Analysis and Design of Connected Car Infotainment System (커넥티드카 인포테인먼트 시스템의 분석 및 설계)

  • A connected car's major factor is connectivity and it can be applied for new concept smart PC hardware and software design method of digital virtual assistance using voice recognition engine at server when infotainment functions are implemented because internet connecting LTE or 5G wireless mobile communication is always is possible. In this paper, a hardware architecture of smart auto-PC and software architecture based on GENIVI platform, and necessary functions are proposed. Also an effective analysis and design method of connected car infotainment system will be presented by showing user requirement analysis using object-oriented method, flowchart and screen design.

Obstacle Detection and Recognition System for Autonomous Driving Vehicle (자율주행차를 위한 장애물 탐지 및 인식 시스템)

  • In recent years, research has been actively carried out to recognize and recognize objects based on a large amount of data. In this paper, we propose a system that extracts objects that are thought to be obstacles in road driving images and recognizes them by car, man, and motorcycle. The objects were extracted using Optical Flow in consideration of the direction and size of the moving objects. The extracted objects were recognized using Alexnet, one of CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) recognition models. For the experiment, various images on the road were collected and experimented with black box. The result of the experiment showed that the object extraction accuracy was 92% and the object recognition accuracy was 96%.

Development of an Automated System for Predicting Shape and Volume of Air Pocket on the Draw Die (드로우 금형의 에어 포켓 형상 및 체적예측 자동화 시스템 개발)

  • Metal stamping is widely used in the mass-production process of the automobile. During the stamping process, air may be trapped between the draw die and the panel and/or between the punch and the panel. Air pocket rapidly not only increases forming load in the final stage, but also deforms the product just formed by compressive air inside the air pocket in knockout process. To prevent these problems air bent holes are drilled in the die to exhaust the trapped air but all processes associated with air bent holes are performed by empirical know-how of workers in the field due to lack of researches. Therefore this study developed an automated design system for predicting the shape and position, and volume of air pocket on the draw die by using the AutoLISP language under AutoCAD circumstance. The system is able to display the shape of air pocket occurred in the draw die and to calculate automatically its volume by strokes. So it makes a stepping stone to calculate theoretical size of an air bent hole and numbers according to it by predicting and analyzing the position and volume of air pocket. Results obtained from the system enable the designers or manufacturers of the stamping die to be more efficient in this field.

  • This paper suggests that implementation of the Simulink execution module controls Simulink simulation and shows simulation results by applying Automata theory. This module is composed of three independent systems that the main program to accept user commands, the thread to control a simulation of Simulink model and the Simulink model to execute simulation. This paper designs each module and entire system by applying Automata theory, and implements it with C# and MATLAB language. And the Simulink execution module implemented will be verified through the experiment.

A New Effective Mobile Crowdsourcing Control Scheme Based on Incentive Mechanism (인센티브 매커니즘에 기반한 효율적인 이동 크라우드소싱 기법에 대한 연구)

  • In this paper, we design a new mobile crowdsourcing control scheme based on the incentive mechanism. By using a novel incentive mechanism, mobile nodes can get the maximum payoff when they report their true private information. As mobile nodes participate in the overlapping coalition formation game, they can effectively invest their resource while getting the higher reward. Simulation results clearly indicate that the proposed scheme has a better performance than the other existing schemes under various mobile crowdsourcing environments.

  • 일반적으로 집이나 건물이 지어진 후 약 2~3년이 지나면 수도관 내부에는 물때, 미생물, 유기화합물질 등이 혼합되어 슬라임(slime)이 발생하며, 노후화되어 슬러지(sludge) 형태로 누적 되거나 스케일(scale)이 발생하고 있다. 이러한 이물질의 누적으로 인하여 수도관이 손상되거나, 여러 가지 원인으로 인하여 교체해야하는 상황이 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 저수조나 공용관의 경우에는 정기적으로 세척하고 있으며, 일반 가정 내의 수도관 역시 정기적인 관리가 필요하다고 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 적절한 배관청소기의 제어를 위하여 물과 압축공기의 배합을 적절하게 제어하도록 하여 배관내부의 이물질을 제거할 수 있는 배관청소시스템을 설계하고자 하며, 밸브조절 및 물의 공급시간과 압축공기의 유입시간에 대한 적절한 제어를 원격지에서 제어할 수 있도록 배관청소시스템을 개발하여 성능에 관한 평가와 사업화 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

  • One-dimensional 3-neighborhood Cellular Automata (CA)-based pseudo-random number generators are widely applied in generating test patterns to evaluate system performance and generating key sequence generators in cryptographic systems. In this paper, in order to design a CA-based key sequence generator that can generate more complex and confusing sequences, we study a one-dimensional symmetric 5-neighborhood CA that expands to five neighbors affecting the state transition of each cell. In particular, we propose an n-cell one-dimensional symmetric 5-neighborhood CA synthesis algorithm using the algebraic method that uses the Krylov matrix and the one-dimensional 90/150 CA synthesis algorithm proposed by Cho et al. [6].

  • 우리 생활 속에 사물인터넷이 확산하면서 상호작용이 가능한 스마트 기기들이 증가하고 있다. 차량은 인간에게 친숙한 이동수단으로, 현재 차량 인포테인먼트(Infotainment) 시스템의 관심이 급증하고 있다. 하지만 해당 시스템은 기업마다 개발요소와 기준이 다르다. 본 논문에서는 차량 인포테인먼트 장치들을 통합적으로 관리하는 모듈을 설계 및 개발하고, 미래 인포테인먼트 서비스의 방향을 제시 하고자 한다. 본 논문의 모듈은 스마트폰과 마스터 디바이스(Device), 그리고 센서들을 사용해 제작되었으며, 모듈의 실제 차량의 적용 및 확장을 통해 더 나은 인포테인먼트 관리 모듈을 개발할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • Recently, users using social network service(SNS) with smart phone as well as users using smart phone are so rapidly increasing. In this paper, Android based local SNS system is proposed and developed. The main feature and contribution are as follows. First, the proposed SNS system is developed based on smart phone Android for supporting both the search of neighbor users and the addition of friends to start SNS with Web/DB. Second, the system is designed with the unchanged basic UI of Android and user oriented approach. The performance evaluation is performed by using OPTIMUS-Q/ANDROID 2.1. The results of performance evaluation show that the proposed SNS system can efficiently support the neighbor search services by using android based bluetooth neighbor search. Currently, we are still ongoing working on bluetooth autofaring in android to improve the performance of the proposed system.

Anomaly Data Detection Using Machine Learning in Crowdsensing System (크라우드센싱 시스템에서 머신러닝을 이용한 이상데이터 탐지)

  • Recently, a crowdsensing system that provides a new sensing service with real-time sensing data provided from a user's device including a sensor without installing a separate sensor has attracted attention. In the crowdsensing system, meaningless data may be provided due to a user's operation error or communication problem, or false data may be provided to obtain compensation. Therefore, the detection and removal of the abnormal data determines the quality of the crowdsensing service. The proposed methods in the past to detect these anomalies are not efficient for the fast-changing environment of crowdsensing. This paper proposes an anomaly data detection method by extracting the characteristics of continuously and rapidly changing sensing data environment by using machine learning technology and modeling it with an appropriate algorithm. We show the performance and feasibility of the proposed system using deep learning binary classification model of supervised learning and autoencoder model of unsupervised learning.
