Implementation of The Smart Plant Growth Chamber with Arduino (아두이노를 활용한 스마트 식물 재배기 구현)

  • These days, many people are interested in healthy eating. They want to buy organic fruits and organic vegetables for their wellbeing life or to grow the plants themselves. However, if you buy the organic fruits or vegetables carrying costs a lot of money, it would be difficult to bring the plants directly. In this paper, we propose the Smart Plant Growth Chamber to grow plants directly at home. Through proposed the Smart Plant Growth Chamber, users can grow the plants with minimum effort in optimized environment without need to know detailed information about to grow the plants. Also, users can feel fun of growing plants through online activities of the smart plant growth chamber, it is believed to contribute to a health eating.

Extraction of Highlights and Search Indexes of Digital Media by Analyzing Online Activity Data (온라인 활동 데이터를 활용한 영상 콘텐츠의 하이라이트와 검색 인덱스 추출 기법에 대한 연구)

  • With the spread of social media and mobile devices, people spend more time on online than ever before. As more people participate in various online activities, much research has been conducted on how to make use of the time effectively and productively. In this paper, we propose two methods which can be used to extract highlights and make searchable media indexes using online social data. For highlight extraction, we collected the comments from the online baseball broadcasting website. We adopted peak-finding algorithm to analyze the frequency of comments uploaded on the comments section of the website. For each indexes, we collected postings from soap opera forums provided by a popular web service called DCInside. We extracted all the instances when a character's name is mentioned in postings users upload after watching TV, which can be used to create indexes when the character appears on screen for the given episode of the soap opera The evaluation results shows the possibility of the crowdsourcing-based media interaction for both highlight extraction and index building.

  • Society is entering a new transition period due to the metaverse, where a new world is created by the fusion of the online virtual world and the real world with the development of information and communication technology. The realm of Metaverse, which was focused on entertainment, is gradually expanding into everyday areas such as fellowship activities, education, and commerce. Its application is also increasing in the field. Therefore, this study intends to discuss the concept, core type, development trend, and future application of the metaverse in the military field.

A Case Study of Online Practice Activities in Non-face-to-face Class - 'Introduction to Electric Circuits and Lab' Course (비대면 수업에서 온라인 실습활동의 사례- '기초전기회로 및 실습' 교과목을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to design and operate non-face-to-face online practice class in engineering education, and to explore students' perceptions and effectiveness of them. To this end, after developing and implementing a strategy for non-face-to-face online practice activities in the 'Introduction to Electric Circuits and Lab' course, the questionnaire responses of 47 learners were analyzed, and the group differences were investigated using Kruskal-Wallis test. As a result, it was found that students' perceptions of non-face-to-face online practice class were positive in terms of learning effect, learning convenience, interaction, and satisfaction. The group difference according to the face-to-face/non-face-to-face preference method was found to be higher in the group that preferred non-face-to-face class in terms of learning convenience, interaction and satisfaction. As for the group difference according to the number of questions and answers of the learners, the group who answered the question showed a higher awareness of the learning convenience and interaction than the group that did not. In addition, implications for designing a learning environment for non-face-to-face online practice classes were presented.

  • 컴퓨터 전공자들의 프로그래밍 개발 중심의 팀 프로젝트 수업은 프로그래밍 개발 능력과 팀원들 간의 협업 능력을 키울 수 있는 수업으로서, 기존에는 대면수업을 통해 교수자와 학습자간 그리고 팀을 이룬 학습자들 간에 긴밀한 상호작용으로 진행되어왔다. 그러나 2020년 COVID-19의 확산으로 대부분의 대학 수업들이 비대면 방식으로 진행됨에 따라 팀 프로젝트 수업 역시 비 대면으로 운영되어야 했으며 팀 활동을 위해 다양한 온라인 커뮤니케이션 방법이 모색되어야 했다. 본 연구에서는 팀 프로젝트 수업을 기존의 대면 수업으로 운영하였을 경우와 비대면 방식으로 운영하였을 때 학습자들이 느끼는 학습 효과에 대해 비교해보고자 한다. 대면 수업과 비대면 수업에 참여했던 학습자들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 팀 프로젝트 수업을 통한 학습 이해도, 수업 흥미도, 학습자간의 소통의 원활성, 수업 참여의 적극성 그리고 전체적인 수업 만족도에 대한 설문 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 향후 포스트 코로나 시대에는 대면과 비대면의 하이브리드 커뮤니케이션 방식이 대세를 이룰 것으로 예측되고 있는 만큼 대학 수업 방식에도 변화가 필요할 것이며 본 연구는 이를 위한 기초 연구로 활용될 수 있다.

  • This study analyzed the characteristics that affect the direction change of public fitness in the current COVID-19 situation. As a result of the study, if public and active fitness-related awareness is strengthened and fitness places require a transition from outdoor fitness to home training, fitness activities require a transition from offline fitness to offline + online sports fitness, and finally, in the case of fitness equipment, there is an increase in demand for home training. Based on these characteristics, this study is expected to help the entire nation achieve athletic life and a healthy society by presenting its course of action on the change of direction of popular movement.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 메타버스 교수법 적용을 통해 문제점을 파악하고 활용방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 교수법을 효율적으로 달성하기 위해 각각 전공이 다른 교수자가 참여하여 학습법을 공유하였다. 대부분 메타버스 활용으로 흥미로운 학습법이 이루어진 반면에 다양한 문제점도 나타났다. 활용방안으로 게임, 토론, 대화 등을 통해 사전에 충분히 숙달될 수 있도록 하고, 정규수업이 아닌 비정규 교과목에서 우선 적용, 아바타 꾸미기 활용으로 보다 즐겁게 수업 참여 유도, 가상현실속에서 예의범절 지키기 등 학습 환경 이해, 학생들의 가상공간을 통해 자신들의 언어로 수업을 이끌어 흥미 유발, 젭 스페이스에서 나만의 강의실 만들기, 친구와 대화 및 상호작용 시행, 이론 교과목 수업 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용, 모의토론 및 발표 자유롭게 유도, 자신만의 케릭터 꾸미기, 진로코칭 및 상담 적용, 수업 종료후 학생만의 추가 활동 유도 등 활용방안이 제시되었다.

  • Korean customers purcahse some products directoly from overseas for saving the money. However, in refunding or exchanging the products from overseas, customers may complain due to different regulations and language barriers. Mutual purchasing relationships is a prerequisite for establishing trust with customers and online retailers need various activities to gain the trust of consumers. This research has a purpose of investigating the relationship between trust and satisfaction according to the quality of reverse logistics service.

  • On November 16th 2004, SK Telecom Co., Ltd. launched 'MelOn' , an ubiquitous music service, into the first time in the world. It, new business model in Korea, was a great success in domestic music industry. Its key success factors are not only differential features of service but also the superiority of technical know-how, customer-oriented spirit, and marketing mix activities compared to many competitors. The case shows how MelOn developed and then introduces what on-line music service is identifying the key success factors and presenting visible outcomes. The Moderate Effectiveness On Regulatory Focus And Prices Discounts Of Scarcity Messages (희소성 메시지의 조절초점 및 가격할인에 대한 조절효과 : 온라인 판촉 메시지를 중심으로)

  • This study scarcity of recent online message promotion limited quantity of messages and time the message is limited controlled variable message whose regulatory focus and promotional discounts depending on the presence of any differences in attitudes and purchase intention appears, was to verify empirically. The results of this study, first, if limited quantity of messages focus on prevention rather than focusing on messages promoting promotion attitudes and purchase intention was higher. Second, the scarcity message is simply, as well as adjust the focus, such as price discounts and promotional activities can be controlled by a variety of points were identified. If the message is particularly limited quantity discounts are not present, rather than the message, the message is presented when the discount promotional attitudes and purchase intention, except that the amplification has been demonstrated. If the message is limited time, however, these discounts are worth the extra promotion on attitudes and purchase intentions are least likely to affect the thing that was found.
