많은 온라인 쇼핑몰에서 색상 기반 필터링 서비스나 추천 시스템을 제공하지만, 수동 분류는 많은 시간이 들고 오류 위험이 있다. 본 연구의 실험에서는 먼저 분석할 의류 이미지를 실루엣 분석으로 수행한 경우와 수행하지 않는 경우의 k-평균 군집화 알고리즘으로 가장 우세한 색상 군집의 중심값을 도출하는데, 만약 군집 개수가 2개 이상이면 보다 큰 군집의 중심값만을 고려한다. 이 중심값을 이용해 사전 학습한 k-최근접 이웃 알고리즘으로 색상 클래스를 분류한다. 실험 결과 실루엣 분석을 수행하지 않은 k-평균 군집화 알고리즘을 사용한 분류 방식이 정확도와 수행 시간 모두 매우 준수하였으나, 배경색이 존재하여 의류 색 분석에 영향을 줄 수 있는 경우 잘못 분류한다는 문제도 있다.

The college English teaching-learning model in this study is intended to effectively apply dictogloss activities to enhance competencies such as communication, self-directedness, and cooperation by upgrading the utilization of various online platform functions. Dictogloss is a language teaching and learning activity that combines four functions (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) of communication. College English classes in this study focus on communication-oriented integrated English education. In this study, the teaching and learning is an online-based English integrated teaching-learning method based on constructivism theory. The model presented the roles of learners and teachers according to the seven procedures.

The Journal of Industrial Management Society in Republic of Korea. In order to explore the effect of overseas language training on the development of foreign language accuracy, this study investigates the errors in English compositions produced by 27 Korean university students who received overseas language training for 15 weeks. For data collection, students were made to take two tests, a pretest and a posttest, a semester apart. The differences in composition elements and errors between the two tests were examined and statistical analyses were performed. Results showed that while the average length of the compositions and sentences increased, the number of sentences decreased in the posttest. Also, more errors were found in the posttest where the students tried to construct more complex sentence structures. The students' ability to generate sentences were found to have improved, while their competence in using grammatical elements accurately within sentences did not see great improvement. This implies that overseas language training was not effective for aiding the development of one's grammatical accuracy of a foreign language over a 15-week period for the students.

In the past, Korean English language learners focused on knowledge of grammatical structures. Thus Korean trained instructors, who focused on explaining the grammar structures, were seen as being preferable for teaching in EFL (English as a foreign language) classrooms. However, with the focus changed to speaking capability Koreans now desire 'fluent' English more than 'accuracy' seeing if possible (Mottos, 1997). Current study has been concerned about the issue of how non-native learners of English perceive the difference between native teachers (NTs) and non-native teachers (non-NTs) of English in the context of ELT classroom. The study explores the issues and problems the followed and how non-NTs can enhance teaching practice of speaking and listening lessons through multimedia application.

This study explores the effects of an video-recording English speaking task model on learners. The learning model, a form of mobile learning, was developed to facilitate the learners' output practice applying advantages of a smartphone and Text-to Speech. The survey results shows the positive effects of the speaking task on the domain of pronunciation, speaking, listening, writing in terms of students' confidence, as well as general English ability. The study further examines the possibilities and limitations of the speaking task in assisting Korean learners improve their speaking ability, who do not have sufficient exposure to English input or output practice due to the situational limitations where English is learned as a foreign language.

This paper is a study on the perception of current competency and expected competency of engineering freshmen by extracting core competencies acquired from university education. It also aims to suggest proper way for engineering university education. This study extracts competencies in the following five areas as core competencies: 'knowledge on major area', 'cultural ability', 'foreign language ability', 'basic learning ability', 'intercommunication ability'. To achieve this purpose, this study surveyed 'C' university engineering department freshmen (584 students) with questionnaires about their perception of core competencies. The results are as follows. First, engineering freshmen perceived current competencies were weak in every area, especially their capacities in 'foreign language ability' area were perceived to be weakest. Their demand for education is the highest in 'foreign language ability' area, and the second higher in 'knowledge on major area'. Secondly, there exists meaningful difference between perception of current competency and expected competency depending on the gender, high school department (science/liberal arts), high school location, types of college admissions, and types of mathematics in NAST. According to these results, this study suggests enhancement of foreign language (English) education in engineering department, design and implementation of various educational program to overcome individual difference, promoting importance of competencies in the 'cultural abilty' and 'intercommunication abilty', necessity of continuous adjustment and complementation for engineering educational program through accumulation of feedback processes, activation of career education through engineering education and special programs.

효과적으로 외국어 교육을 하려면 학습자가 지속적으로 흥미를 갖고 수업에 임하게 하고 이미 학습한 내용을 자연스럽게 직접 사용해 봄으로써 강화할 수 있도록 유도하여야 한다. 노래와 첸트, 게임은 특히 초등학교 영어교육시 중점적으로 사용하고 있는데 보다 많은 교육효과를 내기 위해서는 이들을 보다 체계적인 방법으로 활용할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 워크샵에서는 초등학교 어린이를 대상으로 영어에 대한 흥미를 북돋우면서 효과적으로 영어발음을 지도하기 위하여 어린이들에게 맞는 영어노래와 게임을 사용하는 방법 즉 노래와 게임을 이용한 학습목표 세우기, 노래 및 게임 고르기, 노래와 게임 소개하기, 여러 가지 수업활동과 접목시키는 방법 둥을 소개하고 한국인 초등학교 영어교사들을 위해 노래와 게임을 지도할 때 사용함으로써 자연스럽게 어린이들의 영어듣기 및 말하기 능력을 신장시키는 데 필요한 영어표현을 소개한다.

외국어 교육의 필요성이 강조되고 그에 대한 요구가 늘어남에 따라 언어 교육의 기회를 늘리고 비용을 줄이기 위해 컴퓨터 기반의 다양한 기술들의 요구 역시 증가하고 개발되고 있다. 언어 능력 개발의 중요한 요소로서 문법 교육에 대한 컴퓨터 지원 기술 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 문법 오류 시뮬레이션을 통해 문법 오류 패턴 데이터베이스를 구축하고 이들 패턴과 사용자 입력의 패턴 매칭으로 생성된 자질 벡터로 기계 학습을 하여 문법성 확인을 했다. 문법성 확인 결과에 따라 오류 종류에 따른 상대 빈도를 고려하여 오류 종류를 분류했다. 또 말하기와 쓰기 작업의 서로 다른 특성을 반영하기 위해 말하기 작업과 쓰기 작업에 대한 두 개의 다른 말뭉치가 학습에 이용 되었다.

본 연구는 오픈도메인 자연어 질의문 유형을 '질문 초점(Question Focus)'에 따라 분류하고, 기계학습 기반 질의문 유형 분류기의 성능 향상을 위한 주석 말뭉치 구축을 목표로 한다. 오픈도메인 질의문 분석을 통해 의문사 등의 키워드 기반 질의문 유형 분류의 한계를 설명하고, 질의문 내의 비명시적인 의미자질을 고려한 질문 초점 기반 질의문 유형 분류 기준을 정의하였다. 이 기준에 따라 구축된 112,856 문장의 주석 말뭉치를 기계학습(CNN) 기반 문장 분류 시스템의 학습 데이터로 사용하여 실험한 결과 F1-Score 97.72%성능을 보였다. 또한 이를 카카오 오픈도메인 질의응답시스템에 적용하여 질의문 확장을 위한 의미 자질로 사용하였고 그 결과 전체 시스템 성능을 1.6%p 향상시켰다.

본 논문에서는 외국인과 발음에 어려움을 겪고 있는 한국인들을 대상으로 음성 녹음을 진행하여 점수를 반환받는 웹 사이트를 소개한다. 이 웹 사이트의 목적은 사용자들의 발음 향상을 돕는 것이다. 음성 인식 API와 발음 평가 API를 사용하여 사용자의 발음을 정확하게 평가하고 피드백을 제공함으로써, 외국어 학습자와 발음에 어려움을 겪는 한국인들이 보다 원활하게 의사소통할 수 있도록 돕는다. 향후 연구로는 이 시스템의 사용자들에게 학습 성취에 대한 동기 부여를 하는 기능을 추가해 학습 효과를 높이도록 개선할 것이다.
