The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual usefulness of bathrooms and to clarify the preference of bathroom plans by college students in Jeonju City. Data was collected through self-administered questionnaires and 315 college students were used for this study. The major results are as follows. The bathroom types were mostly unit bathrooms and were not suited with using bathrooms of college students. The college students usually used unit bathrooms individually for stool and showering. The unit type of bathroom was not comfortable for them and, therefore, most of them were not satisfied with their bathrooms. They wanted a separate space for different facilities such as a bathtub and toilet, a dressing room, and a fixed clothes chest. Generally the college students did not prefer unit bathrooms, but the bathroom plan with separate rooms for the bathroom and toilet, with space for dressing. This study suggests that further studies be conducted on college students in other big, small and medium-sized cities. Also, it is necessary to offer bathroom plans which take the size of houses and bathrooms, and the number of bathrooms into account and to survey housing consumers' satisfaction of those bathroom plans.

The purpose of this study is to provide a basic study for a desirable bathroom planning of the 30s pyung apartment. The survey was performed to the housewives of 30s pyung apartments in Seoul. The purpose of the survey was to examine the dweller's consciousness, satisfaction, and demands on bathroom in 30s pyung apartments, and to give useful information on bathroom planning of 30s pyung apartment. Some details shoul be considered in bathroom planning of 30s pyung spartments. It seems that the bathrooms of bath unit and extra sink and a toilet stool are the most approriate type in 30s pyung apartment among present bathroom types. It is suitable that the bathroom is close to bedroom and the bathroom door faces the wall. There is much meed for a showercurtain and more comfortable toilet stool. It is necessary to reduce the noise of toilet stool and reinforce the soundproofing fuction in bathroom. And the function of ventilation, drainage, and insulation should be improved for better bathroom enivronment. The implications of this findings for apartment bathroom planning and future research were discussed.

이 연구는 2015 개정 교육과정의 중학교 기술 가정 '주거 환경과 안전' 수업을 위해 중학생의 안전의식을 함양하고 안전한 주생활을 실천할 수 있도록 실천적 문제 중심 가정과 교수 학습 과정안을 개발하여 적용하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 개발은 ADDIE 단계에 따라 2015 개정 교육과정과 교육부 안전교육 7대 표준안, 2009 개정 교육과정 및 중학교 기술 가정 교과서의 주생활 단원을 분석하여 총괄 학습목표와 성취기준, 실천적 문제를 선정하고, 안전관련 내용요소를 추출하여 재구성한 후, 4차시분의 학습주제(생활 안전사고와 주생활 재난, 가족의 특성에 따른 주거의 장소별 안전, 안전한 실내환경, 안전한 주생활 실천활동)의 차시별 실천적 문제 중심 교수 학습 과정안과 학습자료(학습 활동지 26개와 읽기 자료 8개, 교사용 자료 8개, PPT자료 4세트, 동영상 8개)와 설문지를 개발하여 2015년 12월 21~29일 경북 문경시 소재 남자중학교 1학년 전체 4학급 121명을 대상으로 연구자 자신의 수업에 적용하고 108명의 학생 평가 결과를 분석하였다. '주거 환경과 안전' 수업을 위한 성취기준은 2015 개정 교육과정 "9기가02-12. 쾌적한 주거 환경 조성을 위한 조건을 분석하고, 주생활과 관련된 안전사고의 예방 및 대처 방안을 탐색하여 실생활에 적용한다."에 따라 우리 가족의 안전한 주생활 실천을 위한 4차시별 실천적 문제 중심 수업을 도입(생각 열기, 학습 목표 안내), 전개(문제 인식, 정보 탐색 및 대안 선택, 가치 탐구 및 추론), 정리(수업 정리 및 발전, 과제 제시) 순으로 진행되도록 하였다. 학생들의 안전사고 실태는 77.8%가 부엌, 방, 욕실 화장실 등에서 넘어짐, 부딪힘, 베임, 끼임, 미끄러짐 등의 사고가 일어난 적이 있었다. 학생들은 수업 전반에 관한 평가에서 이 수업이 실천적 문제를 이용한 수업주제와 학습자료, 모둠활동을 통한 다양한 안전사고 사례 조사 발표, 학생 활동 중심 수업으로 진행함으로써 수업내용이 이해하기 쉽고, 재미있으며, 실생활에 도움이 되는 유익한 것으로 평소보다 더 즐겁게 참여하였으며, 수업내용이 오래 기억될 것이라 하였다. 각 차시별 수업내용은 주생활 안전을 위협하는 요소를 인식하고 이를 개선할 수 있으며, 나의 행동이 가족과 사회에도 영향을 미친다는 사실을 알게 하였다. 특히 어린이와 노인에게 안전사고가 많이 발생한다는 사실을 알고 어린이와 노인을 배려하는 자세를 가지도록 하였다. 안전한 주생활 실천의식에서는 생활용품의 안전관련 표시사항을 읽고 안전한 사용을 위해 노력하며, 집을 비울 때 안전점검을 실시하고 실내공기를 쾌적하게 하기 위해 자주 환기를 시키는 등 앞으로 배운 것을 실생활에서 실천하며 가족에게도 알려 함께 실천하겠다는 의지를 보였으며 다른 학교에서도 교육되길 제안하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 이 실천적 문제 중심 교수 학습 과정안은 2015 개정 교육과정의 '주거 환경과 안전' 성취기준을 달성하는데 적절하다고 할 수 있겠다.
