  • 국내 게임 분야의 기술은 업소용 게임장을 중심으로 3차원 영상과 부분적인 체감형 인터페이스를 채용한 게임이 빠른 증가 추세이고, 게임 내용에 따른 재미 요소와 인간의 감각을 매개로 하는 다양한 체감형 반응.조작 장치의 시험적 상용화가 증가되고 있다. 따라서 3D 영상 및 실세계를 정밀하게 실시간으로 시뮬레이션 할 수 있는 물리 엔진의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 PC를 기반으로 한 물리엔진에 대한 설계와 구현 결과에 대해서 서술한다.

Faster Collision Response for Rigid Articulated Bodies by Reformulating Linear Equations (선형방정식의 재구성을 통한 강체 다관절체 충돌반응 속도 개선)

  • We present a linear-time algorithm for treating collision response of articulated rigid bodies in physically based modeling. By utilizing the topology of articulated rigid bodies and the property of linear equations, our method can solve in linear time the system of linear equations that is crucial for treating collision response. We also present several new joint condition equations for articulated rigid bodies composed of various joints.

  • 최근 기업에서의 인터넷 응용이 보편화되고 있으며, 인터넷 기반의 전자상거래(CALS/EC)는 선택의 문제가 아니라 생존의 수단으로 받아 들여 지고 있다. CALS/EC는 비즈니스 관련 정보를 전자적으로 교환함으로써 기존의 비즈니스 방식을 개선, 전환, 재정의하고, 비용절감, 품질향상, 서비스의 품질과 속도개선을 통해 고객만족과 기업이윤을 증대시키는 새로운 기업의 전술로 정의되고 있다. 이러한 인터넷 기반 CALS/EC의 활성화로 인해 여러 분야에서의 기업 상품에 대한 마케팅 전략 등이 최우선적으로 고려되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 전자상거래를 포함, 인터넷 이용자의 특성.취향을 분석하기 위한 이용자 특성.취향 분석 시스템의 구성원리와 그 구성요소 중 하나의 모듈인 특성화된 이용자 로그정보로부터 추적 알고리즘을 이용한 시뮬레이션을 수행함으로써, 보다 정확한 이용자 정보를 수집하여 유연성있는 정보를 제공할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하고 구현하였다.

부산신항 진출입 항로 내 선박 통항 안전성 향상에 관한 연구

  • 물동량 증가로 인하여 부산신항에는 극초대형 컨테이너 선박들이 입항하고 있으며 서컨테이너 부두 건설 사업이 완료되면 부산신항 진출입 항로 내 다양한 조우 상황 발생으로 충돌 위험 상황을 초래할 수 있어 선박 통항 안전성 향상 방안 마련을 위하여 부산신항 내 항만 입출항 현황과 해상교통흐름을 살펴보았으며, AHP 기법을 활용하여 위험요소 및 안전대책 식별로 도출된 안전대책을 기반으로 환경 스트레스 모델을 활용하여 해상교통류 시뮬레이션을 실시하여 각 안전대책의 교통 위험도를 파악하였다. 설문조사 및 시나리오 평가 결과, 선박운항자는 일방통행을 위한 진입금지 해역 설정을 가장 중요하게 생각하였으며, 이는 위험도 경감에 큰 효과가 있을 것으로 예상되었다, 본 연구는 부산신항을 입출항 하는 선박들의 통항 안전성 제고를 위한 안전대책 마련의 기반이 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • OCSP (Online Certificate Status Protocol) server which checks the certificate status provides the real time status verification in the PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) system which is the essential system of certificate. However, OCSP server need the message authentication with the server and client, so it has some shortcomings that has slow response time for the demands of many clients concurrently and has complexity of the mathematical process in the public encryption system. In this research, simulation model of the certificate status vertification server is constructed of the DEVS (Discrete EVent system Specification) formalism. This sever model is constructed to practice the authentication with hash function when certificate is checked. Simulation results shows the results of increase of the certificate status verification speed and decrease of the response time to the client.

  • The simulation-based weapon system effectiveness analysis is to support the decision making in the acquisition process of the defense domain. The effectiveness of the weapon system is a complexly influenced indicator from various factors such as environment, doctrine and so on. And the measurement of effectiveness can be defined differently in compliance with major issues in the weapon system. Because of this, the weapon system effectiveness analysis requires the comparative experiment of various alternatives based on the underlying assumption. This paper presents the efficient approach to reconfigure the simulation using the reflection technique. The proposed method contains the recoupling and resetting the simulation entity using DEVS(Discrete EVent System specification) formalism-based dynamic plug-in method. With the proposed method, this paper designs the effectiveness analysis environment that can efficiently handle the various alternatives of the weapon system.

  • In the car design process, Interior color scheme is one of the important factors that determined consumer's emotional evaluation with a car styling. The systematic research on the car interior color planning may be not achieved in spite of its importance because it is difficult to simulate color scheme before deciding final prototype. The various alternative of color scheme can be simulated and evaluated in early stage of car design process based on upgraded performance of computer hardware and advance41 co-work system. This study proposed a color coordinate support system for car interior color design to support designer based on emotional scale of color image. Color coordinate support system have four kinds of module, that is, the information acquisition module for gathering user's emotional data, the evaluation module for analyzing relation of color impressions and color attributes, the simulation module for supporting color coordinate design, and the evaluation support module for testing final color alternatives.

Annual Prediction of Multi-GNSS Navigation Performance in Urban Canyon (도심지역에서의 연도별 다중위성항법 통합성능 예측)

  • In the paper, we predict the number of multi-GNSS satellites and visible satellites with the navigation satellite launch plans and their nominal orbit parameters. Based on the methodology, the multi-GNSS navigation performance and DOP (Dilution of Precision) variation from 2015 to 2020 were forecasted by the Matlab simulation. To calculate the position using the multi-GNSS constellation, we determined the time-offset between the two different systems. Two different algorithms were considered for the sake of time-offset determination; that of each was applied to system level and user side. Also, the results from two algorithms were compared for evaluating each performance. For the reality, we applied the 3D map information to the simulation, which is expected to contribute for predicting the future navigation performance in urban canyon.

  • In National Defense field, the importance of M&S and T&E has been increased due to complexity of modern Weapon System. And research reducing time and cost is being conducted continually on using limited resources efficiently. In the existing research, Weapon System's Performance Evaluation System using the Process-based method has been in progress. But, Objective basis or scientific method is insufficient in selecting appropriate function of a target to performance evaluation. Due to this, it's difficult to select functions suitable to the situation in same type. Also, Requirements of user and interrelation of evaluation factors can't be reflected systematically. In this research, it proposes the method to reflecting requirements of user, interrelation of elements in realistic situation for selecting evaluation object in Performance Evaluation Simulation. First, Evaluation Objects is selected using ANP which is multi-criterion decision making method. Second, decision support system is constructed using Programming Language(C#) based on the research result.

  • In this paper, we develop a Spatio-Temporal graph as of a key component of our knowledge representation Scheme. We design an integrated representation scheme to depict not only present and past but future in parallel with the spaces in an effective and intuitive manner. An event in general occupies not only a space but a time. Hence a crucial premise for the simulation of virtual situations is to position events in the multi-dimensional context, that is, 3-D space extended by the temporal dimension. Furthermore an event tends to have physical, social and mental aspects intertwined. As a result we need diverse information structures and functions to model entities and relations associated with events and to describe situations in different stances or perspectives of the virtual agents. These structures and functions are implemented in terms of integrated and intuitive representation schemes at different levels such as Ontology View, Instance View, ST View, Reality View. The resulting multi-dimensional comprehensive knowledge structure accommodates multi-layered virtual world developing in the time to maximize the diversity of situations in the historical context. The viability of this knowledge representation scheme is demonstrated with a typical scenario applied to a simulator implemented based on the ST Graph. The virtual stage based on the ST graph can be used to provide natural contexts for situated learning or next-generation simulation games.
