Low-complexity Sampling Set Selection for Bandlimited Graph Signals (대역폭 제한 그래프신호를 위한 저 복잡도 샘플링 집합 선택 알고리즘)

  • We study the problem of sampling a subset of nodes of graphs for bandlimited graph signals such that the signal values on the sampled nodes provide the most information in order to reconstruct the original graph signal. Instead of directly minimizing the reconstruction error, we focus on minimizing the upper bound of the reconstruction error to reduce the complexity of the selection process. We further simplify the upper bound by applying useful approximations to propose a low-weight greedy selection process that is iteratively conducted to find a suboptimal sampling set. Through the extensive experiments for various graphs, we inspect the performance of the proposed algorithm by comparing with different sampling set selection methods and show that the proposed technique runs fast while preserving a competitive reconstruction performance, yielding a practical solution to real-time applications.

  • In this paper , we study the problem of designing TS(Takagi-Sugeno) fuzzy controllers for the systems that can be approximated or represented by the TS fuzzy model. The main strategy used in this paper is the inverse optimal approach, in which the cost function is determined later than the Lyapunov function and its corresponding control input satisfying the design requirements such as stability, decay rate, and robustness against uncertainty. This approach is useful because it yields controllers satisfying the inherent robustness of optimal controllers as well as the considered design goals. The design procedures established in this paper are all in the from of solving LMIs(Iinear matrix inequalities). Since the LMIs arising in the design procedures can be solved within a given tolerance by the interior point methods. the design method of the paper are efficient in practice. The applicability of the proposed design procedures is demonstrated by design examples.

Adaptive Equalization Algorithm of Improved-CMA for Phase Compensation (위상 보상을 위한 개선된 CMA 적응 등화 알고리즘)

  • This paper related with the I-CMA (Improved-CMA) algorithm that is possible to compensates of phase in CMA adatpve equalizer which is used for the elemination of intersymbol interference in the multipath fading and band limit characteristics of channel. The new cost function is proposed for the eliminate the amplitude and phase simulataneous by modifying the cost fuction for get the error signal in present CMA algorithm. It has a merit to the algorithm simplicities and eliminats the PLL device for phase compensation after equalization. For proving this, the recovered signal constellation that is the output of equalizer output signal and the residual isi and Maximum Distortion charateristic learning curve that are presents the convergence performance in the equalizer and the overall frequency transfer function of channel and equalizer were used. As a result of computer simulation, the I-CMA has more good compensation capability of amplitude and phas in the recovered constellation. But the convergence time is slow due to the simultaneously phase compensation.

Determination of Excitation and Response Measurement Points for an Efficient Modal Testing (효율적 모우드시험을 위한 가진점과 응답측정점의 결정)

  • A method, which uses analytical or numerical modal analysis results, e.g. from finite element analysis, to select desirable response measurement and excitation points for an efficient modal testing is introduced. First, points of master degree of freedom(DOP) are determined so as to statistically minimize errors between responses of a full order model and those estimated from the reduced order model. Such master DOF's are selected as the response measurement points. Then a criterion named 'driving point model constant(DPMC)' related to the magnitudes of resonance peaks of the driving point freqency response functions used to select the point of excitation out of the master DOF's. In this work, the method is demonstrated through applications to modal testing on a one dimensional cantilever beam and an aluminum plate and the results are compared with those by another technique. also, the method is applied to a two dimensional structural component of a passenger car.

초다시점 영상 합성을 위한 온라인 삼차원 복원 기술

  • 본 논문에서는 초다시점 (Super Multi-view) 영상 합성을 위한 영상 기반의 온라인 삼차원 복원 기술들을 소개한다. 복원의 정확성을 높이고자 하는 방법은 크게 두 부류로 나뉜다. 먼저 재투영 오차를 비용 함수(Cost function)으로 정의하고, 이를 Bundle Adjustment로부터 최적화를 수행하는 방법과 카메라의 위치와 삼차원 복원 결과에 대해 확률적인 분포를 정의하고 이를 순차적으로 추정하는 확률적인 필터링(Stochastic filtering)에 기반한 방법이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 두 방법의 장단점을 분석하고, 이로부터 새로운 확률적 필터링에 기반한 3차원 복원 및 카메라 위치 추정 방법을 제안한다. 이로부터 대공간 환경에 적용하여 성능을 검증한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 이동 로봇의 경로 추종 제어를 위해 웨이블릿 신경 회로망에 기반한 예측 제어기의 설계 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 제안한 방법에 의해 설계된 제어기는 이동 로봇의 동특성을 예측하기 위한 웨이블릿 신경회로망 기반 예측기와 예측 제어기로 구성된다. 제안한 방법에서 모델링 및 제어기로 적용되는 신경 회로망의 장점과 우수한 해석 능력을 가진 웨이블릿 변환의 장점을 결합한 웨이블릿 신경 회로망을 이용하여 이동 로븟의 동특성을 모델링하여 예측 제어기에서의 비용 함수 최소화에 적용한다. 경로 추종 제어의 목적인 이동 로봇의 실제 출력과 예측기의 출력 오차를 최소화하기 위해 웨이블릿 신경 회로망의 파라미터 동정 및 예측 제어기는 경사 하강법을 이용하여 학습한다. 마지막으로 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 통하여 제안한 예측 제어 시스템의 적용가능성 및 효율성을 검증하고자 한다.

A Performance Comparison of CM-MMA and RMMA Blind Equalization Algorithm in QAM Signal Transmission (QAM 신호 전송에서 CM-MMA와 RMMA 블라인드 등화 알고리즘의 성능 비교)

  • This paper compare the performance of CM-MMA (Constellation Matching-MMA) and RMMA (Region-based MMA) blind equalization algorithm for improve the QoS by minimizing the intersymbol interference that is occurred in nonlinear communication channel when transmitting the QAM signal. In the tap coefficient update for adaptive, CM-MMA use the error of nonconstant modulus signal adding the current MMA cost fuction and constellation matching error terms of sinusoidal power function, and the RMMA use the error by transfoms the nonconstant modulus signal of equalizer output constellation to 4-QAM constant modulus signal. They has different equalization performance by these error signal, it were compared in this paper by simulation, and performance index such as output signal constellation of equalizer, residual isi, maximum distortion, SER curves are applied for this. As a result of computer simulation, the RMMA has more better performance in the every performance index, convergence speed, residual value, noise robustness compared to CM-MMA.

  • Mode choice model is an essential element for estimating- the demand of new means of transportation in the planning stage as well as in the establishment phase. In general, current demand analysis model developed for the mode choice analysis applies common parameters of utility function in each region which causes inaccuracy in forecasting mode choice behavior. Several critical problems from using common parameters are: a common parameter set can not reflect different distribution of coefficient for travel time and travel cost by different population. Consequently, the resulting model fails to accurately explain policy variables such as travel time and travel cost. In particular, the nonlinear logit model applied to aggregation data is vulnerable to the aggregation error. The purpose of this paper is to consider the regional characteristics by adopting the parameters fitted to each area, so as to reduce prediction errors and enhance accuracy of the resulting mode choice model. In order to estimate parameter of each area, this study used Household Travel Survey Data of Metropolitan Transportation Authority. For the verification of the model, the value of time by marginal rate of substitution is evaluated and statistical test for resulting coefficients is also carried out. In order to crosscheck the applicability and reliability of the model, changes in mode choice are analyzed when Seoul subway line 9 is newly opened and the results are compared with those from the existing model developed without considering the regional characteristics.

A Study on Wavelet Neural Network Based Generalized Predictive Control for Path Tracking of Mobile Robots (이동 로봇의 경로 추종을 위한 웨이블릿 신경 회로망 기반 일반형 예측 제어에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose a wavelet neural network(WNN) based predictive control method for path tracking of mobile robots with multi-input and multi-output. In our control method, we use a WNN as a state predictor which combines the capability of artificial neural networks in learning processes and the capability of wavelet decomposition. A WNN predictor is tuned to minimize errors between the WNN outputs and the states of mobile robot using the gradient descent rule. And control signals, linear velocity and angular velocity, are calculated to minimize the predefined cost function using errors between the reference states and the predicted states. Through a computer simulation for the tracking performance according to varied track, we demonstrate the efficiency and the feasibility of our predictive control system.
