별, 경쟁 등의 원칙을 지켜야 하고 이런 송전요금에는 경제적 효율성 사회 복지, 비용 최소 운영 등의 증진을 위해 한계비용이 반영되어야 한다. 하지만, 송전 네트웍은 규모의 경제에 종속되는 장기 투자로 구성된다. 이런 조건에서는 한계비용은 정의되기 어렵다. 그러므로 송전요금은 단기적 한계비용들의 신호와 장기적으로는 적절한 비용회수의 보장들과의 타협조정을 해야 한다. 네트웍 요금은 경쟁 정책의 원칙을 준수할 필요가 있으며 어떤 한 네트웍 회사도 과도한 요금을 부과한다든지 또는 사용자들을 차별한다든지 또는 약탈적(predatory) 방식으로 행동할 시에는 지배적 지위 남용에 대해 벌칙을 당하게 되어있다. 송전요금에 관한 결정은 공공서비스 의무비용, 특정 소비자그룹 우대를 위한 국가 정책들과 같은 사회적 목적들에 의해 제한을 받는다. 현존하는 대표적인 정부규제방안인 가격상한제와 투자보수율 규제방식을 검토한 결과 유도된 중요한 사실은 가격상한제 규제방식이 기업들로 하여금 위험(risk)에 좀 더 종속되게 만들지만 반면에 비용절감을 위한 강력한 인센티브를 주어 효율성 향상을 기할 수 있게 만든다는 것이다. 이러한 사실은 가격상한제 규제방식이 정부규제의 기본원칙에 더 많이 부합되며 궁극적인 경제체제의 목표인 자원의 효율적 배분에 더 가깝다는 것을 의미한다.

An Experimental Investigation for Efficient Operation of Septic Tank (정화조의 효율적인 운영을 위한 실험적 고찰)

  • A septic tank is a purification treatment system where night soil and other waste matter is converted into harmless material by the activities of bacteria. Effluent from the septic tank flows into the sewer pipe, and then this effluent affects the quality of water environment and makes foul smell. In this study, through the proper maintenance of septic tank it was tried to minimize the impact of sewer pipe on water quality and fouling smell. BOD removal rate from the septic tank's effluent which exceeded legal cleaning period was investigated for the proper maintenance. BOD Removal rate of the twelve septic tank's effluent is -62.5% to 43.9%. According to the result of BOD removal rate, septic tank cleaning should be done at least once a year. And the pathogenic coliform bacillus in the twelve septic tank's effluent is average 768,000 (MPN/$100m{\ell}$). The chlorine disinfection is needed to remove the pathogenic coliform bacillus in septic tank effluent.

국내외 벼 수확후 관리 현황조사

  • 고품질 쌀 생산을 위하여 우리나라의 농가 및 미곡종합처리장의 벼 수확후 품질관리 현황 실태를 조사하여 일본, 미국, 중국 둥의 현황과 비교하였다. 중국의 경우 벼 수확은 대부분 인력에 의존하고 있으며, 일본은 산물형 콤바인 그리고 미국은 대형산물 콤바인에 의한 적기수확을 하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우에는 콤바인이 부족하고 벼 수확시기는 콤바인 운영자의 일정에 따라 결정되고 있으며 습논, 소면적 재배 논은 수확이 늦어져 적기 수확이 못되고 있는 실정이다. 한편 일본은 라이스센터, 컨트리엘레베타, 드라이스토아 등의 지원으로 적기 수확이 가능하고 건조기 건조율도 90%이상 2단계 상온 통풍체계로 수분함량 14.5~15.5%를 유지하고 있다. 우리나라를 제외한 일본, 중국, 미국의 저장시설은 대부분 대형저장 사이로에서 품종별, 산지별, 등급별로 구분한 저온저장 시스템을 갖추어 품질을 유지하고 있었다. 또한 도정시설도 고품질 도정시설을 완비하고 있으며 제현이나 정미과정에 색채선별기, 금속검출기, 활성화 장치 및 입형분리기 등을 통하여 불완전미가 제거하는 등 수확후 관리에 철저를 기하고 있다. 쌀의 등급화 및 유통과정를 보면 일본, 중국, 미국 등은 대부분이 품종, 산지 및 등급별로 브랜드화 하여 차별화 된 가격으로 판매되고 있으며 포장지에 쌀에 대한 정보를 최대한 표시하여 소비자가 선택하는데 도움이 되게 하여 유통되고 있다.

End-to-End Performance of VoIP Traffics over Large Scale MANETs (대규모 MANET에서 VoIP 트래픽의 종단간 성능)

  • In this paper, End-to-End VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) performance over large scale MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Networks) is evaluated. VoIP implementation model, which can be used for large scale MANET, is suggested through this evaluation. VoIP simulator based on NS-2 network simulator is used for performance measurement. Call connection ratio as a connection performance, MOS and network delay as a transmission performance, packet loss rate as other performance is measured with this simulation. Finally, maximum $10{\sim}15km^2$ as a single MANET, 500 nodes and 100 call connections is suggested for VoIP implementation and operation conditions over large scale MANETs.

  • The previous disk scheduling schemes for best-effort applications do not guarantee the real-time requirement of multimedia objects and the real-time disk scheduling schemes do not satisfy throughput of multimedia server. So, this paper propose a two-step disk scheduling scheme to satisfy the requirement of best-effort as well as soft real-time applications. This scheme is based on the round robin algorithm that imposes different weights on the best-effort task and the real-time one. The experiment results on the Linux kernel have shown that both best-effort tasks and real-time tasks could get fair service.

  • Most of intelligent services provided today work based on the users' location. Numerous devices for indoor localization services have their own characteristic functions and operating systems, we need the interoperability and diversity of middleware to connect and control these devices. The indoor localization method using existing inertial sensors are relatively less efficient because of additional cost according to the size of space. Accordingly, the indoor user localization method proposed in this study supports integrated services using OSGi framework, an open source project, and solves problems in inertial sensor based on accurate distance to a specific object measured using ultrasonic sensor. Furthermore, it reduces errors resulting from difference in response rate by adding the reliability item.

A Study on the Effects of Flexible Operation of Imported Grain Transportation Vehicles on Logistics Costs by Considering Empty Transfer Rates (공차율을 고려한 유연한 수입곡물 화물차운영이 물류비용에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study analyzed regular transportation costs between port warehouses and processing plants and between processing plants and central distribution centers and further transportation costs relations according to empty transfer rates in each circulation by examining the distribution routes of imported grain including wheat, barley, corn, and soybean, namely port warehouses, processing plants, and central distribution centers. Based on the results, the study compared and reviewed the logistics transportation costs. The analysis results of the alternative model show that logistics operational costs could be considerably cut down by introducing a flexible vehicle transportation operational method, which is to change the vehicle loading parts for proper substitute transportation after unloading and transport them to other locations such as central distribution centers instead of returning empty, as an alternative to high operational costs deriving from empty vehicle operation in each circulation after unloading items in case of transportation of imported grain and processed items. The results allow for a more realistic approach to general problems with large-scale distribution network operation and provide a theoretical foundation to serve as a guide to establish policies for corporate operation of imported grain logistics systems.

  • A network design problem (NDP) is to find a design parameter to optimize the performance of transportation system. This paper presents a modified NDP, called target-oriented NDP, which contains a target that we try to arrive in real world, and also proposes a solution algorithm. Unlike general NDP which seeks an optimal value to minimize or to maximize objective function of the system, in target-oriented NDP traffic manager or operator can set a target level prior and then try to find an optimal design variable to attain this goal. A simple example for mode choice problem is given to test the model.

  • This study is about throughput analysis of the shared right turn lane at signalized intersection with lane width change. It is expected that the increased width of the right turn shared lane causes to increase the volume of right turn on red(RTOR) In this study, the throughput computation is designed to take into account the lost time which is caused by the blocked right turn due to the stop of through traffic. The saturation flow rate of right turn using the rest of lane after through traffic stops is included as well. Results show that the different RTOR volume levels due to the various shared lane width leads to a difference in throughput. For the shared right turn lanes. throughput capacity for various lane widths is bigger than that of the KHCM as much as from 1.1 to 2.1 times.
