Stable Face Detection using Skin-tone and AdaBoost Algorithm (피부 색상 및 아다부스트 알고리즘을 이용한 안정적 얼굴감지)

  • 본 논문은 RGB 24bit 컬러 영상으로 전달되는 카메라 원영상에 대해 사람의 얼굴을 안정적으로 감지할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제시한다. RGB 입력영상을 HSI 기반의 컬러모델로 변환하여 피부 색상을 추출하고 그리드 영상을 기반으로 CCL (Connected-Component Labeling) 알고리즘을 적용하여 피부 블럽을 검출한 뒤, 아다부스트 알고리즘을 이용하여 얼굴 영역과 얼굴이 아닌 다른 피부 영역을 구분한다. 제안방법은 일반적으로 얼굴 감지를 위하여 폭넓게 사용되고 있는 아다부스트 알고리즘만을 적용하였을 때보다 얼굴감지 오류를 줄일 수 있다.

  • 블랙 스크린은 비디오 월 컨트롤러의 멀티스크린에 정상적인 영상이 아닌 블랙 스크린이 표출되는 현상이다. 비디오 월 컨트롤러에서 블랙 스크린이 발생하는 빈도는 높지 않지만, 운용 중에 발생하게 되면 모니터링 업무를 수행할 수 없게 되므로 치명적인 오류라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 블랙 스크린을 감지하기 위한 시스템이 개발되고 있지만, 거짓 양성의 비율이 높고 블랙 스크린이 발생한 위치를 추정하지 못하는 단점이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 R-CNN을 이용하여 감지 성능을 향상시키고 블랙 스크린이 발생한 위치를 추정하는 모델을 제안한다.

  • The necessity of IoT(Internet of Things) and Multimedia CSCW is described, and error control for multimedia CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperated Works) based on CoAP stack is suggested. This paper describes an error synchronization running on gateway software stack based CoAP. This system consists of an CS_EDA, and CS_ESA. CS_EDA is an agent that detects an error for multimedia distance system based on gateway software stack based CoAP environment. CS_ESA is an agent that is an error synchronization system for multimedia distance control based on gateway software stack based CoAP environment. From the perspective of multimedia collaborative environment of gateway software stack based CoAP, an error application becomes another interactive presentation error is synchronized with participants engaged in a cooperative work.

  • Our Digital Carousel enables user to share media objects through media synchronization mechanism. We implemented the Digital Carousel so that the users participated in collaborative work may refer shared media or error objects as the same view to others. This paper explains the design and implementation of the EC_DXS(Error Control in Digital Carousel System). EC_DCS is a system that is suitable for detecting sharing and recovering software error based on multimedia CSCW(Computer Supportes Cooperated Work). With error sharing system, a group cooperating users can share me. applications.   • As an Embedded system combining hardware and software gets more complicated, the importance of the embedded software test increases. Especially, it is mandatory to test the embedded software in the system which has high safety level. In embedded system, it is necessary to develop a test technique to detect faults in interaction between hardware and software. In this paper, we propose a test data selection technique using a fault injection technique for the faults in interaction between hardware and software in embedded system and we apply our technique to the Digital Plant Protection System and analyze effectiveness of the proposed technique through experiments.

  • Multimedia isn ow applied to various real world areas. In particular, the focus on multimedia system and CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperative Work) has increased. In spite of this current trend, however, the study of fault tolerance for CSCW has not yet fully progressed. We propose EDR_MSCW. It is a system that is suitable for detecting ad recovering software error based on multimedia computer supported cooperative work as DOORAE by using software techniques. DOORAE is a framwork for supporting development on multimedia applications for computer-based collaborative works. When an error occurs, EDR_MCSCW detects an error by using hooking methods in MS-Windows API(Application Program Interface) function. If an error is found, we present a checkpointing and recovery algorithm which has the removal function of the domino-effect for recovering multimedia and CSCW by using stack.

  • Communication performance requirements are described as QoS parameters in multimedia communication Protocols including SCTP. One of the important QoS parameters is the reliability of the transfer. As a QoS parameter, the reliability defines error detection, report and correction mechanisms. Including SCTP, conventional error control mechanisms, however, do not consider the integrated viewpoint of multimedia data. In this paper, I have designed and proposed the multimedia oriented error control method based on multimedia characteristics. The proposed scheme should have the reduction effect of the communication resources such as frame buffer, procesing power and bandwidth as well as satisfy the requirements of users.

  • 멀티미디어 통신에서 통신 성능에 관련된 요구 사항들은 QoS 매개 변수들로서 서술된다. QoS매개 변수들에서 중요한 매개 변수 중의 하나가 전송 신뢰성이다. QoS 매개 변수로서의 신뢰성은 오류 감지, 보고 그리고 정정 기법으로 정의된다. 하지만 기존의 오류 제어 기법들은 멀티미디어 데이타의 통합된 관점을 고려하지 않았다. 그래서 우리는 MEC(multimedia-oriented error control)라고 명명된 오류 제어 기법을 제안하였다. 1 본 논문에서는 MEC기법의 성능을 조사 하였다. 성능평가 결과는 MEC기법이 기존의 오류 제어 기법보다도 낮은 전송지연(lower delay)과 호손율(blocking probability) 을 갖는다는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 결국 제안된 MEC기법은 수송 프로토콜에게 유연성과 높은 성능을 갖도록 해준다.Abstract Communication performance requirements are described as QoS parameters in multimedia communication. Conventional error control mechanisms, however, do not consider the integrated viewpoint of multimedia data. So we have proposed the MEC(multimedia-oriented error control). 1 In this paper, we have investigated the performance evaluation of the MEC. The results show that the MEC mechanism provides lower transfer delay and blocking probability than those of the conventional error recovery mechanism. Therefore, the proposed MEC mechanism makes the transport protocol have the flexibility and high performance.
