  • This paper proposes the multimedia fingerprinting code insertion algorithm when video content is distributed in P2P environment, and designs the collusion codebook SRP(Small RISC Processor) embedded system for the collusion attack prevention. In the implemented system, it is detecting the fingerprinting code inserted in the video content of the client user in which it requests an upload to the web server and in which if it is certified content then transmitted to the streaming server then the implemented system allowed to distribute in P2P network. On the contrary, if it detects the collusion code, than the implemented system blocks to transmit the video content to the streaming server and discontinues to distribute in P2P network. And also it traces the colluders who generate the collusion code and participates in the collusion attack. The collusion code of the averaging attack is generated with 10% of BIBD code v. Based on the generated collusion code, the codebook is designed. As a result, when the insert quantity of the fingerprinting code is 0.15% upper in bitplane 0~3 of the Y(luminance) element of I-frame at the video compression of ASF for a streaming service and MP4 for an offline offer of video content, the correlation coefficient of the inserted original code and the detected code is above 0.15. At the correlation coefficient is above 0.1 then the detection ratio of the collusion code is 38%, and is above 0.2 then the trace ratio of the colluder is 20%.

  • This paper presents a comparison of recognition performance of the features used inthe recent handwritten korean character recognition. This research aims at providing the basis for feature selecion in order to improve not only the recognition rate but also the efficiency of recognition system. For the comparison of feature performace,we analyzed the characteristics of theose features and then, classified them into three rypes:global feature(image transformation)type, statistical feature type, and local/ topological feature type. For each type,we selected four or five features which seem more suitable to represent the characteristics of korean alphabet, and performed recongition experiments for the first consonant, horizontal vowel, and vertical vowel of a korean character, respectively. The classifier used in our experiments is a multi-layered perceptron with one hidden layer which is trained with backpropagation algorithm. The training and test data in the experiment are taken from 30sets of PE92. Experimental results show that 1)local/topological features outperform the other two type features in terms of recognition rates 2)mesh and projection features in statical feature type, walsh and DCT features in global feature type, and gradient and concavity features in local/topological feature type outperform the others in each type, respectively.

  • Verification of internal organ motion during treatment and its feedback is essential to accurate dose delivery to the moving target. We developed an offline based internal organ motion verification system (IMVS) using cine EPID images and evaluated its accuracy and availability through phantom study. For verification of organ motion using live cine EPID images, a pattern matching algorithm using an internal surrogate, which is very distinguishable and represents organ motion in the treatment field, like diaphragm, was employed in the self-developed analysis software. For the system performance test, we developed a linear motion phantom, which consists of a human body shaped phantom with a fake tumor in the lung, linear motion cart, and control software. The phantom was operated with a motion of 2 cm at 4 sec per cycle and cine EPID images were obtained at a rate of 3.3 and 6.6 frames per sec (2 MU/frame) with $1,024{\times}768$ pixel counts in a linear accelerator (10 MVX). Organ motion of the target was tracked using self-developed analysis software. Results were compared with planned data of the motion phantom and data from the video image based tracking system (RPM, Varian, USA) using an external surrogate in order to evaluate its accuracy. For quantitative analysis, we analyzed correlation between two data sets in terms of average cycle (peak to peak), amplitude, and pattern (RMS, root mean square) of motion. Averages for the cycle of motion from IMVS and RPM system were $3.98{\pm}0.11$ (IMVS 3.3 fps), $4.005{\pm}0.001$ (IMVS 6.6 fps), and $3.95{\pm}0.02$ (RPM), respectively, and showed good agreement on real value (4 sec/cycle). Average of the amplitude of motion tracked by our system showed $1.85{\pm}0.02$ cm (3.3 fps) and $1.94{\pm}0.02$ cm (6.6 fps) as showed a slightly different value, 0.15 (7.5% error) and 0.06 (3% error) cm, respectively, compared with the actual value (2 cm), due to time resolution for image acquisition. In analysis of pattern of motion, the value of the RMS from the cine EPID image in 3.3 fps (0.1044) grew slightly compared with data from 6.6 fps (0.0480). The organ motion verification system using sequential cine EPID images with an internal surrogate showed good representation of its motion within 3% error in a preliminary phantom study. The system can be implemented for clinical purposes, which include organ motion verification during treatment, compared with 4D treatment planning data, and its feedback for accurate dose delivery to the moving target.

  • Many countries are establishing and operating blended learning that combines the advantages of online and offline education. However, online education lecture-based Mooc courses have a very low level, with a graduation rate of less than 5-10%. Therefore, in order to increase the graduation rate of students taking online Mooc distance education lectures that anyone can easily take lectures anytime, anywhere on the web-based basis, it is necessary to introduce automatic analysis of students' understanding level of lectures and an automatic academic warning system. Moreover, in order to enter an advanced education country, it is necessary to develop an automatic judgment SW for wrong answer rate, automatic summary SW for lectures, and automatic analysis SW education for lecture-based weak subjects based on mixed learning levels. In order to improve this problem, in this paper, we proposed and simulated an automatic summarization system for lecture contents, an automatic warning system for incorrect answers, and an automatic judgment algorithm for weak subjects.

  • In recent, the maritime traffic has increased with an increase in international trading volumes and the growing popularity of marine leisure activities. As increasing of maritime traffic, marine accidents happened continually and there are possibilities of accidents at sea. According to the analysis of marine accidents, most accidents occurred by human error of seafarers. To reduce the accidents by human error, the various assistance system for assist seafarers have been proposed. It is required to real-time data management method for applying to real-time system, but most proposed assistance system used off-line data for analysis. In this paper, we aim to build a navigation supporting system for providing safety information to deck officer with data of AIS(Automatic Identification System) and ARPA Radar(Automatic Radar Plotting Aids Radar), and proposed a management algorithm for real-time ship information with blackboard system and verified the validity.

  • If a moving target has a linear characteristics, the Kalman filter can estimate relatively accurate the location of a target, but this performance depends on how the dynamic status characteristics of the target is accurately modeled. In many practical problems of tracking a maneuvering target, a simple kinematic model can fairly accurately describe the target dynamics for a wide class of maneuvers. However, since the target can exhibit a wide range of dynamic characteristics, no fixed SKF(Simple Kalman filter) can be matched to estimate, to the required accuracy, the states of the target for every specific maneuver. In this paper, a new AKF(Active Kalman filter) is proposed to solve this problem The process noise covariance level of the Kalman filter is adjusted at each time step according to the study result which uses the neural network algorithm. It is demonstrated by means of a computer simulation that the tracking capability of the proposed AKF(Active Kalman filter) is better than that of the SKF(Simple Kalman Filter).
