Analysis of Structural Types and Design Factors for Fruit Tree Greenhouses (과수재배용 온실의 구조유형과 설계요소 분석)

  • In order to provide basic data for the development of a controlled environment cultivation system and standardization of the structures, structural status and improvement methods were investigated for the fruit tree greenhouses of grape, pear, and peach. The greenhouses for citrus and grape cultivation are increasing while pear and persimmon greenhouses are gradually decreasing due to the advance of storage facilities. In the future, greenhouse cultivation will expand for the fruit trees which are more effective in cultivation under rain shelter and are low in storage capability. Fruit tree greenhouses were mostly complying with standards of farm supply type models except for a pear greenhouse and a large single-span peach greenhouse. It showed that there was no greenhouse specialized in each species of fruit tree. Frame members of the fruit tree greenhouses were mostly complying with standards of the farm supply type model or the disaster tolerance type model published by MIFAFF and RDA. In most cases, the concrete foundations were used. The pear greenhouse built with the column of larger cross section than the disaster tolerance type. The pear greenhouse had also a special type of foundation with the steel plate welded at the bottom of columns and buried in the ground. As the results of the structural safety analysis of the fruit tree greenhouses, the grape greenhouses in Gimcheon and Cheonan and the peach greenhouses in Namwon and Cheonan appeared to be vulnerable for snow load whereas the peach greenhouse in Namwon was not safe enough to withstand wind load. The peach greenhouse converted from a vegetable growing facility turned out to be unsafe for both snow and wind loads. Considering the shape, height and planting space of fruit tree, the appropriate size of greenhouses was suggested that the grape greenhouse be 7.0~8.0 m wide and 2.5~2.8 m high for eaves, while 6.0~7.0 m wide and 3.0~3.3 m of eaves height for the pear and peach greenhouses.

  • 본 논문에서는 사물인터넷 기법을 원격지에서 재배환경을 제어할 수 있는 온실 원격제어시스템을 제안한다. 온실원격제어시스템은 온실내의 환경정보를 계측하여 서버에 저장하고, 이 정보를 이용하여 사용자가 제어함으로서 최적의 재배환경으로 조절하고, 저장된 재배 환경정보를 활용하여 작물의 최적의 재배를 위한 기초 자료로 활용하도록 한다. 온실 원격 제어시스템을 웹과 연동하여 각종 기기를 이용하여 원격으로 제어함으로서 각 사용자들이 온실에 접근하지 않고 원격으로 환경을 제어할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 온실 원격제어시스템은 제어부, 통신부 그리고 계측부로 구성하였으며, 무선인터넷을 통하여 5초마다 제어신호를 확인하여 처리하고, 온도를 측정하여 서버에 저장하여 동작을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제안하는 온실 원격제어시스템은 최적의 생장환경을 지속적으로 제공하여 농가의 생산 효율성을 증대 시킬 수 있으리라 사료된다.

  • 우리나라의 기상입지 특성상 여름철 온실 내에서 작물의 정상생육을 기대하는 것은 곤란하므로, 주년재배를 위한 여름철 온실내 환경의 호적화는 온실재배 당면의 연구과제라 할 것이다. 더우기 막대한 일사부하로 인하여 온실냉방은 경제적으로 불가능한 실정이므로 다른 방법을 강구해야 한다. 그런데 수경재배에 있어서는 비교적 근권부환경의 조절이 쉬우므로, 온실의 충분한 환기 및 차광과 더불어 양액의 냉각을 통하여 작물의 고온스트레스를 줄임으로써 안정생산을 가능하게 할 수 있을것으로 생각한다. (중략)

Physiological Functionality in Geumsan Perilla Leaves from Greenhouse and Field Cultivation (온실재배와 노지재배한 금산 깻잎의 생리기능성)

  • Perilla leaves cultivated in greenhouses (Jan., May) and in the fields (Aug.) of Geumsan province were investigated for their extract yields and physiological functionalities. The yield was highest in 30% ethanol extracts of the August perilla leaves. The highest fibrinolytic activity (8.2 U) was observed in 30% ethanol extracts of the May perilla leaves, while the HMG-CoA reductase inhibition level, which is related to the inhibition of cholesterol biosynthesis, was 83% in water extracts of the August perilla leaves. Anti-hypertensive ACE inhibitory activity was 64.5% in the water extracts of the January perilla leaves, and antioxidative electron donating ability was the highest (69%) in 30% ethanol extracts of the August perilla leaves. Elastase inhibitory activity, which is related to the inhibition of skin aging, was highest (47.5%) in 30% ethanol extracts of the May perilla leaves. However, SOD-like activity, nitrite scavenging activity, and tyrosinase inhibitory activity were not detected were very weak in all samples.

The Actual State of Heat Conservation, Heating and Cooling in Greenhouses (온실의 보온 및 냉난방실태 분석)

  • 현재 국내에 보급되어 있는 현대화 온실 203개를 대상으로 냉난방과 관련된 설비현황을 조사하여 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. \circled1 온실의 건설방위는 남북동(58.1%)과 동서동(26.8%)이 대부분이었고, 철골온실은 Wide-span형이 81.8%, 플라스틱온실은 1-2W형 온실이 97.5%였다. 휴작하는 온실은 약 41%정도였고, 재배작물은 채소류가 약 80%, 화훼류가 약 20%정도였으며, 재배방식은 철골온실의 경우 양액재배가 57.2%, 플라스틱온실에서는 토양재배가 88.5%였다. \circled2 온실의 외부 피복재는 철골온실은 유리가 92.2%, 플라스틱온실에서는 PE가 43.3%, EVA가 51.9%로 대부분이었다. 철골온실은 1중피복이 98.7%로 거의 전부이었고, 플라스틱온실에서는 2중피복이 78.7%로 나타나, 철골온실에서 보온커튼을 통한 보온성 향상과 밀폐성이 더욱 중요함을 알 수 있다. \circled3 보온용 피복재는 부직포가 64.9%로 가장 많았고 대부분 2층커튼(85.9%)이었으며, 개폐방식은 대부분 예인식(92.7%)의 자동개폐방식(75.2%)이었다. 한편 바닥을 피복한 온실은 약 30% 정도로 나타나, 바닥피복으로 인한 축열이나 반사효과를 감안할 때 효율적인 바닥처리가 요망된다. \circled4 온실의 난방방식은 철골온실에서는 온수안방(47.3%)이 온풍난방(33.8%)보다 다소 많았으며, 플라스틱온실에서는 대부분 온풍난방(90.8%)이었다. 온실의 난방위치는 대부분 지상난방(89.8%)이었고 지중난방은 극소수로 나타나, 앞으로 지중난방을 통한 난방비 절감과 품질향상에 관한 실용화 연구가 요망된다. 난방용 연료는 대부분 경유(83.9%)로 나타나, 난방비를 절감할 수 있는 저가의 연료를 사용할 수 있는 난방시스템의 개발이 요청된다. \circled5 온실의 냉방방법은 차광(51.8%)과 지붕살수(33.9%)가 대부분이었으며 미스트와 포그시스템을 설치한 온실은 소수에 불과하였고, 극소수의 온실에서는 지붕위나 온실내에 지붕면과 평행하게 설치한 경우도 있었다.

Analysis of Safety Wind Speed and Snow Depth for Single-Span Plastic Greenhouse according to Growing Crops (재배작물별 단동비닐하우스의 안전풍속 및 적설심 분석)

  • This study supplies basic data to develop a greenhouse model for reducing the damage to single-span greenhouses caused by strong winds and heavy snow. Single-span plastic greenhouses are predominantly used for growing crops in Korea. Thus, the safety wind speeds for single-span greenhouses were calculated and compared with the actual wind speeds and snow depths over a period of 8 years in different regions to analyze the structural safety of single-span greenhouses. The unit wind load and unit snow load were applied to different designs of single-span greenhouse according to the cultivated crop to achieve a structural analysis. As a result, the maximum section force for the wind and snow load was greatest for leaf and root vegetables, where the safety wind speeds for single-span greenhouses according to the cultivated crop were 17.7 m/s(leaf vegetables), 20.2 m/s (fruit vegetables), and 22.3 m/s (root vegetables). Thus, the single-span greenhouses were not found to be safe for the wind load in most regions, except for Hongcheon, Icheon and Sungju. Plus, the safety snow depths for single-span greenhouses according to the crop were 8.8 cm (leaf vegetables), 9.4 cm (fruit vegetables), and 11.8cm (root vegetables). Thus, when comparing the safety snow depths with the actual snow depths, the single-span greenhouses were not found to be safe. Therefore, to improve the safety of single-span greenhouses, the structures need reinforcement by reducing the interval between rafters or increasing the size of the pipes. However, additional research is needed.

  • 여름철 온실의 수경재배를 위해서는 양액의 냉각은 필수적이다. 이와 같은 양액냉각을 적절히 실행하기 위해서는 먼저 시설내의 환경예측에 의한 양액의 냉각부하 산정 및 냉각부하에 따른 설비용량 결정이 필요하다. 그동안 국내외적으로 온실의 환경예측을 위한 모델들은 많이 개발되어 있지만 대부분이 토경재배를 대상으로 온실의 변화나 난방효율의 예측을 목적으로 하고 있으며, 수경재배 온실 더우기 양액 냉각을 취급하는 경우는 찾아보기 힘들다. (중략)

Quality Characteristics and Flavor Compounds of Geumsan Perilla Leaves Cultivated in Greenhouse and Field (온실재배와 노지재배한 금산 깻잎의 품질 특성과 향기성분)

  • Quality and flavor compounds of perilla loaves cultivated in greenhouse(May) and field (August) in Geumsan province were investigated and compared. All perilla leaves contained 4.0% crude protein and 0.8% crude lipid. Crude flavonoid contents of perilla leaves cultivated in greenhouse and field showed 25.2% and 26.5%, respectively and each crude saponin content was 2.7% and 2.8%. Pretense activity were showed 11.8 unit in ethanol extracts and 7.1 unit in water extracts of perilla leaves cultivated in field. Hardness and chewness of bottom parts of field-perilla leaves were higher than those of top and middle part, whereas the cohesiveness of top parts and middle parts of perilla leaves were higher than that of bottom part. Furthermore, texture properties of greenhouse-perilla leaves were similar with those of field-perilla leaves except chewness. Nine kinds of flavor compounds such as 1-octen-3-ol, linalool, ${\beta}$-caryophyllene, ${\alpha}$-caryophylene, ${\alpha}$-farnesene, perilla ketone, nerolidol, eugenol, ${\alpha}$-cadinol were identified in greenhouse-perilla and field-perilla leaves, showing that main flavor compound was perilla ketone.

Design and Utilization of climagraph for Analysis of Regional Suitability of Greenhouse Cropping in Korea (국내 온실재배의 적지성 분석을 위한 Climagraph의 작성과 이용)

  • We constructed climagraphs for 16 regions of Korea by using the average monthly minimum air temperature, maximum air temperature and global radiation. We characterized the outside climate requirements corresponding to the climate requirements of crops in greenhouses. The climagraphs allow to decide the appropriate climate periods for greenhouse cultivation without heating and cooling equipment. These graphs may be used for analyzing climatic characteristic of a given area, selecting the suitable region and greenhouse and making a rational plan for greenhouse cropping in Korea. We found difficulty in deciding the beginning and end of greenhouse heating and cooling period due to insufficient references.

  • The main objective of this study was to find the relationship between transpiration rate and environmental factors for crops in hydroponic culture within plastic greenhouse by using the computer model developed from the heat balance around leaves of a crop. A computer model was developed and verified through comparison with the experimental results for lettuce in hydroponic culture in a polyethylene film house. The model may be extensively used for the water management and thermal environment study of crops in protected culture, if the supplemented studies for some crops would be accomplished.
